Love the unit when it works but almost every time the element trips the power in the house and can’t get charcoal going.
Purchased just over 18months from Bunnings
I believe something at this price point should last longer than this considering it’s a known problem.

Hi was given the Evedure for a 50th birthday present, and love the look and the way it cooks. I am however disappointed with the quality . I have now used the bbq twice, first was a boned leg of lamb and second roast chicken.
The issues are similar to other peoples post, There is a black enamel insert that holds the coals, this is already showing corrosion an flaking. There is a small locating groove near the skewer handle that in design is a weak point, this has allowed the skewer rod to bend quite easily without misuse or overweighti...

I was keen to get a charcoal BBQ, the electric start and built in rotisserie, along with the small foot print, had me sold. The electric start isn’t worth the premium, yes it lights the coal in 7 mins, but you can’t start cooking anything for 30 mins so what’s the point, it’s probabl not that hard to light coal the usual way. The rotisserie has a weight limit before it struggles to turn, but the bigger issue is the flare ups, you need a drip tray which blocks direct heat onto the meat. This is by far the easiest to use and less messy of any charcoal bbq system ive used. Apart from the electric starter system it looks great and has an awesome rotisserie. I use my fusion bbq 1-2 times a week now mostly cooking chickens and kebabs. Once had a problem after an accident while moving house and had to get a spare part, no problems at all. infact they went out of there way to help, not used to that these days. Anyhow highly recommended to anyone who wants an easier and cleaner way of doing charcoal cooking.
