Excellent value for money for refillable cartridges & refill ink

    published

I tired rapidly of being held to ransom each time I needed to replace the ink cartridges on my Epsom WF 2660.The genuine cartridges are chipped and don't allow a DIY refill.

I was overjoyed to find Inkbank had a set of refillable cartridges and the ink as a kit . The service was great, the gear arrived promptly as Australia Post could manage.
Overall the total was $100, but it now means i can refill cartridges for a line time to come at $2.50c odd a cartridge as against $17-$20 against the Epsom cartridges.

The refill process was quite simple and straight forward and the printer has printed about 100 pages - over 3 weeks- with no problems. One has to be careful to disable the automatic updates as that can muck up the chip.

    Good but not fantastic

    published

Bought ink and cartridges 18 months ago for Canon MG5560. Chip in one cartridge failed after 12 months but have bypassed it in printer. Aside from that, cartridges have worked well.
Ink quality fine for day to day paper printing but have found that photos faded badly after only a few months. Having printed photos on Canon paper using original Canon ink and InkBank ink, the conclusion is clear - if you want long lasting photos that won't fade, use Canon ink.

    Good old fashioned customer service

    published

In 2014 I purchased a new Canon MG7160 printer as it is one of the few printers designed to print on DVDs. As we all know the cost of replacement cartridges is ridiculous to the point of pure extortion by manufacturers, its cheaper in many cases to buy a new printer when the cartridges need replacing and throw the old (new) printer in the rubbish, what total waste. Found InkBank.com.au and purchased a complete set (6) of refillable cartridges + ink, not a difficult process to refill. After only one refill, one of the cartridges developed an error and was no longer recognised by the printer, an apparent fault in the chip. Ink Bank happily replaced the cartridge without question.

The answer for Canon printer cartridges when no resetter available

    published

I've been successfully resetting the same Canon 520/1 cartridges with a chip re-setter for years, 100's of times for each. With no re-setter available for the 650/1 series I tried the auto reset cartridges. They work wonderfully and after the initial set up (excellent instructions) they are better and easier than the 520/1s. Advice is only remove and refill when the empty cross appears above the cartridge icon. This action resets the counter.
A preliminary phone call before purchase provided needed information and purchase and delivery was excellent. All necessary equipment for refilling (apart from the inks) was provided. Follow up technical query was answered promptly.

    Great

    published

After initialising my printer and inks I left it sit for at least 10 days since using it. Then I printed a full A4 Colour print without doing any nozzle checks, nothing and it printed flawlessly. No blocked nozzles, no cleaning, no dramas. Very impressed with inks and the satisfaction/quality Guarantees.
I will be sticking with them, thank you Ink Bank.

Has anyone used the T220 ARC cartridges in a work force WF 2750 and if so, how did it work?

WF 2750 ARC cartridges are not listed on the Ink bank website as they are most likely a recent printer series. My 2660 was the same when I sought cartridges but now have been added to the listings. The T220 cartridges work well without problems.

Make sure you are NOT still auto updating your printer as their drivers can be be updated to prevent use of aftermarket cartridges.

Best to directly contact the owner of Inkbank whom you find extremely helpful. Contact link is hard to find it can be found in the specific cartridge listings .
