NOT RECOMMENDED HOOVER AIRSTICK PRO
I purchased the Hoover Airstick Pro almost 3 years ago with 2 year warranty. about 3 weeks before warranty was up, it starting stopping after 10 seconds on the stronger "suck" feature. Took it back to Godfreys, was sent under warranty for check up, returned when just out of warranty. I was told " it should be fine now, we've put a new head model on it so it can be cleaned out properly." Battery was not replaced, and doing the cleaning with in a week the same thing happened - just stopped. Back to Godfreys and was told it needed a new batter...Read more
y at cost of $150.00 I would NOT RECOMMEND HOOVER AIRSTICK PRO. And to pay $500 for something that lasted less than 2 years is criminal. I do recommend the Makita small stick vac. though. Sells for $150.00Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Godfrey’s support their products
Had a problem when almost out of warranty, Godfrey’s sent it away and it turned out to only be the battery which was then replaced st no charge.
Thank you Godfrey’s and Hoover

Hoover Air Stick
The worst purchase I've ever made. Needs to be cleaned out constantly. Less than 2 years old and i think is ready for the tip. Need to return to Godfreys for another clean out and find out why it's not sucking up the dirt.

Battery Failed after 6 months
After 6 months of use the machine would only last for 4 or 5 mins before going flat. We went back to using our old machine and unfortunately by the time I took in for repair (knowing it had 2 year warranty) was informed battery only had 12 month warranty and would cost $185 for new one. Machine cost $600 - ridiculous waste of money. Buyer beware!

Hopeless
I paid a lot of money for this machine and I have spent hours unclogging it. They obviously knew it was defective as they provided a new head for nothing but still keeps getting clogged. Very poor design and I felt pressured into buying it from sales person at Godfrey’s. I believe Hoover should provide at least a partial refund for buyers of this product. I will be warning others of its faults as these upright cordless machines are popular and a good idea but in this case the opposite of a “cleaner” as they drop dirt everywhere!

Abandoned it after I got the robotic vacuum
It’s an expensive vacuum yet it’s not as good . It’s giving me hard time to empty the dust from vacuum. It’s like a battle to keep the dirt from dropping back to the floor when try to empty the dust container. I won’t recommend this vacuum

Disappointed
Like many others who have reviewed this product, I too was convinced by a Godfrey's salesman that this was by far the best portable vacuum ... great suction, would clean up pesky pet hair, best battery life of any other products, swaps easily over different surfaces. I was sold despite the hefty $600 price tag.
12 months in, and the vacuum lasts about 10 minutes (initially it lasted for ages), it's messy to empty, constantly gets clogged, doesn't pick up a lot of things, and needs to be taken apart constantly to be cleaned out inside. It's a complete dud! And I wouldn't even bother with the handheld component ... it's suction is pathetic.
I'll be going back to Dyson, and it won't be purchased at Godfrey's!

Would suggest you avoid
We were looking at a Dyson @ Godfreys in Strathpine, the lady convinced us this would be better, we have pets, it continuously blocks, the cleaning process of the machine is a head ache, even when it is clean and empty, we need to remove the vacum from the stick to pick up the balls of dust and fur it creates, would suggest not to get one.

Too much maintenance
Most times I vacuum hair gets caught around the roller and it stops spinning. I have to take it apart to get it spinning again. It's fiddly and messy to empty the container, most ends up on the floor so you have to clean after you cleaned! Most days it runs out of battery before I finish the whole house. Now it's started to die as soon as I put it on high which I need for my carpets. Godfrey salesman talked me into this, I went in to buy a Dyson. Really annoyed as it's now useless after a year and I will have to buy a new vacuum.

Don't waste your money! Worst vacuum on the market!
Terrible, terrible, terrible!! This was bought as a gift for me and worked okay the first couple of times, although it runs out of power halfway through a normal two bedroom house. Now it has completely stopped sucking up anything and simply moves the dirt around. I tried to clean all the parts of the machine thinking that it was just full (it wasn't - the suction just gave out). I've literally sat here for the last hour trying to put the POS back together and now I've just given up and it's going in the bin once I'm done writing this review. PLEASE do not waste your money on this piece of garbage! I would expect this quality from a $50 vacuum from Kmart....

