Hi, one of my station runs when it comes on it won’t shut off even when though it has an allotted time to run. Even if the control box is turned off it still runs. The water has to be turned off for it to stop. Regards Marc

Hello Marc, if you have removed the power from the valves and they are still open, then this is not the controller. It is the valve. There is something preventing the valve from physically closing down. You will need to check and clean your solenoid valve to stop this issue. If you need any further assistance, please call us direct on 1300 716 188. Thank you, your Holman Team!

Hello,
I have the Holeman Dial Ezy 6 station model of which I have only configured 4 stations, sufficient for my needs.
I wish to know if it is possible to program 2 stations to start at the same time? I ask this as my No 1 station waters a front lawn and No 2 station waters back lawn. I wish to start my No 3 station which will water micro drip system, at the same time as my No 1 lawn station, this system does not require a separate start as it is minimal and will not impact on the No 1 lawn watering capabilities, but a start of the No3 micro system on its own may well cavitate bore pump as the take off the micro system will be bugger all.
So is it possible?

My Ezy controller clock is running slow. Where is the internal battery located?

My Controller clock is running slow. Changed the back up battery that did not adjust. Where is the internal battery?

The time needs to be reset with the controller once the battery is replaced.
To Set Current Time & Correct Day
Turn the dial to Set Clock/Calendar position.
The hour will be flashing. Use + or - to adjust.
Note: AM / PM must be set correctly.
Press the -> button and the “minutes” will flash.
Use + or - to adjust.
Press ->and the “day of the week” will flash.
Use + or - to set correct day.

Is it possible with dialezy to run 2 stations(valves) with station 1 watering daily and station 2 watering only once every 15 days?

Ian
Ian ·

Yes. This can easily be done, as the EZY Controller has two separate watering cycle options, each allowing watering programs from everyday to every 15th day. I have a unit where I have set one program to operate one valve in the morning every second day, running for 2 minutes to supply water to a series of potted and wall mounted staghorns, elkhorns, birds nest ferns and native orchids. The second program operates once weekly in the evening to successively control 3 valves on three separate circuits, watering lawns and gardens for 10 minutes each. I have also fitted the Ezy controller with the optional rain detector, which is also programmed to stop the garden and lawn watering if rain occurs in the 3 days beforehand, while it is programmed to water the staghorns etc, every two days irrespective of rain, as these plants are undercover. The unit is very flexible in this regard. Full details in the manual here: https://www.holmanindustries.com.au/wp-content/themes/holmanindustries/Manuals/Dial%20Ezy%20Gardener_Instruction_Manual.pdf

I talked to Krys at Holman and she was great, I now have the controller working 2 separate programs. The trick is to realise that each setting of the dial is for the program selected at the start and to turn off the valves not wanted. Otherwise have been using this controller without problems for over a year now thanks Adrian

Where is the battery located?

Holman
Holman ·

Hello Roy, the battery is in the bottom section of the controller, near the station wiring. If you cannot see it, it may be tucked up under the board. If you are having issues with this, please contact us directly on 1300 716 188. Thank you, your Holman Team!

Hello! We just moved into a house with an Holman Ezyone Mini XC401. It flashes a power fault message and won’t run. Any help would be appreciated!

Holman
Holman ·

Hello Karen, this is indicating there is no power to the unit and it is being powered by the battery only. You will need to check the power supply. It may be the transformer (external on this model) Please check the fuse also. If it is a power failure, you can pick a new transformer up from your local electrical outlet, such as Jaycar or we have them avaliable on our website. https://www.holmanindustries.com.au/page/2/?s=spare+parts
Thank you, your Holman Team!

Hi

My Holman timer is working fine except that the clock seems to be losing an hour per day. Do you have any suggestions?

Holman
Holman ·

Hello MPR, We see the clock loosing time in older controllers, . You can replace the internal battery ( on the back of the panel) and if it is a clock issue, this will indeed help. If it is the electronic fault then this is the clock degrading and coming to the end of its life and the unit may need replacing. Thank you, your Holman Team!

My controller is flashing "Faulty Batt". it's out of box failure. Does anyone has got solutio for this problem. How to change the battery please advise,
Thanks

Ian
Ian ·

Remove the plastic panel below the dial which provides access to the wiring connections and 9 volt battery compartment. Connect a new 9 volt battery and the Fault Batt indication should disappear. It will reappear in a year or two, which indicates it is time to replace the battery.

Holman

Hello, you can remove the bottom panel on the controller and you will see a 9V battery snap-on fitting. This is where the battery is attached. Thank you, your Holman Team!

I have the Ezy Gardener hard wired yet a fault " battery fault " appears. Can zip assume this is the factory fitted lithium battery if so, how do I change it ? The system works OK if I manually run the station but not automatically. As it is hard wired I don't think the electrician inserted a battery.

Hi, my station 6 will not run on the timer after station 5 has run (i.e Run Program > Station 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 runs but i will not run station 6 after station 5) My station 6 will however run when i use the arrows to put it on station 6. It will also run if i put station 6 on test run. What is possible issue? My station 6 has a time set and everything... Annoying as i dont want to have to keep putting station 6 on separately after every program.
