Does this model have problems with cleaning out the lint filter? I’ve heard that the WH7560P2 can be difficult to access and clean the lint filter.

The pump filter located at the bottom front of machine was very difficult for me to open. I thought I was going to break it when I first opened it as it said to use a coin and this made the front flex quite a bit. I found it much harder than my previous front loader but I really love this machine.

When I press start, I hear a clicking noise then the machine says Door Open...I’ve opened and close the door, turned the washing on and off and same at the power point, the door appears and sounds closed, does anyone know what’s wrong with the machine?

My machine is making noise and vibrating at the end of the cycle, when spinning... I am not sure if it's the load imbalance or something else? If load is less than the required weight of the particular cycle will it make noise? And what will happen if load size is more than the particular weight of the cycle?

I haven't had any noise problems apart from the noisy water inlet. I've only had one other issue with one load and from memory I think it was just a big load and it had problems balancing it out to spin, in the end I took the water logged load out and just hung it out on the line... it dried eventually. Fisher & Paykel have a product help website, it may be worthwhile checking that out.

This problem usually occurs when shocks (between drum and base of machine) are worn out (same as a car vibrates on rough road)
Replace shocks and machine will work again.

I don’t think my machine is using enough water. My clothes are just soggy clothes flopping around in the machine not even enough water to see it over the bottom of the door. I put an extra rinse on and then with towels I do two extra washes and they dry stiff. I’m using less than half the recommended amount of detergent. Any ideas?

My Machine has stopped working mid cycle with clean filter indicator showing. I have opened the filter twice to clean it all the water has rushed out all over the floor twice. I have turned the machine back on but the clean filter lights are still showing..... what do I do?

Pull filter out, then using a (bright) torch, shine a light on the impeller.
Is there anything (hairband etc, coin, bobbypin) wrapped around the impeller?
Impeller should rotate without hitting anything.

If it disappears between the inner and outer drum, it will get caught in the drain pump filter.

My power went off in the middle of a cycle in my front loading wash smart and now it shows 'door locked' and the START PAUSE button is flashing but I can't open the door or start the wash again. The key lock light is off.
Can anyone suggest how I can reset the machine, open the door and start the cycle again?

Turn the electrical power off, wait 1 minute, then open the door. Failing that turn power on and reset program to spin, press the start button.

Our F&P Quicksmart is only 3 days old. It wont spin sheets. Fine with clothes on "everyday" cycle but wont spin sheets on any cycle. It just slows down and the timer stops. Did we get a lemon?! Not overloaded and machine is level.

Can I add a garment to my load with this machine??, Iv just brought it and its on order. Today I was looking in the functions of my front loader and noticed that it can't add a garment.. The salesmans told me I can still do it even though it's not an add garment button, you press pause and wait 90 seconds... is this the truth or not?

I just did my first drum clean. Suds nightmare. First the drum filled with suds, & then suds all over the floor...no idea where they leaked from. All this & I only used one scoop of powder & not the recommended two. I've had nothing but over suddsing problems. I have tried Omo liquid for front loaders, Biozet liquid high efficiency for front loader, & Bosistos powder for front loader. Using well below the recommended dosage, & it's just suds city. Had the tech out for a visit & he had no clue. I have looked everywhere for a detergent that is specifically for front loaders but my local supermarkets tell me that all their product is now dual purpose & marked accordingly. Help..... what should I try??

Ok i get that. It may be the pump filter as that can be a issue as well if its blocked it'wont drain properly and it will cause oversudsing. Instructions are in your user guide if you have one!
omo powder for front loaders.
try 3, 4 quick washes with no powder til suds gone.
Using too much powder can cause build up of residue in tub.
try 1 teaspoon in a wash ( its connncentraaate, remember)

It was a brand new machine so I was horrified.
Luckily, I saw a "handy hints" segment on tv that recommended using 1/8 of our current products recommend amounts.
It seems to have solved my problem.

Does the tub move freely up and down? yes, then bolts are removed.
there are 3 - 4 large bolts, you cannot miss them.
