Hi maddening, the underside of the lid and the lid hinge (level with the lid, pretty much) have plastic parts - there's no plastic is directly in touch with boiling water (barring condensation), there's no plastic smell... it's not ideal, but it's not bad.
Hi, 2 small washers for the handle and plastic for the weight height measurer.
What is the kambrook bpa free kettle elemant size?

Our Kambrook KSK220 has rust around the edge/ rim and the spout. Isn't it supposed to be stainless steel ? I am now concern on my and rust free? I am now more concerned for family health and well being after consuming water from this kettle. What is the process to have a refund or seek compensation for the impact on health?

You need to contact Kambrook (if they will ever answer you). Then you need to contact Consumer Affairs or the equivalent in your state.
The rust is accumulating from your water supply, not the kettle. I have used a quality distiller for many years and have no rust or other gatherings in my kettles. In the collection cavity of the distiller is a most horrifying residue of rust, aluminium etc. that you could crack with a hammer. It is continual. This is what you drink everyday and the evidence of it is seen on your kettle rim. These are the "valuable" minerals you will miss out on if you drink pure, distilled water.
