DeLonghi Magnifica S ECAM22110SB
I am satisfied with the quality of the coffee produced by this machine and the taste is General. But it is very convenient to use
the machine produces a different quality of coffee, sometimes good taste, sometimes the taste is not very good.
The coffee temperature of this machine is generally satisfactory, and the coffee temperature cannot be kept consistent with each Production.

Magic products
1. I am quite satisfied with the quality of the coffee produced by this machine, which is a little bit worse in terms of taste.
2. The quality of the coffee produced by this machine is consistent and there is no significant difference.
3. I am satisfied with the coffee temperature of the machine, which produces the same temperature every time, no different from the coffee shop.

Easy to use, perfect for family
This product is very easy to use. It is fully automatic. It has a frothing attachment which is easy to clean and manage. All you have to do is heat the milk to your desired temperature andit can grind the coffee beans for you. Then the coffee is done. Highly recommended.

Coffee Machine
Have used this machine for over 3 years now without any major problems. Very occasionally a coffee bean gets stuck in grinder which is easy to remove. All you have to do is heat the milk to your desired temperature and froth level with the rest being fully automatic. Easy to use and highly recommended

Not bad
Not bad, makes good coffee and works well .Can burn coffee if not cleaned properly.
After 4 years the machine has started leaking heavily. Coffee leaks straight into the grinds vessel and further back rather than your cup . I suspect the O-rings have perished at the heater block.

Love this coffee machine
This coffee Machine is perfect, fully automatic, grinds coffee beans and also takes pre ground coffee, milk frother is in the machine and doesn't stand separate so saves on having extra bits and pieces on the bench tops, one of our main reasons for buying this machine. Can make two cups at once, we even make our travel mug coffee under it. Very easy to refill the water and to clean the machine. Machine has lights that come on when certain things need doing cross reference with the booklet you are given simple

A good machine
So far so good, works well, has 2 rinses: one when first turned on which is good as it is hot water and heats the cup, another prior to close down, so it uses lots of water, the water container could have been a bit bigger but then it would have made the machine bigger. It is nice and compact for my small kitchen. I don't have to descale as I use rain water. It has a little red plastic container on the bottom left side, don't know what its use is but it overflows with water so have to empty it frequently.
I have never tried the milk frothing a...Read more

Love it
I have a super easy, completely automatic coffee machine that broke just over a year after purchasing. I replaced it with this. It was a little tricky to work out to begin with, but it runs so smoothly. I couldn't do without it now! And my toddler is loving babychinos made with it too. Got to love coffee machines

DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM0411X
Put in the DeLonghi Magnifica which your system said had been replaced by the Magnifica S; there are two separate machines as far as I am aware....purchased a week ago. I bought the Magnifica and not the Magnifica S because I needed a black machine to go on black marble and didn't want this large machine to take over the kitchen. Looks good. The guide that came with it is not great, how to adjust the temperature of the water was addressed but not fully, online they had a video which told you how to change the factory settings which are at 2...Read more
rather than 4 ie the hottest. Like I do not have to grind the beans and clean the containers on a daily basis but tired of putting in water after three days when only make one cup a day, although have to add to the cup that I make as it is small but couldn't use the 2 cup facility because it made too much. Glad I read other reviews to ensure I put a glass under the spouts to collect water otherwise the container in the base would be overflowing probably every 3 days. They really should tell you to add the glass in their instructions...really..and the instructions that came with the product are different to the ones printed out from online... September 28th 2018 Update: Water not that hot Really good, grinds coffee beans, makes the coffee. So glad all I do is have one a day, otherwise I would be constantly refilling the water container (contains 1.7L) and emptying the coffee grounds more than once a week. The water is not hot enough (have it set at top temp), so the coffee is not hot enough; have followed all the instructions (those online were not in the guide that came with it; they seem to have a different written guide on line cf what came in the box, confusing, but its the videos that only contained how to adjust the water temperature up it would seem they have reissued them or the ones in the box are older/newer but no better). The other issue is the serving size is too small. Lke a long black, have got it set to a full cup, but its a smaller serving than I am used to, so have to push the water button within 3 seconds and keep holding it in to get a larger serve....annoying. I would have gone up to the next model but my kitchen is black marble, and so needed this version in the black; the other model only seemed to have come in silver unfortunately, not sure that would have fixed those two issues. The four stars are for the convenience.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love my Magnifica, but very noisy
I use my coffee machine just about daily, and on the weekends it really gets a workout. It produces great tasting coffee, i find it really straightforward to froth milk using the steam wand and a stainless steel jug. The only downside is the machine is horrendously loud during operation. Making a coffee early in the morning with other members of the household still sleeping is a nightmare because of it.
Oh, and I bought mine refurbished by a coffee machine dealer on eBay. I chose delonghi due to good reputation and an abundance of spare parts online, so if it ever breaks I should be able to fix it easily enough as I'm handy with a screwdriver.

Good coffee machine
We bought this in replacement of the pod machines! Love it, just don’t like the turn nob to steam the milk it’s really annoying and it sometimes feels like it’s too much of an effort to even make a coffee because of the steaming milk function. However easy to clean and filters last a while!

