They came for fixing my duct but just put some lubricant charged about $400 and left. They told me at some point in future I will be looking at changing a part valued at about $1000 (that later I learnt from quote from another quote is valued at $600 installed). 3 weeks later the duct broke down again. They were supposed to inform me about next visit to fix. Warning!!! Do not use the Heating Doctor. They contract their jobs to other services but don't tell you this when you contact them. They don't take any responsibility when their service people can't do the job. In my case, I contacted the Heating Doctor via Robert to explain that their service person had spent 3.5 hours working on the heater and told me it was fixed. In the process of having my very old wall heating furnace looked at and then replaced I had interactions with 4 people at The Heating Doctor - one coordinating in the office (Mark), a repairman (Sam), two installers and EVERYONE was so so SO NICE!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with! I called to ask for a free quote on getting return air moved and potentially a service. Robert who I believe is the owner did not once mention there was a call out fee because if he had a I would not have had them come out. The technician from their subcontractor km heating and cooling came out and "fixed and Serviced" our heating system. 2 weeks later exact same issue but stated a different cause this time. Said it was just the air flow was stopping the pilot light. I reconfirmed that is all it was then he said he could change my thermo something something but it would be $500. We contacted Heating Doctor Melbourne about a faulty hydronic heating system. A guy from KM Heating & Cooling Professionals & Plumbers Inc came, presumably subcontractors? They charged us over $400 for the visit, and quoted over $2,000 +GST to do the repair. Said he'd require a 50% deposit to order parts, and could fix the heating in a weeks time. Called to ask if they service older ducted heating units, man who answered said “yep for $265 and I can send someone tomorrow”, I do not know much about this so I asked if they check for leakes etc, he then said yes.
