Very wobbly tower.

published

Too noisy on low setting for sleeping. There should be a quiet mode. Oscillation the tower rocks/wobbly I think 8cm. Which makes it feel/look flimsy. Price OK but everything has a 12 month warranty these days casual use it should last 5 years or more. Cannot clean fan blades without dissembling the unit.

Purchased in January 2021 at The Good Guys for A$64.00.

Cool but noisy

published

The remote for this fan was a major selling point. It has great flexibility with speeds and modes. The most disappointing feature is that it is too noisy to use at night and almost during the day. I have sensitive hearing but use a desktop oscillating fan without any problem. Really wish the Kambrook was quieter.

Kambrook Arctic 77cm Tower Fan with Remote Control

published

I purchased this fan in August 2017 and find that the fan's power & output is great for a portable fan, although the noise level is quite high but it is on par with other portable fans.

Because it is a tower fan design, it doesn't take up a lot of floor space and also raises the airflow to where I want it.

Also the fan's controls are easy to use and the included remote is a bonus.

I'm very happy with this fan so I bought a second fan!

Good for easy breeze

This fan looks good and comes with a remote to save you getting up. Settings include speed, oscillate and timer function to auto switch off. The top speed setting is not overly strong unless you are directly in front of it. Bought this during these very hot summers and was disappointed that it did not keep me cool during sleep. Would not purchase again if given the choice, also not very quiet

Good and solid fan

published

I used this fan for this summer, it can keep the room cool down from the heat outside. However the remote wasn't work (I do not need it so no bother to return). Overall it is more powerful than expected, and the best thing is the size - easy to place in a small room.

My KTF816BLK fan just ran out of warranty 2 days ago. Today it starts turning itself on and randomly cycling thru the modes, turning on swing mode and turning it off again. I've tried unplugging it but to no avail. Played up again for a bit but is working normally again for now..
Should I be worried and is there any chance of getting it replaced still. Bought it from JB HIFI and this is actually a replacement for the 1st one I bought, that started making lloud noises within a week of buying it.

Take it back to JB HiFi and demand a replacement or refund.
