Hi KOgan Representative - I have purchased an item fro KOgan on 6 December and the initial Estimated Shipping has now passed an a generic emai response of Shipping Soon is not acceptable. This item is advertised as Australian Stock covered by Australian Warranty and IM curious why it takes so long to :process" let alone ship. My order number is 9HZ8MUWJ. I have sent them a further email as this is a Christmas present and cannot understand why it takes so long - Please clarify

Has anyone unknowingly purchased Kogan First $99 subscription? Kogan are sneaking $99 from unsuspecting people for a subscription service "Kogan First" during the checkout process. I'm in the process of fighting the $99 subscription with my wife which we didn't intend on purchasing. My wife purchased something for the first time from Kogan to find a sudden $99 charge on her credit card which she didn't (knowingly) authorize. We will be in contact with the ACCC next week and thinking of even getting A current affair involved to do an investigation into their sales tactics. Rule of thumb, STAY AWAY FROM KOGAN. Stick with eBay and Amazon, at least you know you wont be scammed.

I just had the same thing happen. I never signed up to it. I also can't afford to flush $99 down the toilet!

Hi Nire, we complained and had the money refunded, if they don't refund the money then take to the ACCC or i'm sure A Current Affair would love to get their hands on this! We won't ever be using Kogan again, that's for sure.

Hi Josh, we are in the same position and was wondering what you specifically stated to Kogan. We emailed Kogan and they said they will not be providing us the refund as it's against their 'policy'. It is completely unfair and unethical on the part of Kogan to charge us $99 for a service we did not knowingly authorise.

Hi Jori. They offer a 14 day "free trial" where you get free delivery on your first purchase. What they don't tell you is that once you click on the "free trial", you are automatically signed up for Kogan First which is $99 dollars per year and supposedly gets your free delivery for a year. The problem is that they do not tell you that the 14 day trial period is over and that you have effectively signed on to Kogan First without knowing. You have to go into your account to remove yourself from any further transactions. So I have paid $99 for a $42 purchase and I am never likely to use Kogan again. If you multiply this by the amount of customers who unknowingly signed on to this rort, they are making an absolute killing. I still maintain is is deceptive (at best) and extortion at worst. My bank told me that many people have been caught out by this type of sneaky behaviour.

I recently purchased a front loader washing Machines, which I am not happy about Ive contacted your people several times but I seem to have gotten blown off,
I purchased a 9kg front loader washing machine and I thought it was odd that it seemed to be only fitting washing same as a 6kg washing Machine, then my 7kg Dryer that i also purchased from you guys yesterday thats when I realised the major difference.

My question is if Im I know this not happy with my purchased due to the fact I was expecting a 9kg washing Machine but doesnt not seem like a 9kg and only fits 6kg washing in the drum, what happens to your customers do we just lump it?

Even though we are completely unsatisfied with the purchase?

I have already gotten to my 7day since I purchased the washing machine and I feel Im being stalled in order for your people to turn me down and use the 10 day purchasing policy on me

I would really like for this matter to be resolved, I asked to return the washing machine and asked for my money back but was thrown the change of mind policy at me.

Really disappointed and this was my first purchase with KOGAN.

Oh Lorraine, this is not right what they are doing to people.. Poor products and equally poor service.. This is also my first (and last) experience with them.. Now I'm nervous about getting my fridge that is also 3 weeks late.. Good luck in this torturous journey.. Don

Thank you for your comments.. praying that they just let me have my money back, dont get me wrong i am happy with the dryer I purchased from them, but I Guess I shouldve listen to my gut especially when purchasing major part of my house hold items, good luck when getting your fridge I found their delivery service is normally on par, also wish you all the luck with recieving your item

We are going through the exact same thing with our 9kg front loader. We replaced a7kg machine with it and it only seems like 5or 6. They are full off Shit at the help desk, I am going to put an ACCC report in about them, it's a joke..... They don't care at all, the alarm bells started to ring when I realised there was no phone number to call

Why is it when you search for a new Samsung s7, there is not option to sort them from new and used/refurbished. Have to sort thought 325 different ones to try find the cheapest new one. Not to mention the annoying spam that pops up telling you that someone bought this and this. i dont care that stacey from toowoomba has bought a rat trap.

Yes, they can be somewhat slow with delivery too. Seems we have to put up with poor customer service for the cheaper prices they offer.

I bought few things from them: portable air con, a stick vacuum, and they were fine, but if something wrong with a product there is a lot of hassle to fix or return.

I would like to buy a bar fridge from Kogan but Im concerned that if there is a problem with it Kogan will charge me for a return and not refund my delivery fee is this correct. Also would you refund for a product if it was delivered not working properly as it was designed to do.

I don't know what the policy is regarding returns as I haven't had any prob;ems with the goods I've bought, David. Yes I would expect a full refund if the product wasn't working

if you read the reviews plenty of people have had problems with getting their refund and being charged to pack the item back to Kogan and not being helped and poor customer service I just like to see what their customer service is like and get a guarantee they're going to give me a refund if there's a problem.

Bought item. Was a marketplace one.
Was faulty iPhone. Sent back.
No replacement as of yet and all support emails seem to be ignored now.
I need to speak to someone ideally before looking at claim via credit card or legal.

I am having a bad experience with Kogan, it is very frustrating that I am waiting for my order information. I placed order 1 week ago for an item in stock as given on the website. And yet there is no information as if the product dispatched or not. although I paid express postage.

Hi Aamir,I have purchased few items recently,with a problem.One item was factory faulty,I contacted Kogan and within a week I got new item in perfect working order.Another purchase had few scratches.I asked to have partial refund and got it.So far service desk has been great.As it is for delivery,I think it is Australia Post at fault.I waited over a week for delivery (another company),from Brisbane which is only 100km from my town on Gold Coast.Give them another go.Perhaps suggest to them to provide a buyer with more info about posting and delivery of their purchase,Good luck

No. She won't be able to use it straight away, she will need to get a suitable SIM card and connect the phone with a local carrier service, all of which should be simple enough to achieve.
