Really good machine
The machine makes really good coffee. However, I do not use Nespresso original pods, I don't like that coffee.
I only buy coffee and tea pods at [link removed]. Their coffee is the authentic Italian espresso. The only negative side of this machine is the noise, very noisy, especially if you like to drink coffee (or tea, like I do) early in the morning while your wife is sleeping.

It's good at the start and started leaking with a year
It was good for a few months. Loving it but as it hits 8th months it started leaking so have to send back to nespresso to repair. Lucky it's still under warranty so its free. The customer service provided was great! Turn around time for the repair is about a week and a loan machine was provided too.

Don't waste your money on toy coffee makers
I bought the Delonghi Pixie (EN125SPlus) on offer using my QF points. Based on what my wife claimed was good strong coffee she tasted at a shop demo in the city. Being a manual expresso machine user, I was eager to have the best of both worlds the Pixie promised - ie good strong coffee without messy grounds to dispose; all in a small form factor.
After changing from the factory default 40ml volume for expresso to 30, 20 and 10ml volumes, I still wasn't able to get coffee that didn't taste like the cr*p brown water served up as "coffee" in th...Read more
e US (lived in that coffee hell for 5 years). Sadly, I don't think the advertised "19 bar" pressure (more than the 15 bar in my humble manual machine) made any difference to the fact that you can't get strong coffee from a tiny ant hill of coffee powder. So I'm left with what to do with a brand new sexy toy coffee maker - will probably sell it as I love drinking real coffee not dreaming of it. Sexy small form factor backed by slick marketing Incapable of making decent coffee not tasting like brown waterSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

One summer and winter of happiness
I purchased one of these as a gift for my partner some years ago. At the time of purchase the only ready source of capsules was Nespresso on line.
The capsules were expensive. That wasn't ever a deal breaker but not being able to run down the street and buy more when we ran out was annoying, as was waiting for delivery when ordered online. The availability of 3rd party capsules in Australia did make a difference in terms of cost but having said that, it needs to be recognised that the quality of the end product from all capsules is never sa...Read more
me as fresh coffee made on a good conventional machine in the hands of someone competent. You compromise some of the quality in order to enjoy the convenience, that's just the way it is. We had no issues with the machine for about eighteen months, we cleaned it regularly and it continued to produce drinkable coffee on demand. The frother worked brilliantly. The first issue was when the frother stopped heating the milk. That was overcome by buying a perfectly serviceable frother for 29 dollars at Aldi....so business went on as usual. By the end of the second year the machine was leaking into the drip tray and filling that to overflowing after a few cups of coffee....that was annoying as well, to the point where we replaced the thing with an Aldi Nespressi - not much difference in the coffee "quality" in either system and it has proven to reliable. The coffee is cheaper, you get sixteen capsules for around six dollars and a good selection of strengths and blends. The big difference is in the initial purchase price of the machines. The Aldi machine sells for around 80 dollars, the Pixie cost me well over 200 dollars with frother when I bought it. Given the fact that Pixie had a just over two year life span for us I wouldn't rate it as value for money. The Aldi machine is into it's third year without an issue.Similar opinion? It's quite good for such a smal machine
We've only ever had one coffee machine so we couldn't really compare but by itself, since using it for almost two years now (although we only use it during weekends), we're quite happy with the coffee it churns out every weekend. We still prefer barista-brewed coffee, but this gets us very close for a quarter of the money spent. In fact, it's better than some not-so-good barista made coffee out there! Nevertheless, the aerocino (milk frother) did not last as long. Although it still does warm up the milk, some burnt marks always remain at the bottom of the cannister and this apparently is quite a common problem from what we hear from our friends.

Purchased one and still going strong......but
Machine has been great, made I don't know how many cups of coffee, we usually have at least one a day, but at 75 cents a pod, we don't go overboard. BUT, now the capsules are coming out miss-shaped after being used, and sometimes I need to take them out and replace them in the unit for the coffee to come out. They look like they have been sucked dry by a vacuum. Weird.
But all in all, the Pixie has been great.
Anyone suffering with this problem ??????

Really Good Coffee
Very happy with this nespresso machine I purchased from Harvey Norman, makes almost perfect coffee. Price reasonable, only issue is it makes a minor high pitched sound when not in use. Easy to refill and clean. I use a separate Breville milk frother which is awesome. Highly recommend this coffee machine.

Compact, consistent but noisy!
I was gifted the Delonghi Nespresso Pixie dots with milk frother for Christmas. I am not a coffee addict but enjoy one in the morning. This saves so much money and time on the weekend, lining up at the coffee stand at the farmers market at Orange Grove, only to have to pay $4.50 for a flat white for burnt coffee and quarter of the cup is filled with froth, when it's meant to be a flat white! The pixie is consistent. Though quite noisy for such a little machine. They got the size right, it is compact and doesn't take up much bench space, bu...Read more
t Nespresso or Delonghi need to invest in R&D to reduce noise. Frother had problems warming milk and the lid keeps on popping up due to the steam and pressure. Have to hold lid down, which I am sure is not a design feather.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good while it lasts.
The motor burnt out after 3 years of moderate use averaging 1 cup a day except when I had visitors.
Customer service wanted to charge me $75 as the warranty was for two years. My question is "surely the expected life is more than 3 years". I'll be contacting consumer affairs.

