Disgusting company
Does not even deserve one star. Trying to sign people up by asking if they've "ever had to plan a funeral" when told you are not interested is an absolutely disgusting tactic (and I'm sure you can imagine the tone of voice they used). This is completely unacceptable and has caused much hurt and distress. Not only that, to then try again only a couple of days later is beyond belief.

Rude, hassling telemarketers
For over two months now I've received numerous unsolicited calls from InsuranceLine even though I told them during the first call I was not interested. But they try again on a different number (I promptly block each number they call from). I just can't fathom how a business thinks the best way to get new customers is to continually harass them with rude telemarketers?

Marketing Calls are Rude and Repetitive
Received 2 calls in the last week from this company, went along with the first one, starting out with the standard questions ("Have you considered insurance x, y or z?") but when i said i have considered and I'm not interested, the follow up question was "Have you ever had to plan a funeral?".
This is a pathetic marketing attempt and one which could cause people serious anguish if they have recently lost a loved one, I implore everyone to stay away from this company.

Would highly recommend this company. Excellent funeral insurance.
I have nothing but good things to say about this companies funeral insurance. When my father passed away they were very kind and compassionate. I applied for the insurance on the Friday and I had the money transferred to my bank account by the following Wednesday. They also sent me a beautiful bunch of condolence flowers. Totally professional in a very difficult time. I have to say I was very surprised that it was so easy.

Being stalked by this company with daily harassing calls even though I've never been nor ever plan t
On a daily basis I receive three to four calls from this company's marketing service, often where nobody speaks and simply laughs into the phone. Not sure how they got my number as I have had nothing to do with this company and now don't ever plan to. The harassment has been reported to the authorities.

Annoying telemarketing calls
Constant annoying calls from their overseas call centre trying to set up a time for their 'specialist' to call you and presumably give you the hard sell on funeral insurance.

Liars
When I first took out the policy I specifically asked if I would be covered if I hurt myself in martial arts or mountain bike riding.
Luckily today, two years later I thought I would check my policy and they say I am not covered for those as deemed dangerous.
Lying money stealers. Wish I never spent two years giving my money to this company

They Make it Easy, and they are Caring.
My father passed away suddenly and he had a policy through InsuranceLine which was processed very quickly and we were able to give him the funeral he wanted and deserved, plus we could do it pretty quick. The people we spoke to on the phone were lovely and very caring. Everything went smoothly, no complications at all. Thank you so much for giving us less to stress about. I highly recommend InsuranceLine.

Liars and swindlers
I have had my funeral policy with Insurance line for 13 years. Today I received a letter informing me of an increase in my premiums of almost $5 per fortnight. The policy I had, was supposed to be fixed, and as far as I was aware, I was only ever charged for the inflation rate increase and nothing else. My policy had never increased by more than $1.50 and I was always informed that it was due to the inflation rate increase, I was supposed to be protected against any age stepping or I would have cancelled my policy a long time ago. about the issue, I was told that they could see that I had had a conversation about it but apparently I didn't take it further. Are you serious? Then they try to convince me to staying with them and that they would wave the next 6 months. I told them to shove their policy because they are nothing but a pack of liars and that I couldn't trust them now. I have cancelled my policy with Insuranceline and gone with Real Insurance who advised me that my policy will never go up, not even with inflation and the cost will only ever come down, never up. Real Insurance will wave my 12 month waiting on death cover and the cost of their policy is only $1 more than what Insurance Line's premium. Insuranceline said that the policy they had me under was going to go up every 5 years which means I could be paying around $60+ a fortnight by the time I'm 90 years old. a very professional group!
It took 2 days to settle my mother's funeral insurance unlike Centuria life that has not yet settled my mother's funeral expenses. They are a good group who are sympathetic. Stay away from Centuria life which is another insurance company who deal with funeral insurance!

Good experience.
I am unsure of the problems encountered by some of the negative reviewers, however, I have had 2 funeral policies with InsuranceLine and on both occasions when I had to makes claims I was treated with respect and the claims dealt with very quickly. They asked for documentation to prove the claim, which I provided, and the money was in the account within 24 hours. On both occasions. There was no stalling or asking for more information just good service.

Lying cheating thieves
This company is a disgrace!
I took out a policy for myself & a disabled family member that they cancelled without my knowledge or approval, illegally accessing my bank account to do so then denying any wrong doing. Utterly despicable.
If I could give a MINUS rating I would.

Premiums are not guaranteed
Premiums are not guaranteed and go up yearly. This product is a con. Phone service is excellent if you want to buy the product but ridiculous if you want to claim.

Dishonest Company
I have had multiple experiences with insurance line trying to coerce me into a deal I did not want. They are not there to help or to take you out of a 'sad time' or anything of the sort but are purely selfish and out to get into your wallet. I would not entrust large amounts of money with people as shady and unreliable as this.

This is TAL insurance DO NOT INSURE WITH THEM
Currently going through a claim and they are trying everything they can not too pay. When you are injured the last thing you feel like doing is going through this, it shouldn't be like this.
I made another claim with another insurer at the same time and it was approved and payed within 5 days.
Im glad it happened now as I have Death and disability insurance with them also. As soon as this is over I will be shifting my Super Account and my insurance

Waste of time and Breath.
The most unprofessional company I have have had to deal with, Claim has been going for 2 years they keep loosing paper work. Also have to fight them over my doctors name ( shouldn't I know who did my surgery) No apparently I have it wrong but never mind the surgeon they say who did my surgery doesn't even work in Sydney, They are happy to keep taking but god forbid they pay it back when needed.

Non sympathetic & the worst service ever
Worst company ever!!! If I could give a 0 I would. Don't even consider. Go elsewhere.. At a difficult time they refused to pay up regardless of having all the necessary documents, gave us the run around and we had to constantly call them to chase amongst organising my mothers funeral. They finally paid but not til AFTER my mum had been laid to rest. Would NEVER recommend insurance line to anyone. Shame on you insurance line!!!

Reassurance at a sad time.
Sadly I had to use our Funeral Insurance sooner than I thought.
As soon as Insuranceline were contacted and all paperwork done, the money was through into my account.
I was really surprised at their caring thoughts when I arrived home and found a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
Thank you to the staff who handle this department.

Hi Marie.no way they will not refund you.but they will gladly cancel it and keep your money.l started a new policy recently so it would not increase every year.So l lost all the money l had put into my policy over the last 10 years.

I was a member for 7 years and changed my policy to a no increase premium.So it does not go up each year.BUT they started me a new policy and I lost all of the money I had put into the previous account. Also is it right that they cancel your policy after you turn 69.
I had a friend who was 79 and they cancelled his policy because he had only been a member for 2 years and they said he was too old to be a member and returned 3 payments to him.
