My 05 Kia was working fine than I put degresser on the motor and a bucket of water over it. Bt problem is now the damn thing won't fire. It cranks over bt wont fire.
Checked all the fuse none are blown. Any ideas pls would help me out alot.

Depends on the engine type.
In general, water may be stopping the proper spark from occurring.
Water & electronics don't mix.
If it's a petrol engine, remove each spark plug cap, at each end on the lead, one at a time, and use CRC or RP7 to spray inside the plug cap before putting it back. Don't allow excess fluid to sit in the cap.
Then, using the CRC/RP7, spray any other exposed electrical connection that may have collected water.
By now, the engine may have already dried off & started working.

I assume by your question that you have a petrol (not diesel) Carnival.
This sort of issue is likely to be generic to any modern vehicle.
As it is effecting fuel & spark, Its could be ECU or a sensor. Best way to find out is with a diagnostic unit.
Obviously Kia will have one, but I don't know if other tuners will have access.

No idea I was told to buy June 2010 onwards and got a 2012 just over 4 years ago and still got an expensive probelm and the man that fixes them said that he fixed a 2016 same issues motor blowing smoke so I dont think any of them are any good worst decision I ever made buying a kia he also said don't buy the hyundai he fixes those as well

I have a 2009 carnival turbo diesel.it runs like a dream but will just suddenly cut out. It comes to a halt.if i turn the ignition off then immediately back on it starts and may not cut out again for days.i had egr ?valve replaced and the air intake duct to turbo also because it had a crack in it.it still cuts out! It seems to do it at lower speeds when slowing down.not at high speed fortunately. Fuel filter also new.any ideas?my mechanic is making lots of money!

Check for a bad earth starting at the battery terminals.
Did you find a solution for this. I had similar issue, mine was flat hesitation at 1500rpm’s. Code read was low rail pressure. So we are starting by replacing the rail meter reader. Wonder if issues are similar and what solutions you came up with
my 2010 is doing this also and comes up with turbo solenoid circit A and fuel pressure low and high we have replaced fuel rail wire harness sensor about to replace the sensor on the rail then do the turbo

Just replaced the idle air control valve on my 2004 Carnival LS. when I started it the motor ran smoothly. after about 2 mins it started to drop revs & miss so I removed the IAC & MAF connectors. This killed motor. I reconnected the two plugs then tried to start motor again but will not start. I have no taco or spark from the coils. I hope the repairs are not expensive as I can't afford it on the pension. Thank you in advance, Denis.

I brought a KIA CARNIVAL last year and theirs a problem when its start and running its make a lots of noisey sound didn't know what cause this sounds?

I’m not sure. Mine didn’t do that. Get it checked out, though, to make sure they fix in under warranted instead of trying to blame you.
What year is your KIA I also have noisy issues and vibrations when parking or reversing. Mines a 2011. Very unhappy took it back to dealer 4 times still hasn't been fixed :(

Would a passenger seat from a 2006 Kia carnival fit into a 2011 Kia carnival? A mouse has eaten through our middle seat that we had taken out and stored in the garage! Thanks

I do not believe that the Kia Carnival design had changed at all until 2015. So the seats should be interchangeable, but I would check to see if it fits before purchasing or check with the Kia manufacturer via there website first.

Hi all I have a family member with a 2008 Lia Carnival 2.7 auto that has just had the crank shaft completely break off...(I know right). So my question is should we look for a new 2.7 used it recond or go look for a 3.8 like the other models have? Will it fit? What to do?
