I now can't stand any coffee I buy from a shop !
This machine is absolutely stunning to look at but more importantly if treated with the love and respect like any good Italian Machine should ( including their cars !) this machine makes the best coffee EVER. I love that it is manual and the quality of the coffee is a direct result of the effort and technique you use and not just a push of a button.. Yes .. like an Alfa Romeo.. it's temperamental, it's sensitive but all that fades away when you enjoy the whole experience of not only drinking the coffee but making it.. s and while it may take a little longer to prepare my 2 coffees every morning, it taks a whole lot less clean up than my previous Jura Semi Automatic which required regular and complicated time consuming cleaning.. I've got my method worked out now pretty well but am still suprised by it's idiosyncracies and still make an occasional failure of a coffee but each time it teaches me more. I find it very very hard to enjoy a coffee I buy now .. I'd rather wait till I get home and make my own La Pavoni.. you're simply the best..Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Cafe quality coffee at home!
Lots of positive feedback from friends and family about the unique appearance of the coffee machine. Downside is it takes a bit longer than a automatic coffee machine in the morning to heat up because of the boiler but the coffee it makes is amazing! Takes a bit of trial and error to get used to correct tampering and grind settings.

Coffee Perfection
This machine, being Italian, has it's foibles, but if you get the grind (super-fine), tamp (firm and even) and lever action right, this machine produces the best coffee I have ever had. Plus looking gorgeous on the bench top. It's a manual machine, so you can get the coffee just the way you like it.
Superb espresso coffee, great looking machine, love the manual aspect (no buttons, coffee done by feel rather than programme)
It can take a bit of extra time to use, and works best when everything is hot.
