Highly Recommend. So pleased I bought one.
V6 Cord-freeI had been recommended by a friend to buy a Dyson cordless. I was always hesitant because of the cost. But must say has been the best purchase. It is such as great machine, my husband and son love it also because it is easy to use just clip it off the charger and away you go. I have mostly wooden floors and tiles. It always surprises me when I see just how much dust has been collected in the housing. Great suction. Would highly recommend.
Love the fact that its easy to run and light. Even the grandkids love to use it.
V6 Cord-freeWe use it on laminate and rugs. Pick up amazing best suction in a vacuum I ever had. Easy to empty and no replacement of filters. Love using it no matter how small ir big the mess is.

I prefer using this than dragging out the plug in Dyson for a quick clean.
When I bought it from Ebay it also came with a cleaning kit as well.

V6 Cord-freeBrought this Dyson vacuum. It’s the best vacuum ever! I don’t think people realise how good a Dyson is until they own one. Dyson are expensive but worth every dollar.
So light weight easy to handle. The battery lasts ages. I can vacuum my kitchen, lounge room, 3 bedrooms all in one go no need to stop & recharge. Cleaning the fittings are also easier than most vacuums too.

I was a bit sceptical initially - my main concern was the battery life and strength of suction of such a small (compared to cord vacuums) machine and engine. All scepticism was blown away after the first couple of uses. Battery life on normal suction mode is roughly 30 minutes - on boost mode roughly 20 minutes. We also use the attachments a lot which I find extremely useful for different surfaces or hard to reach dirt. Overall we are extremely satisfied with this product and would place this one within my top 3 best buys for our household.

V6 Cord-freeI have injured my shoulder and couldn’t lift heavy vacuum cleaner. This stick vacuum cleaner is light and efficient. It doesn’t run for more than 10 minutes continually and this is wonderful for me, it gives me a limit of time so I have to be efficient and not wasting too much time and energy on this task.

I was ecoevyyo pay for a new part as my Dyson is well out of warranty. I was blown away when they sent me a new battery part at no cost. What s great company. I love my Dyson even more now
Handy for quick whip around.
V6 Cord-freeWe have hard surface flooring with rugs. The spinning head jams on mars which isn’t ideal. Tends to flick any slightly larger debris away instead of sucking it up. Bit Flossie to empty the dust canister. Noisy and battery doesn’t last very long. I have read people staying they are a game changer in their lives and I would disagree. Handy for whip around but doesn’t replace my regular vacuum.

Can't believe I'm a little disappointed
V6 Cord-freeI've had 5 Dyson vacuums over the years and have ALWAYS been more than thrilled with my purchase. This time, not so much. I don't know if I just got a dud or if this model just isn't that great. Anyway, my main gripe is with the battery life. My older model dyson cordless vacuums would hold there charge in between uses but this one just doesn't. It dies very quickly even when it hasn't been in use much at all. Then I charge it up and expect it to be ready to go next time I vacuum, but alas, again the battery dies. Not very happy at all for a Dyson I expected better.
Thanks for that advise Dyson Team. I'll keep is on charge and be in touch if the battery charge doesn't improve.

Dysons are expensive and if you have a small house or won't be using it a lot that is a consideration but otherwise you will get your moneys worth I think

Good Handy Vacuum... when it works.
V6 Cord-freeThis vacuum is great when cleaning up small bits 'n' pieces around the house but... up until about a month or two ago the vac would die after about 30 seconds. It would be on charge for days sometimes but the same problem occurs. I have searched the internet for solutions and have found this to be a very common problem with these vacuums. For the amount us consumers pay for these units I would expect a bit more quality from Dyson. Since this is under Dyson's two year guarantee I have sent an email explaining this, now to wait for their reply.

V6 Cord-freeWe have a Dyson Dc29 we purchased about 10 years ago, great machine but a little heavy for the wife so when the V6 came out we thought great the perfect vacuum cleaner for light vacuuming jobs and it was for about 2 years until it started playing up - only run for 30 secs or so then stopping with the lights flashing blue (no power, charge battery) but the machine had been on charge for days sometimes . Ok i thought we had a battery problem so we checked online for a new battery and came across MANY people having the same problem and replacing the battery did not fix it and most were around the 2 years or older (just out of warranty) Not long ago i found that if i put it back on the stand for a minute or so it would run for the full 20 mins, this worked most of the time but not every time which told me the problem was most likely NOT the battery. Now the machine stops after the 30 secs most of the time and if i put it back on the charging stand it only runs for the 30 secs again. Even if the machine is repaired by Dyson there is no guarantee it will keep working - one review on here Dyson repaired the vac under warranty and when it stopped working again 4 months later it was sent back to them and the customer was told service would ring them before going ahead with the repair to get the customers ok on the repair cost, SO Dyson do not put warranty on their own repairs ??????? Got jack of it playing up so we got a cheap stick vacuum cleaner this time, about 1/4 of the price we payed for the V6 and even if it is not quite as powerful as the V6 it does the job !!!!! The V6 was always well cared for, we live in a small house with bare floors and short carpet and no animals so the V6 had an easy life. After reading how many people are having problems and the after sales service they are getting from Dyson I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING made by Dyson again.

Early days.. but seems really good
V6 Cord-freeI only purchased this a few weeks ago but so far it has performed above my expectations. We've mainly used it with the mechanical head and carpet and lino and it has really good suction and doesn't seem to have a problem with larger bits of food. The low battery life doesn't worry me because I am using it do quick clean ups after meals (2 young kids!) and it is more than fit for purpose. Just don't get it you want to do a whole large house with it. All in all very happy so far, would recommend particularly if you can get it on special for around $250.

