Poor Quality and Customer Service
Poor Quality and Customer service. Bought the LEM 366L SS from Appliances Online. Despite a 24 months warranty, The Fridge stopped working in only 9 months. I called Appliances Online and they raised the ticket to Lemair cause the product is still under the manufacturer's warranty. Lemair took another day to raise this ticket to a contractor. Their contractor just told me it will likely be another 24 hours before they can send anyone. So, I have to be 3 days without a fridge before my Lemair fridge can be looked at. And who knows if once they...Read more
do, they'll have the parts to fix it on the spot. In this process, I also realised that the products review within appliances online may be flawed as they request customer feedback 2 weeks after purchasing the Product instead of leaving the reviews open, so people is able to capture their experience with the product over a longer time span and once they have had the opportunity to test the product. That may be one reason why this Lemair product may have had OK reviews at Appliances Online at the time of purchase, which swayed me into buying it. I suspect product rating would be more representative of the actual customer experience if the review facility was left open indefinitely.
Purchased in December 2021 at Appliances Online for $519.00.

Cheaper option
Good cheap option, I found it was a much cheaper option on the market. I purchased on appliances online & found their service amazing & best prices.
The fridge keeps steady temperature & is of good quality. Only thing to be aware of that I have found is that it makes a lot of strange noises, kind of like gargling but its not constant.

Utterly useless
Ours is 3 years old. The seals last around 12 months, we are just about to buy the 3rd set in three years. Yes, the fridge was cheap & yes I should have known better but really ? Surely fridge seals are easy and fridges are hard. Possibly a good business model. Terrible, just avoid this one...

Not great not bad
We have had a lemair fridge/feezer for over 10 years in a hot and cold garage. Until recently no problems. It is just starting to play up and we are replacing it with a larger and more efficient fridge. As with everything, things are changed or manufactured elswhere, newer models may be rubbish.

Failed after 4 years
My fridge lasted 4 years. The gas escaped into the side wall so the fridge could not be repaired or re-gassed. The rest of the fridge was in excellent condition. I don't think it was cheap; the environmental cost of appliances like this is greater than the financial outlay and together it adds up to an offensive amount of waste. I think that if a simple leak cannot be repaired, then the design is faulty.
The customer service was through a local refrigeration repair company which repairs many brands. They were really prompt and careful in their assessment of the situation.