Gone bonkers
My DeLonghi Pixi Capsule machine worked well for a couple of years, but the timing mechanism on the pump started to play up on the "Long black" setting. I didn't worry as I merely hit the "Short Black" a couple of times, but now the whole blooming thing is kaput.
When working, it was a better machine than the newer model (made by Breville??) that I bought my partner.
Not sure if the cost of repairs would be worth it now.Pity as it made a reasonably decent cup of coffee.--three and a half stars, but now, sod all stars!.

Perfect, until the milk frother went out of order after 23 months
The machine itself is perfect for my needs. After 23 months of everyday use, the milk frother got out of order. I called Nespresso and they have sent me a new milk frother. Will recommend to a friend.

Aeroccino 3 Has High Failure Rate
Despite known issues and a redesign to hopefully fix it - Nespresso will not repair any existing Aerocicino 3's and expect customers to buy another outright even if it is only slightly outside warranty. Their policy is I suspect a contravention of Australian Consumer Law.

Shocking Product Support
Is it any good at making coffee? Who knows?
I received my machine with obvious condition issues (it looked open box/refurbished) and called their support line which is closed outside the posted hours. So I used the online contact form which promised a quick response. After 2 days (and counting) wait, I phoned again and after a long hold, spoke with a support person.
She gave me some double talk and provided info that was plainly not accurate. Then before I could say anything, she forwarded me to Nespresso. I'm usually pretty good at inter...Read more
vening in the call-forwarding run-around, but she was darn good. Not surprisingly, Nespresso don't make the machine and couldn't help with my problems. By this time I was becoming annoyed and I apologised to the Nespresso rep for being so. His response was "No problem, I deal with it all day, DeLonghi forward everyone through to us". My retailer told me I'd received the "best one" of the poor condition Pixie's they had received from DeLonghi. I was sceptical, but less so now...2 comments

I love it!
I love George (I named my coffee machine). I don't care what the coffee snobs say, this is as fast as instant & about a billion times better! Sure, I could stuff about with a machine that costs what I paid for my car & make an amazing coffee, but I don't have an hour every morning to do that!
from getting out of bed to drinking my coffee takes about 3 minutes. I'm happy, my children are happy & anyone who has to deal with me through the the day are happy!
I would have given it 5 stars if they offered fair trade coffee. I also found some cool re-uses for the pods & my garden loves the lees!

Does everything required of it.
We have been using a conventional coffee machine for over 15 years. Our most recent semi automatic Breville managed to break down on average every 7 or 8 months. Result was a bill for $80. each time. We had sampled coffee from a number of capsule machines and the end result was fairly ordinary coffee. I recently changed jobs and was offered a coffee from a Nespresso machine. At almost the same time, our Breville semi auto machine decided to go onstrike again. We are now the proud owners of a Delonghi Citiz Nespresso machine. I am yet to sample ...Read more
a blend from the many available that we do not enjoy. Whilst the cost of capsules can be a bit high, there is no waist. each capsule is consistant with the previous one. There is no mess. Anyone can use the machine. We are very happy converts. Well done Nespresso. Ease of use. Great service and support from Nespresso. Great coffee every time.Similar opinion? Handy little machine
I bought the Pixie to use when I travel as it's compact and light and beats instant coffee at a motel! I use the Lattissima at home and love both machines. Pixie is simple to use and clean. The frother is excellent. Good solid machine that makes a great coffee.

Not bad
Bought it for my wife's xmas present. So far has done the trick. The coffee tastes great, but its fairly noisy. The online store is a bit hard to navigate, but once you get used to it, its alright. Definitely a good way to have a quick coffee before work.
Great tasting coffee
Noisy

Love It too!
We have had our Pixie for a few weeks and we love it. Easy to use and quick to make good coffee. Quite easy to clean by putting cold water in milk Frother as soon as we have finished using it. I have to use Lactose Free milk and have no problems with the way it handles the milk. We are going through our pods quite fast. k.
Easy to use and quick to make good coffee
Milk frother only takes enough for one cup a larger one to make two cups would be great. Pods are a bit expensive compared to other brands.

Love, love, love it!
I have had this machine for a few years now, and it is my favourite kitchen appliance, use it daily, never had a problem, can't live without it. There are many cheaper versions on the market that probably work just as well but I was not prepared to give up much bench space for an electrical appliance, this is the smallest and most compact on the market. The Nespresso pods are expensive but there are other brands designed to fit this machine at a lower price from the supermarket.
No mess, rinse & drain.
Expensive
