Love it
This car has really impressed me. I didn’t think I would notice such a difference as my previous cat was only five years old but the Tucson is much nicer to drive. Apple car play is a great feature which allow easy use of maps, calls and text messages while driving. The interior is comfortable and spacious. Only dislike about the interior is the clock is in a different spot when not using Apple car play and that’s a bit annoying. I have only had the car 3 months but so far it has been very reliable, no issues at all. Fuel effiecently is better than I expected. I get more kms per litre than I did with my Mazda 3. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this car to anyone wanting a more affordable
SUV.

Really great and spacious
Driving of the Tucson ( Active ) is really easy. Good control on the road .There is a tyre noise to be heard whilst travelling on long roads but does not have any effect to vehicle. Very spacious legroom. Love the look and shape of the interior. The colour charcol matches well. Have had the Tucson for 4 months and found it to be reliable and cost effective.

My Third Hyundai.
Third one in three years and then its the best. The wife was awed in the size to the previous, but has taken to it like a duck to water, much better vision for parking, loads more room a real pleasure to drive. I am relegated to the old I30. We live in he Central West and drive to Sydney regularly, this car is a breeze to drive, it almost makes it a pleasure to drive in Sydney.

Reasonable family Car
The model we had is Active X. One model up from the base model. The driving experience is suprising good. Nice and smooth. It got enough power there for a quick take over, however, definitely not comparable to my V6.
We like the contemporary design of the interior, easy to clean, plenty of leg room front and back. Great amount storage room in the boot.
Love this car so far!

Amazing car, great features
Car is quiet to drive, handles very well for a SUV and provides options for extras which I have roof racks and towball.
The running costs are low compared to my previous car and holds a substantial amount of fuel for a long drive up the coast.
Only negative is the car lacks navigation system built in, the android auto play navigation which I connect with my phone isn't what I expected.

Great car
I bought the Tucson Active X 2 months ago and think it's a fantastic car. Quiet inside car, has leather interior which is great to wipe mess from kids.
Reasonable leg room although car seats (rear facing ones) need to be on passanger side as they can obstruct the driver seat from going back very far (only issue for long legs).
Stereo is good, reverse camera is brilliant
Good looking car, smooth drive but can't give it 5 star as I find little things like middle seat belt set up strange, and the steering wheel controls are a bit clunky for want of a better word.

The best car we have ever had
This car is the best we have ever had! It has only been serviced twice with no faults found what so ever. The driving position and dash layout is perfect and the passenger position is very good too. The exterior and interior finish is nothing short of first class. Tyre noise is very low too. This is the best car we have ever had. The starting and performance is nothing short of first class too.

Amazing Reliable Car
I love my new Hyundai Tucson, it has fantastic features. Very compacted vehicle, looks very stylish. Great on fuel, apple car play is great. No more CDs floating around in the car. Boot space is large.
It is very roomy, I love the dash lighting and the seats are comfortable. It definitely makes for a perfect family vehicle. Would say 10/10

Love my Tucson!
Car runs really well, have had it for 5 months and no issues to date. Good sized boot.
Tiny complaint I have is the position of the fuel light; I never see it when it comes on when I'm driving; only when I get home and lean forward to pull the key out of the ignition. Drives me crazy!

My first Brand New Vehicle and very happy!
My first new vehicle, with extensive research ended up getting a 2016 Tuscon Active x. Driving experience is good enough for getting around and even long drives. Never had a issue with handling and only hear a little bit of outside wind noise. What i like about it is the front room for the driver. I a big guy and it seems like this was designed for larger people for a American market, so lots of space in front for the driver and passenger. Con however is that means its a bit smaller in the back to get into via the doors. My elderly mother has p...Read more
roblems lifting her feet in, so I make sure she sits in the front. Had no issues at all with servicing and the fuel running costs have been around 7.8L/100km for mostly highway runs with about 24,000km on it since October last year. Makin and Luby Dealership
Really excited for my new car. I've ordered it from Makin and lubin dealership and so far experience has been wonderful. Sales guy (Terry) was very helpful and provided us all the details and the best price over the phone itself. I'll be collecting it tomorrow and looking forward to it

Active X is worth it
Very happy with my new Hyundai Tucson Active X. I couldn't decide between getting the base model or the Active X and I'm glad I made the decision to get the Active X - the interior is a lot nicer.
Great to drive, handles well and a nice and reliable car so far.
Wish they would support CarPlay for the 2015 model though!

