Replacement of damaged shoes
Online storeI had a good pair of Ecco Gortex hiking shoes, although bought sometime ago,, hadn’t been worn much. The body and soles of shoes were in excellent condition. After wearing them for a short period last week, I looked down and noticed one shoe has come apart at the join of sole to shoe. Then I looked at the other shoe and the same thing had happened. I took them to Ecco Bondi Junction to see if I could have them repaired but was told it wasn’t possible. The Assistant referred the matter further. Today I received a lovely email from Michele/Customer Service, who told me to choose a similar pair/price online and Ecco will send a replacement pair to me. I really appreciate this unexpected goodwill.

Ecco ShoesI recently reported a problem with the soles that suddenly disintegrated on a pair of dress shoes.
I was advised by Michele from ECCO Australia Customer Service that they would be replaced immediately at no cost to me.
They arrived today and I am most impressed with the service I received.

After about 10 months part of the sole was coming apart and I notified Ecco about how I might fix it. They asked me to return the shoes to them and then offered to replace them with a new shoe. No fuss and great service.

Great Customer Service Indeed!
Physical storeHi, I had an issue with the soles of an older pair of Ecco walking shoes which do not usually get much use, only for special occasions when I need a pair of smart shoes. last month after attending a funeral I found the heels were splitting and falling apart when I went to take off the shoes, It appears that the rubber was not suffering from wear but actually disintegrating. I nearly put m in the rubbish bin and decided to take them into the shop, not expecting a refund, but just to show the staff, so I was very pleasantly surprised to receive an email from ECCO offering me a new pair in exchange, this not what you would find at other shops. I have also found the staff very friendly all the way thru the process.

They solved my problem promptly and replaced with new pair of shoes and again Ecco win a customer forever. Love to recommend Ecco to everyone and love the shoes as well.

Amazing customer service
Ecco ShoesI only emailed Ecco to let them know about the heels of my sandals disintegrating. They replied immediately inviting me to post them for inspection. Then offered me a replacement pair! I wasn't expecting such a prompt response and I wasn't expecting a new pair.

Physical storeI've been buying Ecco shoes for years because of the craftsmanship in their shoes. I had one pair of sandals for two years when the buckle snapped. I took them back to the store to see if I could get the buckle replaced. The store assessed them, and I was told that they would recycle my old pair into new ones and give me a replacement pair. I wasn't expecting this level of customer service and was pleasantly surprised. I am happy that they were able to recycle my old shoes rather than just throw them away.

Initially I was told it was normal wear and tear which was not included under warranty. I sought a review and which they were very happy to do so I returned my shoes for assessment. Online storeI have worn ECCO shoes and sandals for more than 2 decades. First when I was working in a gift shop and was lifting and carrying heavy boxes and of course on my feet much of the day. I had severe pain in my right heel and a physiotherapist said ECCO lace up shoes would be of great benefit. They were and I have worn ECCO footwear ever since.
Recently a pair of shoes I had had for some years but worn very little developed faults in both soles. The pair was sent to Customer Service to examine and their response has been both quick, professional and most generous.

Ecco ShoesFirst pair: brown lace-ups. Very comfortable. Wore them to travel Canberra-London, only to arrive at Heathrow Airport with rapidly disintegrating soles. Highly inconvenient.
Second pair: open sandals. Wore them this week, only to find the disintegrated sole scattered across the restaurant floor. Embarrassing and inconvenient.
Ecco shoes are not cheap, so why is the quality so poor? This issue has been mentioned by many other reviewers, but there is no explanation from Ecco as to whether this problem has actually been fixed. Without it, I will never risk buying Ecco shoes again.

Extraordinary Customer Service!
Ecco ShoesMy one pair of dressy shoes were a few years old and hadn't been worn for some time (mainly because of covid) but when worn to a funeral the soles disintegrated, leaving bits of black rubber on the floor. I contacted ECCO customer service explaining that I wasn't expecting a refund but wondering whether the shoes could possibly be repaired. The response was quick and most helpful, and after posting the shoes (in their original box) for assessment (free of charge), I was offered a replacement pair of similar style and cost, at no charge. I've not ever known such generous and helpful customer service, and of course am very happy with this arrangement.

