Where can I get my hands on a service book for our (new to us) 2014 Jayco Swan Outback Camper. We've just purchased it second hand, but it didn't come with any sort of manual/service log. We would liked to get it services but are people that liek to follow the manuals the majority of the time, so we need to see what is actually done at each service (among other things). Thanks kindly

We have just purchased a Jayco Swan 2017 used it for the first time was great until we packed up and couldn’t slide the queen bed back in.
Our caravanning neighbour climbed in the van and found one of the rollers was stuck in the track and had to break the roller to get it out.
Any ideas on how to fix it or will the bed still work on one roller on one track?

Hi, I'm just wondering how much it may cost to replace a fridge in an 80's Viscount pop up caravan? This model is basically the same as the Jayco swan. Thanks :)

We've just bought a Jayco Swan Outback..dreams do come true..and as we're avid cyclers, I'm wondering whether people have tried a Rhino Rack bike carrier to attach to spare wheel. How much weight is okay and are there wobbles?

We have a swan outback...looking to hang a three tier fruit basket from the inside roof. Just wondering if anyone has screwed into their roof and if its ok? what size screws do you use and will it hold weight?
1 answer
if it was me I wouldn't screw into the roof as if it leaks then you will have to replace the roof and inside lining as you would have to be careful that you didn't screw into the wiring in the roof as if you screw into the wiring this will cause a short at best if not a fire. so if you decide to hang this make sure of the where the wiring harness is 1st

Does the top halve of the door system fold up with a canvas facia on the Jayco Swan early model?
3 answers
I have only had 1980 jayco dove and 2010 jayco dove
But I expect the swan would be just the same.
The door always comes in half in order to wind the top down.
I also had a 70's model and the top half of the door was canvas.
The bottom was solid.
Hope this helps.
On the Penguin the door is in two halves. The top half is solid not canvas with a window.
Thank you one and all. I probably didn't explain properly. What I was enquiring about was "what was the top section of divided door attached to the ceiling of van"? Was it a metal sheeting or was it a material substance for flexibility? Thanks. Noel.

Hi I have recently purchased the jayco swan outback. Does anyone know why the windows only zip down halfway on one side? Also is there way to neatly roll them down? Thanks
2 answers
if you roll them toward the outside you can tuck them away rather than have them hanging in the van
The window do not zip down all the way so you can roll them down toward the outside and tuck them away into a pocket like arrangement between the roll u just made and the fly screen. I think they zip down further than just half way.
