My Airstick Pro Drives Me MAD.
Having had my Air stick pro for nearly 18 months I decided to see if my problems were a common fault.
WELL in short yes.
Firstly it was highly recommended by Godfrey salesman, huge mistake of mine.they need to thoroughly test there products first as nearly 700$ was spent on this unit.
It blocks up almost every use requiring disassembly to clean.
It lasts 30 mins, that's ok.
It takes ages to recharge.
It's not really user friendly.
In short the suction is great but the delivery of dirt to the canisters is very poor designed.
Particles bigger than a pea will become lodged in the tubing and all the lint sticks behind them .
Do I recommend this unit sorry NO.

Waste of Time and Money
I have carpet flooring and a small amount of vinyl. I purchased this vacuum from Godfreys (thinking they would have the biggest range) and have been extremely disappointed. I went in asking for the best stick vacuum I could buy, around $500 later I walked away with the Hoover Air Stick Pro. It lasts around 10-15 minutes on the low power setting, before having to be recharged for around 5 hours. The major problem is it gets blocked with lint very easily and you spend the next 15-20 minutes trying to clear it out of the very tiny crevices and tub...Read more
es so it has suction again. I spend more time cleaning the vacuum than I do the floor. What a waste of time! I wish I read reviews before buy this vacuum. Don't waste your money on this garbage, definitely not worth it!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hoover Air Stick Pro bad product, Don't Buy!
Okay have had this product a bit less than 3yrs so in a good position to make a comment. I am 66yrs old it is the 3rd vacuum cleaner I have brought in my life and by far the worst. Had a battery issue inside the first 12mths and the main head driver brush motor went as well, it went again inside the next 12 mths and now today it has gone again inside another 12 mths so the stupid thing cannot give you 12 mths of service ever without issue. I am so over this product that this time I am not even going to take it back for repair under the warrant...Read more
y that I am entitled too cause I have had enough after 3 years it is not a vacuum cleaner it is a dead set disgrace $500 worth. My wife is too afraid to use it, so I deal with it continually cleaning it with air and our home is very small I mean 30 square meters with lino covered floor and a rug I warn anyone against buying one of these. Do yourself a favour by something else anything would be better a broom.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hoover air stick pro vacuum cleaner
The salesman at Godfreys recommended this cleaner for me. I have rumatoid and needed something that was easy to use . I am very dissapointed. The battery does not even last long enough to do my lounge, dining and kitchen. After a month the cleaner blocks up every time the power stops and I have to get someone to pull it apart to unblock.I will never deal with Godfreys again

Cleans well while it lasts
Does - did - a great job on the carpets and hard floors. I say did because at around the 12 month mark the battery just dies. Turns out this thing is useless without power, can't eve use it as a broom. We did get a batter replaced at the 12 month mark but here we are, just over 2 years in, and it needs replacing again. If it was cheaper it wouldn't be so bad but this is an expensive device - so steer clear.

Worst vacuum ever
The salesperson talked me out of the Dyson I wanted to buy and assured me the stick pro was ideal for pet hair. I have to take it apart every time I use it and use my old Dyson to suck out the blockages. Ridiculous that I have to use a vacuum to clean a vacuum before I can use it. It is only 4 months old. Total waste of money, it is worse than useless.

Waste of money
I only have hard floors in a tiny 2 bedroom apartment. The battery barely lasts me through the lounge and kitchen and cleaning the drums is a nightmare. The vacuum now only works on low power, when i put it on high power it turns itself off. Regret the sales assistant taking me into buying it claiming its just as good as the Dyson.

Just a toy
I GUESS there are a lot of buyers are falling into this trap done by godfreys sales.
This machine just a toy will not help you clean your home-maybe should leave in your car which it can do some help.
Why not buy:
1.Godfrey sales Dyson is expensive because its marketing expense inhance the product price. It is not very true. Considering Air stick pro performance, its price has more about marketing compared with dyson.
2. Poor design of dust container, everything will stuck in it and block the suction tube. Worst design of the flexible tube insi...Read more

I have such buyer's remorse
Another person who got pushed into buying this at Godfreys. I have two long haired cats and even though I keep the floor pretty clean, I have to unclog the brush head and neck of this every few times I use it. I'm utterly sick of it. Emptying it makes a real mess too. I think the battery life is OK.

Worst vacuum cleaner I've ever owned
Pros:
Great suction (when it's going!)
Very quiet
Very Light
Cons:
Battery barely 13 minutes on full power.
6 hr recharge.
Often gets blocked with dog hair & takes ages to dismantle and muck about with a screwdriver fishing it out
Dust capacity rubbish
Emptying is complicated and takes to long.

