The last few times I have used the Amber colour my hair has looked more brown than amber for a week or so - should I try reducing the time of application?
Also, what is the minimum time recommended between applications?

I personally wouldn't recommend this shade if you are wanting an orange/red hue. It's faded after a few weeks and couldn't be described as amber in any capacity. I'd try something else.

Yes, I have found that the colour is too dark for about a week, perfect for a week, and then quickly fades to a dried out, flat ginger shade after that.
Thank you for such a speedy reply! Do you have any other suggestions for this type of shade? The violet reds make my skin look anaemic (I was a natural ginger as a kid, freckles and all!).

After opening the casting cream gloss product how long will it take to expired ?

Hello dulshani k, not sure how long it lasts in total as my sister and I do our hair from the one pack at the same time. She has shorter hair, I have fine shoulder length hair and don't quite use 1/2 bottle of developer for my own hair.

Caz1310
Caz1310

The instructions advise to use it upon opening. I suspect the colour would oxidise after opening the tube. Recommend you contact the company for an accurate answer.

Hi, what volume is the developer please? I.e. 10vol, 20vol, 30vol etc.

The product doesn't contain peroxide

Hello Becky. Not sure what you mean with term vol when looking at the packing. The developer creme just says 2. When I use it I don't even use 1/2 the bottle of developer, so it can do 2 people. My hair is shoulder length and a bit fine.

Becky W.

All developer has a description of what volume of active ingredient is in it, 10 vol is very low and least damaging, 40vol is very high and can damage hair and scalp.

If you're not happy with the result from temporary hair colouring you can speed up the process of getting it out of your hair by washing your hair with dishwashing liquid...it lifts the colour.

Can i highlight using loreal creme gloss?

Caz1310

Hi - probably not - depends on what colour you're hair currently is compared to what colour you're planning to highlight with. Based on my experience of the colour being not at all like the photo on the box I wouldn't try it. If you're feeling adventurous go for it.

I am unclear with the RINSING which is number 3 of the pamphlet, whether I should rinse my hair thoroughly FIRST after the prescribed time and THEN put the conditioner on, OR, do I put the conditioner on BEFORE rinsing out the colour that has been applied for the prescribed time and then leave for the 2 minutes? I do not think the pamphlet makes it clear. Thank you, Gwenyth

I always rinse my hair thoroughly first then apply the conditioner. Leave the conditioner on for the time suggested and rinse again.
