I have the same problem, won't charge and only lasts 5-10 seconds then cuts out while vaccuming.

What does your r&d department say?
Is it the lithium battery failing to hold any charge after 1-2 years?

Replace the battery but it may need soldering skills. Battery cells can be found almost everywhere also see your model some may have 18650 lithium ion battery or similar before buy check details on your. Like voltage and mah. Type etc.. easy job on soldering.

Our unit quit after using it one day. Took it completely apart; full of hair & lint all up in the motor & circuitboard area. Cleaned it thoroughly & reassembled it. Put it on the charger stand; blue light comes on for about 3-4 seconds, then goes out. Checked the voltage from the charger base - 14.3 VDC, all they way up to the contacts on the stand. Opened up the hand-held unit again & checked both batteries - they read almost 4VDC. Unit won't run or charge. Any ideas???????

Can I use a non generic battery charger?

It comes with a charger.
I am aware of this. The problem is the charger sparked and blew itself out of the power point and is not working but by trying a charger from another cleaner of same model, my machine still charged and worked so now am looking to buy another charger. As I live in a very remote area I thought I might have a better chance of getting a non generic charger than the brand name one.

We have the Electrolux Ergorapido Lithium 2in1. Like the product except that the 4 lights will turn on for about 2 seconds when using the machine then turn off. This problem is continual. It is the ZB3010. How can this be fixed please? as the appliance is otherwise perfect.
