Casting Creme Gloss 500 Medium BrownI bought one box of L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme dye in the shade Medium Brown 500 for $14 NZD. I wish I could have that $14 back. I've never coloured my hair at home or at a salon, so I thought a semi-permanent would be a nice way to ease into it. I was very wrong. I mixed the solution and did a strand test, and it did not change my dirty blonde/brown hair at all, but I decided to go ahead with dying the entire thing anyway. I did both the roots and tips for 20 minutes, and then washed it out (very excitedly) only to find that it did absolutely
... Read more nothing. Before, my hair was a dark blonde/light brown with a few naturally occurring highlights from time outside. After using this product, my hair is barely half a shade darker and all my highlights (which were my favourite part of my hair) are now a dull blonde colour to match the original colour of my hair. Overall, extremely disappointed. Not only did it make SOME of my hair exactly what I was trying to change it from the rest stayed almost the exact same. I do not recommend this product in the slightest.
