Laser Clinics Australia

hi there,

does any one have a recommendation on the best Laser Clinic Australia to go to around the north side/Syd CBD or Northern beaches, where they have nice staff?
every time ive gone to laser hair clinics the staff their are horrible, they make you feel SO uncomfortable and are pretty unprofessional. it gives me anxiety having to go there knowing its not going to be a comfortable session.

Anyone got laser hair removal (underarms) at Indooroopilly store? Any feedback at all? Any specific person you can rcommend? The t&c sounds a bit ridiculous from what I have read in the review. If they claim to be as busy as they were, they should not be charging ppl for cancellation esp. those with legits excuse as I am sure they could always find someone else to fill in that appointment. Besides, ppl do have other things going on in their life. Hope LCA can review their t&c to be more flexible and keep those customers of yours happy.

Generally rude and unprofessional. I went to Aatman Wellness & Medispa instead. They were fantastic and really knowledgable. I'd give them a call.

Hi
Would like to know from some of the professionals out there how long should a Brazilian, underarm and half a leg laser treatment take. Mines took 20 minutes, and I am wondering if that is too short. Also, what do I prompt them next time to do, so I don't waste my 10 sessions with them being ineffective. I am really hoping this is not a sales gimmick with me purchasing 10 - them not doing a thorough enough job - and them me purchasing another 10 which makes their sale obsolete as your 10 does not get rid of all.

Hello! I usually get a full leg, Brazilian and underarms done and it takes around 20-30 min. I've had about 9 sessions now and it's been fantastic

I've had 12 IPL sessions for underarm and Brazilian. Had my first Laser today to target missed areas. IPL was painful into the higher settings on brazilian. Since I've not much hair remaining will I only get pain where there's remaining hair follicles?

Get laser instead of IPL. It is much safe and less painful as it uses a single beam of light as opposed to IPL which is broad spectrum and your skin absorbs the light too which can be painful, especially if you have darker skin. Laser doesn't do this. The Brazilian area is naturally more pigmented so is more painful with IPL.

Thank you vinnie for your reply. I'm into my third laser and so far hardly feel a thing.

I have recently gotten Laser Hair Removal done at an LCA clinic. Please help me understand how I was charged because it doesn't make sense.
I purchased
12 x $35 Brazillian & underarms = $420
1 x $19 Lip & Chin
4 x $29 Lip & Chin
1 x $30 Laser Aid Gel
TOTAL (should be) = $585
BUT i was charged $635.40 in total. Please explain?

Where the lip and chins $19 or $29 you have two different prices for the same thing. And also the laser aid cream by skinstitut is $45 not $30

I think it is better to avoid LCA all together. I had a leaser hair removal treatment done at LCA Drummoyne Sydney NSW. They burned my bikini area and left scarring. The clinic owner (franchise business so you have to deal with individuals not large corporates) refused to admit the mistakes. Now they also do not refund the unused sessions that I paid in advance unless you sign up the deed which says there is any error on the treatment .

Hi!! I had my lips done there by Melinda and they are great! I can't upload any pics on here unfortunately, but can tell you that she does take her time and listens to what you want. I had mine done 4 months ago and have noticed they are subsiding now, I suggest you go with the ultra plus like my bestie did - her lips are still full. It costs more but will last a LOT longer.

They don't generally place before and after pics due to client confidentiality. Malinda is fantastic.

Hi there!
In general the reviews don't look to promising for LCA. I've just moved to Sydney from Melbourne and go to Replenish in Armadale (incredibly professional, discrete, highly skilled - amazing!). I made an appointment for Macquarie Centre LCA for later this week. I'm not sure about going there and wonder if anyone can let me know their experience?

My concerns are there really seems to be no discretion, staff (although very young looked plastic - they all clearly had very fake lip fillers, fake lashes. I'm really concerned that I might come out looking frozen or plastic given this is the look of the clinic??? I understand each to their own but there was a definite look happening at this clinic and I would like natural enhancement and balance for my face and am a bit scared they may not do this?

I'd really appreciate anyone's feedback. I just want botox treatment for frown lines.

Thanks in advance!

I'm thinking of getting injectables on my forehead & between the eyes the 11's. At the ROBINA store. I've never had it done and would like some feedback from people who have been here & had good, bad or ugly results. What are the using? And if I do who do I get to do it?

Hi I'm not sure of the robina store. I didnt have the best reaction to dysport i preferred botox that i had done a year again somewhere else. The 11's i had botox at respect beauty and medicine in adelaide was great. So natural looking no pain no down time but i paid $330 (15units botox) for the 11's and laser clinics was $256 (turned out i had 65 units of dysport) for forhead and the 11's. I wished i went back to respect cos now i gotta wait till this lot of dysport wears off. Please go to a injecting doctor or cosmetic surgery to get it done. Cos i regret going to laser clinic

OUCH!!!

I've never had this done myself but have heard a lot of stories of people having bad results through LCA, not sure how much training the staff actually get. Too important to take a chance on this I reckon, you are doing it to make yourself look better but bad effects can look...well...pretty bad!

Hi, I am planning on booking one off those dermal filler deals they currently have on offer at their Werribee clinic. Has anyone been there for fillers? I'm a bit unsure now after reading some reviews, on their qualifications.

Hi,

I went there and saw Miriam for my first fillers. She was very gentle and made me feel comfortable even though I was nervous. Rally happy with the results - nice and natural!

Trudi

Don't worry about the qualifications - you need to be a Doctor or Div1 nurse and both are trained exactly the same for injecting.
The injector at Werribee is ahhhh-mazing, you need to make sure you book in because she is in quite high demand.

I had it once and it went wrong.
Depends what kind of Botox that you are going to get.
Mine was jaw reduction and I can't smile properly for 3 months.
You should do research on the specialist.
I did complain to the company and they gave me a voucher because they did it wrong.
But maybe it was just the specialist who injected my face wasn't experience enough.

Hi, I had Botox for my crows feet on Saturday. This is my first time and it takes up to two weeks to fully come to effect. So far my lines are a lot softer, not completely gone, but softer. People were telling me yesterday how well I was looking so I will take that as a good sign. I found it fairly easy, didn't hurt and the injections themselves took about 30 seconds. I didn't bruise and only had one red dot on one side of my face so that was good. The explanations and signing of stuff took about 20 minutes. I'm pretty happy so far and hope that my lines continue to improve.

Hi! Can you please tell me what settings I should expect my machine to be on for the first laser hair removal treatment and does it get higher, etc.? I went to Laser Clinics Aus and they used the Candela GentleLase Pro on me. The machine was on 8 joules but from reading around, this seems very low? I have light skin with dark hair. Thank you!

Hi sweety, not for hair removal, I meant for facial rejuvenation. Sorry if I didn't make that clear :)

You will notice not before a month hair will start to grow back softer. But in my exoerience the laser treatment was rushed and did not zap any of my hair follicles. So a week after laser the hair that I'd shaved in preparation for laser grew back. This Plc is dodgy and I wouldn't trust them. I ended up going back to my original laser clinic and it's been three weeks now and no hair growth. I won't risk trying another Plc again. Hope this information helps.
