Great Product
I'm very happy with Herbatint. Been using it for about a year now. Not many hair colour dyes on the market that don't have the nasties in it. So I'm grateful to be able to use this product. Lovely grey coverage and pleasant smell. My hair doesn't come out dry or frizzy at all, like some of the other reviews. I do advise to go a shade or two lighter as colour comes out darker than the package photos.

I have been using Herbatint for over 30 years and absolutely love their product I wouldn't go with any other company as these are very natural and non damaging to my hair.

Mixed feelings re. this product.
The good thing is it is so much more gentler on my scalp. I can no longer tolerate salon dyes as they burn my scalp in areas. When I got the hairdresser to apply it the colour came out absolutely beautiful, and made me look younger.
The downside is because I have greys near my temple areas, either the dye fades or washes out when my hair is shampooed or my hair is growing fast, but I would imagine if my hair was growing too fast, I would be grey all the way around. ... Read moreix to get a good result and overall when I did this, it looks great initially, it just seems to wash out a bit. I intend to dye my own hair next time. Wish me luck. I tend to put it off because I don't feel confident doing a good job myself and I love just sitting their and not worrying too much when a hairdresser does my hair. I just hope I don't overlap the colour too much on my already dyed hair. My hair despite being fine is in very good condition a hairdressing teacher told me, but I look after my hair, so I doubt I am going to have problems with it drying out too much. Note I also use a good treatment and not the Herbal tint shampoo. Also I didn't find that I had to use much around my hairline at all. When I took it to the hairdresser they used both boxes completely and used it all up when they didn't need too, so have to admit I was a bit annoyed. Just read someone else's review and they complained that they had an allergic reaction, you are meant to do a small patch test first, before covering your whole scalp.

Brilliant, I have breathing problems and could never dye my hair, this has no smell at all I'm so happy with the product covered all grays I would use it again for sure perfect A+

Very good brand
I read many reviews. As always plenty of good then disastrous ones. I have medium blonde hair dry and grey roots regrowth. Lady at shop said go a bit lighter, she used the brand for yrs and definitely didn't destroy her hair ! I only do my regrowth. The reviews had put me off...after all your hair is your hair! I mixed a small amount of platinum BLONDE 10N and most light BLONDE 8N. No stinky smell
And very,very minor irritation to scalp. Nothing like the good salon brand I've used for yrs and which irritates my scalp even after it's don
Colours well but leaves hair dry
I’ve used the Violet shade which turns out more maroon as time goes by (I have dark brown hair originally). Easy to mix and use. Hair is very dry after dyeing but I will continue to use as I can condition/treat my hair with other products.

This is excellent hair color.
I have been coloring my hair for 56 years., Always used the Clariol to cover grey, full of ammonia and peroxide. My hair would fall out sufficiently every time and I didn't have much to begin with. Recently A friend suggested I use a color with out the harsh ammonia and peroxide that was causing it to come out. So I found Herbatint and have used it twice. My hair looks and feels great, does no fall out in bunches, is a great color, easy to use and does not stain my face. I wash my hair about 2-3 times a week, and the color lasts at least 4-5 weeks except where the grey grows out of course. I highly recommend this product!!

Not a superior product as I hoped.
I noticed upon opening the package there was not enough hair color gel and developing product in the package, although this product was not inexpensive.
After rinsing It left my hair very dry.
Gentle but colours not accurate
Nice and gentle so i’m for condition but i’ve tried 3 different colours - dark chestnut, chestnut and light chestnut- they all send my hair v dark brown! fades after time to a reddish brown though my hair naturally reddens through other dies

Love this product
I have very fine curly hair, that had turned a brassy colour . I tried Herbatint on the advice of my hairdresser and I just love the results. The colour was very true to the box colour, covered greys, was very gentle on my hair and I will get 2 applications from it. I will certainly be using this product again. And the bonus is its all natural.

The best hair dye I have used
I have been colouring my hair for around 40 years and have sensitive skin. I have used Herbatint colours twice and found them completely safe for my skin, gorgeous colours true to the colour on the packet and very long lasting. They leave my hair in great condition and I will certainly be using Herbatint in the future, highly recommended.

Love it!
First time I've used this product, (Swedish blonde) will never use anything else again. I found it to be better than a salon tint. No orange or brassiness. Hair a little dry but nothing a good conditioner won't resolve
