Hi, the tension on my hose reel is so tight l have trouble pulling it out. Is there a way to adjust it ?

Hi there, thank you for your question. Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your hose reel being hard to pull out.
Due to the hose reels being spring loaded, they do require a fair amount of tension to ensure that the hose retracts fully every time. However this shouldn't cause problems with the system being hard to pull out. If this is a new hose reel then the tension should ease the more you use it.

Hi,
Our neighbour just purchased two Hoselink reels. The one on the back of the house 30M works fine but the shorter one at the side of the house, will not lock. She is an elderly lady and it almost pulls her off her feet.
How can I reset it for her?. Does the hand on the casing and the three sharp tugs reset it?.

When the hose is being pulled out from the casing, do you hear any clicking noises? With our older model (with the green hose) it did only lock off every 5metres which might be why the unit is not locking into place. Every 5metres you will hear 4/5 clicking noises and this is the only time the unit will lock into place. If you try locking the unit outside of these clicks it simply won't hold.