V6 Cord-freeThis vaccum is just so easy to maneuver. I love it's suction power I barely use the max power as the normal power is enough. Only downside is that the battery runs out pretty quickly but every thing else is great.
Perfect easy to use hand stick vacuum
V6 Cord-freeI have 2 bedrooms apartment and this hand stick vacuum is perfect for me.
Bought it when it was on discount early in May 2022 and I have never found any problem in using it.
The only drawback is to properly clean the bin but cannot complaint for the price I am paying.
Very Powerful for a cordless
V6 Cord-freeI Guess the brand hype is real, this thing is super powerful and does an amazing job of picking up inground dirt and hair I couldn't even see. My Apartment is mostly carpeted, and that's where this thing shines. According to the information booklet at full charge it only lasts about 8 minutes or so nonstop in boost mode, but unless you're holding the trigger down nonstop the combined length of your vacuum shouldn't take more than that anyway.
The respective parts and accessories are very easy to snap on and put together.

V6 Cord-freeThis dyson V6 is a great cordless sick vacuum!
It has 2 suction mode which both work very well.
Apon first using this vacuum i was shock how much dust this picks up from the carpet, it shown me that the old vacuum was not cleaning my carpet properly nor deaply.
The attactments are very handy to make getting to the hard to vacuum spots easier plus this vacuum is light weight i can do the ceeling and tops of my walls and picture frames.
It take about 3.5 hours to charge and get just over 20 minutes vacuum time on normal setting (6 - 10 minutes on high power setting) which is great for a good sized 2 bedroom appartment.
Would recomment this vacuum.
If this is what devices with batteries are like, we're in a lot of trouble!
V6 Cord-freeI purchased this vacuum cleaner about 4 years ago and when I first used it I was suitably impressed by it's suction and ease of use. Over the years however, I have found this device to be a complete waste of time and subsequently a very costly dud. Sure it will suction up gunk on the floor of my car, but only for about 20 minutes (if you turn on the max button about 10 minutes). Heaven help using something like this if you had a larger house, you may be able to get the walk in robe floor done before it needs recharging.

V6 Cord-freeThis Dyson Cordless Vaccum has been great to use. Has a couple of issues though. When emptying the dust carrier you need to use a utensil to remove the fluff as it becomes tangled & doesn’t want to budge. Also battery life is terrible & needs many hours charging.

V6 Cord-freeI use the Dyson V6 on ceramic tiles, carpet and rugs. It's so easy to use and effective even with small children mess and cat hair. It's so convenient to store and use rather than getting out the big vacuum cleaner, which I no longer use at all. It's great for a quick clean up after the kids have eaten or brought grass and dirt in from outside. I specifically wanted a convenient stick vacuum and I haven't been disappointed. Has enough power to go over the whole house.

V6 Cord-freeI use this vaccum on carpet and timber flooring and it the fasted way to get my vacuuming done as I don’t have to pull around a heavy machine attached to a chord. Love that about this vaccum.
2 reasons why I haven’t scored it a 5 star...its suction isn’t the best, it struggles to pick up slightly bigger particles. Plus, when emptying out the dust it doesn’t empty properly so you have to stick your fingers in to get the rest out..if your fingers can fit in the tight gap. Mine can’t so I have to use a stick or paper to get the rest of the dirt out which is very annoying and messy

Need a whole day to vacuum a four bedroom home as it needs to be charged every five minutes and don’t get me started on how long it takes to charge!

To confirm, your V6 should achieve a run time of 6 minutes on max, or on normal mode, a run time of 16-17 minutes with a motorised floor tool attached, or 20 minutes without. Standard out of the box, your machine will be on Max mode. To change to normal mode for the longer run time, while the machine is running with your finger on the trigger, press and release the "Max" button on the back of the machine. The "Max" button light will turn off and you will hear the machine change tone to indicate it is now running in normal mode. Bad for pets, Bad connection to the motors at bottom
V6 Cord-freeThis vacuum sucks, hardly picks up dirt, motors at the bottom always stops working and then when you hold the button to make it work down it just goes on and off picking up no dirt. Fur from pets builds up in it very quickly and battery time is a minimum. If you have pets dont buy it, if you have a queenslander with wooden floors that arent perfectly flat dont buy it. Biggest pain in the head.

Two dysons that don’t work
V6 Cord-freeWe’ve had nothing but trouble with our cordless Dyson. Constantly clogging, battery dying, can’t even vacuum up hair. This is now our second one (same kind, was given to us), and it has the same problems. Can’t even spot vacuum a rug without it getting clogged. Never buying this brand again, I’ll be getting the $100 Kmart version.

V6 Cord-freeI've only just purchased this and already love it. It's light easy to use gets into tight spots and cleans like nothing I've ever experienced.
I have hard floors and it just sucks up the dust it's amazing. One room with old carpet came up beautifully and now looks better than ever.
Not as good as I expected from DYSON
V6 Cord-freeI have mostly polished timber flooring with carpeted bedrooms and a large thick pile mat in the livingroom.
This vacuum just doesn't cut it in my opinion. While it does ok on the smooth surfaces it lacks when it comes to the thick pile. I also tried it on the car floor and it was hopeless!!!
I very much doubt I'd buy another DYSON vacuum despite having DYSON vacuums for the past 15 years.
The bigball pet is away being fixed and was purchased the same time as this one.

V6 Cord-freeI been using it on floor board, carpet, upholstery. Suction is not as strong as the cord model with the power head, however it is more than efficient to keep the floor clean daily. After three year, the battery now lasts for about 15 mins which is fine with me. Maneuvering the hand-held for 15 min with the battery block can be tiring.
