This a good cheap lap top
I bought this Lap top a few months ago to be able to carry from work to home every day.
I must say, despite that this is a basic model but it has a i5 processor which is fast.
The picture resolution is good and the screen is reasonably big.
I am happy with the performance of this new lap top, despite it does't have touch screen, but every other function like keyboard and mousepad is good.
Surely, it lack on touch screen and high quality of graphic images but overall it is a good Lap Top
Purchased in November 2021 at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for A$650.00.

Just a good laptop
Its fast and had very good features which include a backlit keyboard and touchscreen. However the cosmetic wear of this particular laptop has let me down and any attempts to rectify this issue hadn't been resolved by the HP customer service team. The A12 processor really works well for office work but obviously not appropriate for gaming

Good laptop
Updated from a Toshiba laptop which are no longer manufactured to this HP dual drive system
This system uses a SSD (solid state drive) and a secondary hard disk drive (conventional)
The SSD is limited in capacity, around 118 gigabyte but the windows operating system lives there.
It comes with a secondary conventional hard disk drive labelled "DATA" with a terrabyte of storage.

memory but once updates kick in will be replaced by just under 23 gig aquiring even more space. Dont freak out when you see your SSD drive looking full on setup. You will need to direct your documents and file storage parameters to the hard disk (DATA) drive as you wil quickly fill the SSD up if you use it for conventional data purposes. It defaults to the SSD on new. However this laptop set up and initialised faster than any other I have had. The SSD is much quicker to load up.