Online storeI have been an Ecco customer for decades. That will not continue. Shoe quality continues to decline. Sizing is also now a lottery.
No idea why this is relevant “ECCO offers a 12 month warranty against manufacturing fault however we have offered assessment as goodwill to ensure you have received fair wear and longevity from your item.” Shoes were less than 12 months old.
Bought 2 pairs. Have now had to return both due to manufacturing fault.

Online storeA few months ago I contacted Ecco customer service because the sole of my previous Ecco shoes was disintegrating (not due to usage as I kept them in a box). They quickly escalated my case (I didn't have my purchase ticket as I bought them a few years ago) and after sending the boots back for an assessment they agreed to replace them. I ordered a new pair of boots (similar model as I had before) and they arrived shortly.
No need to say that the new pair was comfortable from day one as I'm a big fan of this brand for its excellence in manufacturing. I highly recommend Ecco shoes for the quality of their products and, after this experience, the quality of their customer service.

Online storeI have owned and worn Ecco golf shoes for about a decade now. I play a lot of golf but these shoes just stand the test of time and i usually replace them because of asthetics more so then wearing them out. I have had no issues with them until recently where a pair i wear leass frequently had an issue where the soul and upper came apart and they were outside the warranty period but had hardly been worn. I sent them back to Ecco and they agreed to replace them with a brand new pair at their cost. This is one more reason why i will never wear another brand of golf shoe. Great customer service and you have me for life!

Terrible slip on casual mens shoes
Physical storeI have the great displeasure of purchasing several pairs of Ecco slip on casual shoes from the mosman Ecco shop. Each pair were faulty in that the stitching unravelled around the toes within a very short time. The Mosman store manager was always rude and unhelpful when I questioned the short life of the shoes and finally the last pair I purchased lasted a couple of weeks over 12 months since purchase. Ecco told me the shoes were over 4 years old (3) when purchased and refused to replace them or refund the $268 purchase price. I will never buy Ecco shoes again and will go back to reebok which are always reliable.

Wear, tear and lack of care however is not provisioned for as part of that warranty. The shoes you presented for assessment had a small tear on the upper and following assessment, our warranty team concluded no manufacturing error was present. As such, we were unable to offer a replacement/refund. Try as we might, we cannot accommodate every request made of us and we stand by the fact fair assessment has been actioned. Online storeMy Biom c-trail shoes started to wear/rub through and were not waterproof anymore. I bought them 14 months ago. I have to say, they were the best hiking shoes i ever wore. Unfortunately, no good anymore in wet weather. So I emailed ecco customer service on the 28.10.22. I was asked to send some photos, then asked to return the shoes. They were sent on the 31.10. and received by them on the 4.11. I didn't ask for a refund or replacement, just wanted to get rid of my disappointment. today is the 11.11.22 and i received a replacement . It doesn't get any better, apart from..i had another reason to order a few more shoes... BIG thanks to ECCO customer service.

Ecco ShoesI notified Ecco Australia Customer Service about the unfortunate early deterioration of the soles of my Yak Leather Gore-Tex shoes. I also attached photos. As the shoes were out of warranty, I only requested advice on how to arrange repair of the soles. Ecco replied by sending me a post-free code to return the shoes for their inspection. Soon after I was happy and surprised to receive their offer of a new pair of Ecco shoes of my choice up to the same value. Thank you Ecco. I'm now a true believer! My new ECCO ZIPFLEX in Night Sky finish are so comfortable and look super cool. Ecco are clearly concerned about their reputation and they value their customers.

I contacted customer care in Sydney and in all aspects of the process I received excellent service - good clear communication from sympathetic staff who outlined policies and procedures. The matter was resolved in my favour within 10 days from first contact. Ecco Shoes are amazingly comfortable and the service in stores and at a customer support level is impeccable.
