Poor to no service
Went in today wanting pendants beautiful shop, no customers except me, 2 staff there not one approached me, not even a hello!!!!

Customer service was good and I was contacted quickly. The store manager Robyn contacted me and I went back into the store. Robyn was very helpful and what I wanted was in stock.

Rubbish
DO NOT BY EGLO fans of this company. The lights could possibly burn your house down. They start off by blowing one of the three possible lights then you change to different light setting, then they heat up that much that all the plastic starts to melt. Then you take the lights back to this company and they charge you $200 to fix 3 lights. You will have a constant worry your house will burn down!

Sold me a fan not in stock and discontinued by manufacturer but still advertising it and taking $
Lighting Illusions sold me a fan that's not in stock and no longer available from the manufacturer. They took 10 days to advise me of this when I should've been notified within a couple days at the most - and the product is still advertised and able to bought now!
I ordered another one through Ceilingfansdirect as it has a different phone number and different website so I assumed it's a different company, and that they fortunately still had some of this discontinued fan in stock. I got my initial receipt from them, then next day get 2nd up...

I'm waiting on almost $300 refund and can't even buy this fan elsewhere now as I need those funds! It's against the law in Australia to advertise and sell items you know you can't get and this fan is still on your website right now and anyone can buy it. Taking money for them now is called 'theft'

Normally this process only takes a couple of days at most but being Xmas a lot of the wholsalers are closed and we don’t find out straight away. This is why it has taken a little longer then normal to let you know. If we find out that a product is no longer available we promptly contact the customer and either offer a refund or give them an alternative. So again I am sorry it has taken longer then normal in this case. Being Saturday the online office is closed, however if you can let me know your order number I will get that refund processed for you today. I will also look into why the fan is still listed as this may have just been human error and overlooked.Hey,

Very poor after-sales product support
We purchased 4 off Martec Albatross 72" ceiling fans of which one fan was faulty out of the box with a un-serviceable control unit. Lighting Illusion took no responsibility for the fault; insisting we contact Martec direct for the warranty. Martec have not been terribly prompt to fix our problem either.
Not interested in store policy - we paid Lighting Illusion for our product!!

Sorry to hear about your issue here. If the fan is installed we normally get the service agent, in this case Martec to lease directly with you as they need to arrange a time to send an electrician out to site in order to fix the issue up.

My problem was how quickly your company fobbed me off to the manufacturer. Too late now - will not recommend or use Lighting Illusions again. Also I will be making a complaint to ACCC as I doubt your policy in this is legal.

Customer Service what a Joke
Purchased several products from Lighting Illusions store less than 2 weeks ago. This included 3 Martec ceiling fans for our new house which is under construction, Our electrician installs the fans and when he was completing his testing he found one ceiling fan was faulty.
No problem just go to the store and swap it as we just purchase them this is when it started

Don't know when the lights will turn up and still act as if it's not their fault
No service.. No call to advice it's going to be late.. I think they can do better than this.
Ordered the lights two weeks ago, was advised maximum will take 7 workings day, won't be longer than that, and this first day is excluded.
We called after 5 working day, nothing turned up.
Called again on the 8th working days, still nothing and we need to follow up on our order instead of getting a quick call on ETA, their service is poor.

Failing To live up to their promises/telling lies
I ordered some fan switches and paid for them plus the shipment by credit card on a Monday. They told me that the goods will arrive on Wednesday. They did not arrive and I had to swallow a call out fee by an electrician . I called them on Wednesday and asked for them. They said the first one was lost by the Australia Post. Australia Post did not accept that when I called them with a tracking number. So Lighting Illusions lied. They said it will arrive on Friday( 5 days later) . Shipment distance was 56 KM. Terrible people, terrible service.
Managers did not answer phones and refused to deal with costumer except on in another branch ( McGregor)
Who was helpful. Will never buy anything from this crowd.
Rubbish
The packing method used to ship these items is appalling to say the least. Both boxes have been damaged and squashed fragile tape was used to hold the boxes together. I was planning on giving the lamps as xmas gifts.
After speaking the web store support number I was told that its Australia Posts problem and I was welcome to send back the damaged boxes at my expense.
The problem is that Light illusions didn’t pack the items correctly. I was informed that even if I purchase and $800 light it may or may not turn up in the same condition??

Bought over a week ago, items still not sent out. When I enquired as to the delay, they told me they "just found out" that some items were back ordered until DECEMBER, and one item was no longer being made. Clearly have no idea how to run an online business. Have continually tried to blame the supplier, as though it's the supplier's job to keep me updated on the availability of items in their store. Hilarious. Will never buy from them again - buyer beware.

still waiting for my products
Very slow postage. Approaching 2 weeks and still not receive the items. Downlights that I bought from another online store at the same time arrived on 4 days ago. If you want to get your items fast stay away from lighting illusions.

Would you please advise what brand of LED downlight (10W-25W approximately) is the most reliable - all the reviews of brands I've managed to find give pretty much all brands a very low rating for reliability and actual warranty experience - price to me is not the most important consideration.
Being dim-able is important.
