Fisher & Paykel CleanSmart WL1068P1 (10kg)

This machine has a the bane of my existence since I bought it. It has ruined all my clothes and chews everything.
It is always out of balance, and it actually leaves the clothes filthy after a wash. Washing anything large or bulky is a no no. they come out disgusting, even after completing a bowl clean. Makes no difference. This machine should be recalled and discontinued.

Bought my F&P 10kg Cleansmart machine in July 2018 and was happy with it until Jan 2020 when i had to get the stabilisers replaced, never had to do that before on any machine but thankfully this was under warranty. Feb 2021 it stops working, it won't run the water (hot or cold) and after a few seconds starts beeping and flashing 50 (error msg) on the screen, faulty hot water solenoid apparently. Took a few weeks to get the part and not covered under warranty. 21st Jan 2022 and guess what, the exact same thing. Put a load of clothes in the wash...

Clothes still come out soaking wet. Often have to put spin cycle on after a load of washing finishes.
Water smells as it comes out cold section.. high efficiency off is not enough water to wash large load or bulky items and u can't change water level to a level you want. Wouldn't even sell this 2nd hand to someone.

Obviously no quality control during manufacture.
Machine would leave clothes dirtier than when they went in.
Constantly going out of Balance
Decided to replace the suspension rods. only to discover that one of the screw retaining brackets had not been installed during manufacture and there was only one retaining spring how could it possibly centre the bowl no wonder there are problems.

If you like washing without water, seriously, well this washing machine is for all the grubby people in the world. I want my money back or it replaced. I am ready to email A Current Affair. I purchased this from The Good Guys at Penrith, NSW. I hand wash with buckets throughout my home. My mother takes all my bigger items to her house for me. This machine cost me the bomb! What idiot passed this washing machine? Obviously someone who doesn’t use it, because it is un usable. No water, bangs around loudly and stops. No one told me about the no water issue for starters from The Good Guys. I asked for a big washing machine because I have a family of 6 and wash weekly for a childcare centre. You can imagine how that’s going.

I have a family of four with two sons that are tradesmen. I wash regular clothes & towels. The machine constantly stops when spinning and goes off balance. I have to rearrange the load, sometimes up to EIGHT times before it will spin my clothes. It is so frustrating . You cannot adjust the water level and there is never enough water in the cycle. I thought my 10kg Cleansmart was going to be a dream, but it has been a nightmare. My husband is sick of me complaining about it over the last 3 years, so I decided to read some reviews. This machine is ALWAYS going off balance and takes so long to complete because when it goes off balance it reverts back to the beginning of the cycle. Not convinced it washes properly either. Terrible.

So very, very disappointing.
Clothes come out dirtier than they went in time and time again.
I specifically chose to invest more in a quality machine but my basic old machine was 100x better

I had it for almost 2 years, didn’t clean properly from beginning; tried all the cycles with water efficiency off.
I just had enough; my laundry come out still smells, didn’t have enough water in all cycle.
Called support F&P after long wait and he transferred me to machine.

I spent around $1500 on this machine, with high hopes for the price huh was i sorryly mistaken.
Next to no water when washing clothes, sheets ect. No matter how much or little u put into it,no option to pick your own water level.no lint remover(even thought it states it's supposed to get rid of lint with out one ) it does not!,clothes come out smelly, rough and full of lint .oh and by the time the hot water makes it through the pipes to the machine it stops filling the measly little bit of water it uses, so no real hot water function,usless! I will never buy a fisher and pykel washine machine again it's not even worth 1 star, I feel ripped off ! Only LG and simpson for me

Doesn’t use enough water. Towels come out hard. Clothes tangled. This is too automatic as extra water can’t be used. I hate it. The control panel is hard to see too.

doesnt clean anything. nothing we wash is very dirty. this machine is five years old . its broken bits of the agitator. the suspension rods are shot. its so bad i wont even put it in the shed to clean the horse blankets. about to go another machine but wont be fisher paykel

All our washing is currently and unfortunately done with this machine. This is all household washing including my farm work clothes.
Features controls etc are good but it's the end product that's the problem
Work clothes have to be washed up to four times to try and get them clean.This is most unsatisfactory from a machine which I specifically ordered because it was listed as one of the companies best. We bought a cleansmart 10kg FP and despite using all the recommended washing products and following all the instructions, the clothes are left with notable lint all over the clothes/uniforms - not what we expected from FP and for the expensive price we paid for the "top of the range" !!- very disappointed
