Good printer but the ink!

published

Print quality is great both in colour and monochrome, set up is super easy and I'm not IT. Touch screen is great and the printer is easy to use. My only issue is the ink. This thing goes through a lot of ink. I had a brother previously and did not seem to use so much ink.

Purchased in February 2021 at Harvey Norman Retail Stores - Electronics for A$448.00.

Print quality not great

published

This is a great A3 size printer. It connects well by Ethernet or WiFi. It scans and prints with ease. It prints really fast. However the print quality is not great, even if you slow the print speed down and set the quality high. I also use genuine Epson ink.

Purchased in October 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for A$299.00.

Constantly disconnecting itself from wi-fi, thirsty on ink like no other printer

published

The result is good when it decides to print, but it's incredibly temperamental. I've used it four times so far: twice I've had to delete and re-add it to get it to recognise my laptop via wi-fi, and three times it has insisted on having the print nozzles cleaned. I shudder to think how much this is going to cost in ink. Overall, not recommended.

Purchased in June 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for A$349.00.

Perfect if you know how to deal with

published

This Printer is fantastic, It's very good when you know how to deal with.
As it has a lot of features for some people it may looks complected but for the other who used to deal with the Multi-function it's perfect
Especially with the double sided scanning and printing and the smart picking the right paper size.
Ink price is the week point. but for me I'm depending on the compatible ink, very cheap doing the purpose.

Date PurchasedJun 2018

We recently bought the WF-7720 and it's drinking ink like nothing else!!! This is proving to be an expensive printer, and we are thinking something must be wrong with it. 10 days use (with minimal printing) and have to replace the blue cartridge already. Help!!! Our last workforce lasted for 3 years and was nothing like this amount of ink. We were so happy with our last Epson, but this one is expensive thus far. Hopefully Epson might give some advice.