Frother not working after a few months
I am quite happy with this machine in terms of coffee taste, easy usage and clean up. It will take some attempts to arrive to your perfect cup of coffee though. I can do milk frothing after a few tries. It would be better if it is fully automatic, but I am happy with the price I paid after 20% discount.
Updated on 29/1/19:
After a few months use, frothing was not working after the O ring fell out. Called customer service and they sent me a few O rings. Replaced the ring but frother was still not working properly. I gave up and bought Breville Milk Cafe instead.

Great Coffee Every Time!
This is a very easy to use coffee machine that produces great coffee every time. An affordable machine that I have to rave about. Our machine gets used on average 4-8 times a day. The machine uses ground or whole beans and after a few practices, the milk froths just like a barista. Easy to clean and requires a descale around every 100th coffee. Once again, simple to descale, the machine does it itself. I recommend this machine to anyone who wants an affordable, easy to use machine. I just need to teach the kids to use it so they an make me a coffee!

Love this coffee machine!
Purchased this coffee machine last year from the good guys and love it. I had another DeLonghi before this one and it was good as well. This machine is so easy to use, easy to keep clean, easy to understand the manual and makes a good cup of brew (no more burnt coffees from the cafes) DeLonghi's warranty is great and they have always been available to answer any questions that come up. They have even offered a number of times when I was having issues with my frother to come out and fix it and at the same time give me some lessons on how to get ...Read more
the full benefits out of owning this machine. This machine even comes with us on our caravaning adventures and seems to draw people out from the smell of freshly ground coffee! I love this machine however it will be updated again in the near future as I would prefer to have a machine that is FULLY automatic (by this I mean do the milk frothing as well)Similar opinion? Just love it
Without a doubt this is the absolute best buyof 2018. I couldnt be happier. The machine is so simple to use, easy to clean and looks great. Ive used a pod machine for the last few years and thought it was good, which it was. The new machine however is fantastic. Sure it cost a bit more but it is so worth it. If you love good coffee you will love this machine!

A Little Disappointed
We replaced our trusty and beloved Delonghi coffee machine about six months ago with this machine due to age. Despite many attempts to de-calcify this machine, the calcification red light keeps on flashing and have asked with the same machine and understand this is common. And despite making adjustments to the grinder, the coffee's just aren't as good as the ones coming out of old machine.

Absolute Delight To Use
This is a wonderful machine. It looks beautiful and gives me a little thrill each time I use it. if is FULLY fully automatic meaning you just put you cup down and bingo! The machine takes care of everything in about 30 seconds you are looking at a steaming cup of coffee without lifting a finger. magic! I carefully researched and these are quite reliable despite their complex internals so I am expecting many years out of it.

When I descale my DeLonghi coffee machine, the descale water only comes out of the milk frothier (which we hardly ever use) and not the two coffee spouts. I am following all the descale instructions in the booklet and have watched the youtube videos and I'm doing all the right things! Please help.

Hi,
I had an automatic DeLongi Prima Donna for years but was never quite satisfied with the milk foam. I understand that DeLongi now has machines that have a Latte system that produces a thick lasting foam so I’m thinking of buying another automatic DeLongi machine.
So, two questions:
1) Does the latte system produce a foam that is like the foam you get when buying a cup of cappuccino coffee at a coffee shop? (To me the foam is almost as important as the coffee itself, and is in fact the reason I would be prepared to spend many hundreds of dollars on a machine, instead of just continuing to use a simple plunge coffee jug.)
2) All I wish to make is a good tasting Cappuccino coffee with a thick creamy foam, from an automatic machine as I’m lazy, so I don’t need any other extra bells and whistles. If a DeLongi person is reading this, then which of your automatic machines would you recommend?
Hoping someone can help,
Jen

I would suggest you look at the De Longhi website and find where there is a local demonstration of their machines. We found some at the local Good Guys and Harvey Norman stores, they were invaluable in determining the machine to buy.

Hi Jenifer,
Our Latte Crema system can definitely do thick cappuccino froth. We have a live demo service set up at the moment as due to the covid restrictions there are not as many stores doing demonstrations. If you wanted to book some time here is the link.

The Dinamica Plus ECAM 37095T is a perfect solution as it has the thermal carafe that can keep milk out of the fridge for a couple of hours. All of our milk carafes come with an easy cleaning system so that you dont get milk build up in the top of the carafe and it separate to the coffee brew.
THe good thing about dinamica plus is it has a colour screen and this makes it even easier to choose your favourite coffee recipe as you mentioned Cappuccino. Then you also have 3 settings on the milk carafe to change the level of froth you want.
Like all of our Fully auto machines they are easy to clean and the machine tells you when to empty the grounds container.
Also here is the link to the Dinamica Plus so you can see the machine.

Please dont hesitate to ask more questions.
Thank you
.Thank you Cheryl ! I’ll look at the link and get back to you if i still have questions.
Thanks again,

Hi,
We have a De Longhi Magnifica S coffee machine which we have had for approx 10 years and lately it has stopped frothing milk and also struggles to rinse hot water after. This seems to indicate that there may be a blockage. Is there somewhere where I can go to clear the blockage if this is the reason for the problem.
Also the tray keeps coming up with a message saying empty grounds container even though the container has only a few small grains. Perhaps the 2 problems are connected. Can you provide some suggestion as we love our cappuccinos and have had a great run with the machine. iF we cant sort the problem out we may need to replace it with a new de Longhi model.
