    Warm as Toast

    published

We purchased this beautiful Kent Somerset wood fire and are so happy with it. It actually heats the whole house up. We have quite a large home but we do shut the doors that are near the spare bedrooms as we live the main area which consists of 2 lounge areas a kitchen and the main bedroom. When it gets really cold we put the fan on for only 10 minutes or so and boy it gets really hot. The fan is a little bit noisy though but we never have it on for very long. We love our fireplace.

Hi David, the firebox dimensions are 423W x 290H x 370D, the firebox has a 10 year warranty. It does not have a damper but it does have a air slide which controls the combustion rate and it also comes standard with a 3 speed fan. The RRP is $1495.00

I have just purchased a Saxon Rosewod wood heater and extremely happy with the heat and wood burn however the automatic fan function is frustrating and impractical. Can you please provide assistance regarding how to override the auto fan mechanism?

I am not sure but if you ask the retailer I’m sure they could tell you. We have only used ours a couple of times.