Amazing Drive
Bought Active X with sunroof. One of the best SUV in its category. Smooth Ride, amazing sunroof, beige interiors looks premium. Decent drive away price of 33k makes it value for every $ spent :)
Loved it. Bought it from Makin and Luby Ivanhoe showroom last week. Satisfying experience so far.

Excellent
Very happy with my new Tuson active X, great car to drive, all the mod cons you need . recommend it highly to anyone considering a new car. I test drove all the competition and the Tuson just came up tops in every way, it even beat the new KIA spotage which is the car I had to trade.

OK car - but warrantee is worthless
The car is good but Sutton's warrantee is worthless
Sought a repair under warrantee for the car radio on my Hyundai ix-35 which had been making whistling noises and adjusting its own volume levels.
Rang and was told that “the manager would ring me back” – which he didn’t.
Made a few more phone calls – none of which were returned until finally I was able to book in for the warrantee repair.
Wasted half a day driving there and back and waiting around only to be told that the car radio needed a “system upgrade” but when I was on the way home I...Read more

In a word: EPIC.
We recently purchased a 2017 TL Active X, (incl panoramic sunroof). I spent about a month doing research beforehand on the top 5 x mid-size SUV's, including test drives, reading reviews and looking at vehicle write ups/specs. I have to say and don't take my word for it, the Tucson is definitely the stand out by far. As a 'Vehicle Industry Certificate’ holder' myself, I was very impressed with the build quality and attention to detail. They have even provided a spot underneath the rear tray for the ‘cargo blind’ to be stored when not in use. ...Read more
Hyundai apparently spent mega bucks developing a suspension system for the 'Aussie' market to suit this vehicle and I must say it has paid off, it is so smooth and the steering is effortless. The seating and interior is very spacious and comfortable. Another plus are the leather seats, which are also standard on this model. We bought our vehicle as a demo and it came with the beige (two-tone) leather upgrade, which I wasn’t aware of and it only costs $295 extra. It takes the car to a whole new level and it looks really classy. Okay space, oh boy, out of all the SUV's it is unbelievable, especially in the rear seats. They also recline for those long trip passengers as well, awesome! Okay, what about power and fuel economy? Well ours is a 2.0 litre (GDI petrol) version which has plenty of power on tap and I especially love the 3 x drive modes (Normal/Eco and Sports), which are available as standard on this model as well. Wait for it, we are also currently getting 7.6 litres/100km around town, (in Eco mode). We also drove to Moonta Bay over Easter and got down to 6.2/litres/100km, unbelievable! Is there more, yep, that panoramic sunroof is exceptional. You can tilt it open, fully open and fully close it with the auto roof lining. Try and get that on any vehicle under $40K? To top it off, I also think the 18" rims, which are standard on this model, are the best pick out of all the range to suit this vehicle. In a nutshell, a great car at a great price. My recommendation, drive one and you won’t forget it. Finally, kudos also have to go to Matt and the team at ‘Adrian Brien Hyundai’ at St Marys. They really do go ‘above and beyond’, thanks guys!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Best overall value for money. Beats all. Competitors
Excellent handling with a smooth drive. Great overall value for money and beats all other brands I tested especially in ride comfort and suspension.
Good quality interior. Comfy seats and a great driving position. The dash is a nice textured plastic but i found that it gets scratched easily.
Fuel economy is not accurate as per advertised. 10.5L per 100km in the city.

Happy Customer
Very comfortable to drive performance and handling wise no issues. Leather interior easy to maintain only issue is I know the small holes in seats are probably to allow air flow but very annoying when things get stuck in as extremely hard to get out. Have not had any issues would definitely recommend based on comfort and reliability
