Good floor plan but beware of Jayco when it comes to after warranty help

published

Love my expanda but whenever i have had to deal with jayco for advice or spare parts i get a different story. Spoke to Jayco head office about sourcing new locker door and they said they couldn't manufacture one for caravan that was 4 years old. Spoke to a dealer and they said no worries and ordered the part from jayco and I got it few weeks later. Also had an electrical problem which i now know is just a moisture issue which seems is common but Jayco head office wasn't interested in helping to diagnose the issue.

Have you ever had issues with leaking at beds during heavy rain?

I'm glad you are happy with yours you are obviously the lucky one we have had ours 12mths and has spent more time being repaired than have been to use it and we bought it brand new but feels like a second hand one :(

I have just got my new Expand from Jayco Newcastle, I dealt direct with the owner [name removed], treated like a valued customer, I have purchased many vans in my days, I found that Newcastle Jayco is the way to go. The Van is the 16 footer with bathroom, full stove, air and all the bits that make a jaco great, Oh, did I mention it was the outback, tows like a dream, Heaps of room, easy and very practicle, I find the quality is fantastic, I reall can,t complain about anything about our New Van, wife and I love it
love the room

Check the weight ratio on tyres if it is a single axle and the springs are not 7 leaf also when tanks are full you can not take any food as you will be over weight.Sorry but this is fact.

Sorry Lance07 - what do you mean weight ratio on tyres? I thought you could carry the difference between the ATM and the TARE mass - which should be around 350kg??

Perfect Family Van

published

I bought the 16.49.3 (shower toilet model) HD. I bought it a year old, but with only 1 short holiday under its belt. I love it, I had the Jayco swan camper before, but found on my own with 3 kids under 5 really hard work, but this one is so easy for me to do on my own. I tow it with a kia grand carnival and its does just fine. I did take out the table as it takes up too much space. Cant wait to go on my next holiday!
Not to heavy to tow and quick set up
They are built to a price, so you need to be gentle wih them.

Great set up. Heaps of room. Easy & quick to set up.
JAYCO........ NEVER AGAIN. I will never buy a van from Bayswater Jayco ever again. The experience that we had with them was unbelievable. Once they had our sale that was it they didnt give a rats!!! The customer service that we recieved from their team & also from Jayco head office was discracefull.