Waste of money
What a POS product. Paid $600 for it to be constantly getting blocked. Of course now that the warranty is out the thing has stopped sucking all together. It’s not an easy machine to clean either 0/10

My Airstick Pro Drives Me MAD.
Having had my Air stick pro for nearly 18 months I decided to see if my problems were a common fault.
WELL in short yes.
Firstly it was highly recommended by Godfrey salesman, huge mistake of mine.they need to thoroughly test there products first as nearly 700$ was spent on this unit.
It blocks up almost every use requiring disassembly to clean.
It lasts 30 mins, that's ok.
It takes ages to recharge.
It's not really user friendly.
In short the suction is great but the delivery of dirt to the canisters is very poor designed.
Particles bigger than a pea will become lodged in the tubing and all the lint sticks behind them .
Do I recommend this unit sorry NO.

Waste of Time and Money
I have carpet flooring and a small amount of vinyl. I purchased this vacuum from Godfreys (thinking they would have the biggest range) and have been extremely disappointed. I went in asking for the best stick vacuum I could buy, around $500 later I walked away with the Hoover Air Stick Pro. It lasts around 10-15 minutes on the low power setting, before having to be recharged for around 5 hours. The major problem is it gets blocked with lint very easily and you spend the next 15-20 minutes trying to clear it out of the very tiny crevices and tub...Read more
es so it has suction again. I spend more time cleaning the vacuum than I do the floor. What a waste of time! I wish I read reviews before buy this vacuum. Don't waste your money on this garbage, definitely not worth it!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hoover Air Stick Pro bad product, Don't Buy!
Okay have had this product a bit less than 3yrs so in a good position to make a comment. I am 66yrs old it is the 3rd vacuum cleaner I have brought in my life and by far the worst. Had a battery issue inside the first 12mths and the main head driver brush motor went as well, it went again inside the next 12 mths and now today it has gone again inside another 12 mths so the stupid thing cannot give you 12 mths of service ever without issue. I am so over this product that this time I am not even going to take it back for repair under the warrant...Read more
y that I am entitled too cause I have had enough after 3 years it is not a vacuum cleaner it is a dead set disgrace $500 worth. My wife is too afraid to use it, so I deal with it continually cleaning it with air and our home is very small I mean 30 square meters with lino covered floor and a rug I warn anyone against buying one of these. Do yourself a favour by something else anything would be better a broom.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hoover air stick pro vacuum cleaner
The salesman at Godfreys recommended this cleaner for me. I have rumatoid and needed something that was easy to use . I am very dissapointed. The battery does not even last long enough to do my lounge, dining and kitchen. After a month the cleaner blocks up every time the power stops and I have to get someone to pull it apart to unblock.I will never deal with Godfreys again

Cleans well while it lasts
Does - did - a great job on the carpets and hard floors. I say did because at around the 12 month mark the battery just dies. Turns out this thing is useless without power, can't eve use it as a broom. We did get a batter replaced at the 12 month mark but here we are, just over 2 years in, and it needs replacing again. If it was cheaper it wouldn't be so bad but this is an expensive device - so steer clear.

Worst vacuum ever
The salesperson talked me out of the Dyson I wanted to buy and assured me the stick pro was ideal for pet hair. I have to take it apart every time I use it and use my old Dyson to suck out the blockages. Ridiculous that I have to use a vacuum to clean a vacuum before I can use it. It is only 4 months old. Total waste of money, it is worse than useless.

Waste of money
I only have hard floors in a tiny 2 bedroom apartment. The battery barely lasts me through the lounge and kitchen and cleaning the drums is a nightmare. The vacuum now only works on low power, when i put it on high power it turns itself off. Regret the sales assistant taking me into buying it claiming its just as good as the Dyson.

Hoover air stick pro how can put the easy brush in the head.
I cant get it it.

Godfrey G.Hoover
Hi Judy,
To remove the brush you will need to unlock the latch with a coin, the brush can then be lifted out.
To put the brush back in place the opposite end of the brush, from the latch, in first then the other side will just drop into place, the latch will then need to be re-locked into position.
This can also bee seen on page 14 of the user manual.

Thank you i finally hot my neighbour to put it in. He had stronger hands

Hi Jenny,
There may be an issue with the battery, charger or the machine's PCB.
We would recommend taking the machine and charger into your nearest Godfreys store for further inspection.