Waste of money
I have had my Air Stick Pro for over a year and I can truthfully say it as an absolute waste of money. It doesn’t fit under low furniture and the accessories are terrible-too narrow, too short. What is the flexible hose for exactly ? Would never recommend it or Godfreys.

Waste of money
6 months old and I'm sick and tired of dismantling the cleaner to clear blockages. Already some of the parts are very worn and I can't see it lasting until the end of the year. A total waste of $600. Will never go to Godfreys again. Should have bought the Dyson.

Makes life easy
It’s so very easy to vacuum now, I can wiz around & it’s extremely easy, there is no pulling a heavy vacuum behind me & no constantly changing power points. It’s the best vacuum I’ve owned in 47 years, suction is better than my expensive Dyson & so much easier to manoeuvre about, cuts vacuuming time down by heaps

Hopless, Keeps clogging up at the 90 degree bends of the felxible tube.
My husband is sick and tired of having to take the stupid thing into his workshop to dismantle the head system to pull and poke then blow it out with his compressed air blow gun! He is an aircraft maintenance engineer and say's it is a flawed design because of the 90 degree sudden changes in direction with the flexible tube being fluted instead of a smooth surface to prevent debris snagging on the flutes. We took it back to Godfrey's in it's last blocked condition to show them and complain. They looked to see if there were any solids in the fl...Read more
uff that may have caused the blockage - Nothing. We have agreed to try it one more time and if it clogs again, which we expect it to, then we will be seeking recompense under warranty. O f course, as usual, the warranty seems to only cover the appliance for a 12 month call out, parts and labour guarantee. It does not seem to cover failure to satisfactorily perform due to design fault. I will report further as soon as we are able to confirm what has been described here. meanwhile folks - be warned!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

A very regretful buy!
The most frustrating thing is that it takes so long to fully charge but gives you only about 10-12 mins which of course is never enough to do the whole house. As I have carpet, the small plastic container fills up quickly. There are also too many parts to dismantle/attach to facilitate cleaning. I had to return to Godfreys within two months of purchase because there was no suction at all and was sent away for servicing. In addition, when hairs get entangled in the rotary brush under the head, the machine stops and I have to manually remove the ...Read more
disc to pull out the hairs. Another frustrating thing is that the head keeps lifting slightly up so I have to press it down with my foot frequently. All this stress for $599.00. If you love vacuuming 2 or 3 times a day, this model is for you. If not, don't bother testing this model and get sucked in. It's the worst in cordless technology.1 comment

Piece of rubbish
I purchased this on high recommendation at a Godfrey’s store. I previously owned a Dyson. It was expensive $549 but I liked the convenience of not having to bend down or have to drag a cord along behind. I clean it weekly and it still becomes blocked up and have to dismantle pieces to clean it out but still have issues going around the corners to remove the debris. The battery charge is running out now at approximately 8 minutes and I cannot get all my floors done. Very annoying. Warranty ran out 1 month ago. Would never spend big $$$$ like this again on such an unreliable and time consuming appliance.

Always Blocked
As with others, it is a good idea, but fundamentally floored (slight pun). The design is poor, the vacuum is constantly blocked from carpet fluff, pet hair etc. It is a shame because I think that the idea is good, strong suction, many great accessories, the spinning broom at the front... etc. But having to pull it apart twice a month to unclog it is not acceptable. It is a result of the bend into the first suction chamber in particular.
Disappointing given the brand and cost.

Complete rubbish
This product is an absolute waste of money. The main problem is that the vacuum becomes blocked very quickly and then fails to have any suction, you then need to pull it apart and physically remove all of the debris that gets caught up in it. The pipes inside are too narrow and too convoluted resulting in a backup of what it sucked up. For fairly light use we are having to pull it apart every few weeks and it takes about 15min to clear it. I've never had a vacuum like it and I'll never buy another Hoover.

I’d definitely call customer service about that.

Hi,
There may be an issues with the battery, charger or PCB in the machine.
We would recommend to take the machine into your nearest Godfreys store, when they reopen, for further inspection.
Regards,
The Hoover Team
It’s a common complaint about this air stick, so the battery might need replacing. If it’s still under warranty, it should be done free of charge.

Hoover air stick pro how can put the easy brush in the head.
I cant get it it.

Godfrey G.Hoover
Hi Judy,
To remove the brush you will need to unlock the latch with a coin, the brush can then be lifted out.
To put the brush back in place the opposite end of the brush, from the latch, in first then the other side will just drop into place, the latch will then need to be re-locked into position.
This can also bee seen on page 14 of the user manual.

The Hoover Team
Thank you i finally hot my neighbour to put it in. He had stronger hands
