Great
I have found the Fitness Passport to be great for me and my family. We have so many options with pools and gyms.
I do wish the website had more information on it though. For example if I want to upgrade to the Playpass I cant seem to find out what services are offered when I do this.
Cheers

Love it, such good value for money.
I can access so many fantastic gyms in my area for such a low fortnightly rate. I'll be upgrading to a family passport soon to make the most of the facilities with my husband and kids.

*Unbelievable poor service*
No customer service, product has a lot of limitations of what you can use it for. No telephone support, email replies can take weeks, and email replies are not even relevant to customers questions. Senior management of Product have an arrogant attitude to customers.

It started off good
The passport does allow access to a lot of gyms. HOWEVER, if you are looking to contact them regarding your account and cancelling your membership... You will be looking at an automated reply followed by no response and near impossible methods of contact.
Strongly do not recommend unless you want this company to take your money for life

Terrible customer service and attitude
Website has barely any information, contacting them is nigh impossible - could not find a phone number. They take forever to reply to their online contact form. Read terms and conditions VERY WELL before signing up. It is a pain in the A to cancel your membership too.

Awful business attitude from the company.
It was not obvious that This is a 12 months contract, I was in. It was all confusing on the website, not being able to talk to someone made it more confusing.
In the end, when I finally managed to sign up and got disconnected from my previous gym and was about to start using my Fitness passport, it turned out that that gym I was going to use, they didn't accept fitness passport. All other gyms I am able to get to don't have full facilities to use. In fact, they have half the facilities one would normally use. None of them have steam nor sauna...Read more
. When I searched in all gyms and didn't find any I could use and wanted to cancel this gym's membership. Not only that I am made to pay the cancelation fee, but the company would NOT CANCEL my membership. I am not happy at all and will advise everyone to think TWICE before joining this tricky running business. I just want to get out of this contract, but they would not cancel my membership, asking for information over and over. I already have provided all the answers to their questions, but I keep getting the same emails, and it seems like there is no person behind them... almost like a robot... NOT HAPPY....1 comment

Disappointed but thanks for responding to my concerns
Make sure to read the terms and conditions of the Fitness Passport before signing up. It's worth checking the participating gyms and fitness centres first to make sure that you'll be able to access the types of classes or equipment that suit you. Three months after signing up for a Fitness Passport as a Department of Education employee I tried to cancel my membership because none of the gyms in my area offered the type of yoga or fitness classes that I prefer. I was told it would cost $175.00 to cancel. I kept the contract going, hoping I would...Read more
find suitable classes, but ended up never using the card, even though it was costing me nearly $30 a fortnight for a service I didn't use. I have cancelled my membership now and Fitness Passport reduced my cancellation fee after corresponding about my concern. I am grateful that they had the courtesy to respond to my complaint. If you just want to use gym equipment then this is a good deal because that's what most participating businesses have available. If you want to do fitness classes, do your research first to avoid disappointment.1 comment

Fantastic!
Thank you for creating such a great program. I have access to a variety of facilities that I would never have had the opportunity to visit if I only had a single gym membership (ie. ice baths, different styles of yoga classes). Is there a list of Fitness Passport gyms and pools in WA (or nationally) for when I travel interstate?

Awesome value, great variety!
I love my FP membership. It gives me access to gyms and pools I wouldn't ordinarily be able to afford in addition to paying membership at just one gym. I get awesome value from this membership and I go to the gym so much more than I normally would. I go to 4 gyms in particular using this member ship, I bought a $20 fob on one occasion that gives me 24 hour access and a $10 locker wrist band for another gym/pool. This is totally ok, it increases my access. Reading through the complaints, it seems like these people need to read/understand contracts before they sign up. The information is definitely clear, easy to find and compliant to requirements.

Waste of time
I joined FP and cannot recall having the 12 month contract brought to my attention. I'm sure if it had been I would have taken note because I've been a gym member at various gyms for the last 20 years and all that any other gym has required is one month's notice. The gyms that accepted FP were very basic with very few classes and classes that weren't at all appealing. Given all of that I appealed to FP asking if I could cancel without penalty - the response I got was so lacking in any human element I seriously questioned whether it was sent by a Bot. Not good enough. I would not recommend FP to anyone for these reasons.

The list of facilities available for you to access was also available for you to view prior to signing up, and has not changed since you registered. What rubbish! Good value on the whole
Have found most of the facilities are very accommodating. Some do charge 15-30 dollars for an access card. I attended Future Health And Fitness in Rowville and they wanted a $70 joining fee.... I walked.
Suggestion - on the Fitness Passport website showing participating Facilities, how about state the particular facilitie's charge?

Financial Trap
In my experience, you need to have a very good knowledge of contract law before entering into this agreement. When you do try to leave Fitness Passport traps you by using terms of the contract that they say, you agreed too. These type of consumer contracts are not advisable - financial traps.

Be wary of extra fee’s - very misleading
Hi, I used to use Caretrac which was very good. Unfortunately they got taken over by FitnessPassport. It’s a good concept, but let down by the hidden costs. Most gyms do not like FitnessPassport and they insist on ‘small admin fee’ and often ‘welcome pack fee’ and other hidden fee’s.
Hence be careful, some gyms are truly as Fitness Passport describe, but most include additional hidden fees.

No problems at all
I had been with fitness pass port for many years and had no problems at all. It was great that a PT session was included and no extra cost for classes. Yes I had to pay for toggle for entry into 24 hour gym but that is to be expected. I also new about cancellation within a year etc by reading and understanding the information of the contract. I cancelled it 6 months ago due to unforeseen circumstances and had no problems. Now I'm looking into joining again. Well done FP.
