A great product, cant luve with out it!
I first saw this product at a baby expo. I was not going to get a monitor as many friend said that they did not use theirs much. And i am so glad that i brought this product, it puts my mind at ease, especially that i can see and hear my baby. With so many great functions eg. a night light, talk back, nursery rhymes, recording and room temperature just to name a few. . The main concerrn for me was that there was going to be no interferance and that no one was able to 'tune in' to the frequency of my monitor, which in this case it has its own frequency. All round a great product and i have definatley got my moneys worth. Only able to buy this product at one place in australia, but got a great deal and it was delivered to me the next day. I bought this baby monitor about 6 months ago and absolutely love it!
The picture is very clear and it's literally a flick of the on/off button to use.
My bedroom is at one end of the house and my sons is at the other, so I was desperate for a baby camera monitor so I wouldn't have to get up to every sound I heard. After reading other reviews and reading up about this particular monitor, I knew it had to be the Luvion.

ce sounds. When family babysit they tend to watch the camera like its a movie! It can be slightly addictive to begin with. If I was to fault it it would only be that the hand held camera monitor does not have a belt clip. As I also use the Angelcare Sensor Monitor in conjunction with the Luvion and I also carry around my mobile phone everywhere, the belt clip would have been really handy. Good for 2 days but I find it temperamental after that.
My husband and I decided on this monitor after doing so much research about baby monitors. We have been using it for about 6 weeks now. It was great for the first 2 days then it starts to be very temperamental. The screen would not switch on !!!! even when it is fully charged or even when the power is plugged in. Then the camera would not go back on, and it does it randomly. I did email the seller but all she/he suggested was if I had it all fully charged and plugged in properly, I did all that prior to even working the device and I read the in...Read more
struction book cover to cover. I work in a healthcare profession, working in minute details is in my job description and I believe we have a faulty monitor. Unfortunately, after replying to my first email, the seller did not reply back when I told them of my troubles with the monitor and yes, all is fully charged and plugged in with their appropriate cord. So much for waranty and care for consumers. I have now bought a second monitor, Phillip, I use both now, at least I will not freak out when the Luvion decided to have a mental break down. So, all mums and dads out there, be aware....expensive item does not mean it is better. Great monitor when it works or when I managed to get it back on ! Very temperamental (which is a worry), Expensive (worth it if it works), unreliable

I suggest you contact them and return it. I am so happy with mine and have not had any problems and Ive had it for about 10months now. Maybe yours is just a faulty set?!

h suddenly after charging it the screen won't turn on. Nothings happening its like death. Just blank black screen like when it is off mode. So I contacted the customer service, they ask me to sent the parent unit only n until now im still waiting for them to repair. Received the email from them n said it seems the the internal circuit has broken n asked me did I drop it. No I never ever drop it. Its just suddenly death. Have u contact the customer service yet? Don't believe the hype
I looked here at the 5 reviews with 5 stars before buying, and other review sites. I don't get the ratings. When I see something has 5 out of 5 stars by all reviewers, I think "This must be perfect with little room for improvement". Wrong. I tossed up between 1 and 2 stars, and decided with 1 because at the end of the day, when I compare this to the phillips one we borrowed that is >5 years old and just audio, if I had my time again, I would choose the basic phillips model, over the self proclaimed "possibly best, digital video baby monitor to ...Read more
hit the market". For starters the picture is blatant false advertising, it's been photoshopped completely, the screen a) is not that wide b) is no where near that sharp or bright. I kid you not, the black boarder around the actual screen is markedly larger than that shown in the online 'pictures'. Unbelievable. It's also missing a lot of very basic features, admittedly eluded to by others, that things like cell phones 10+ years ago had. It beeps every time the buttons are pushed. How can you not add an option in to disable this... The lullabies it plays are almost indistinguishable, think of the most crackly phone conversation you've had being played on the very first 0.5inch speaker ever made, again, 10+ year old cell phones ringtones have more clarity and less distortion than this. The kicker. You can't use it on audio only mode! You can not use it like a basic normal baby monitor, when audio is coming through, the screen will always be on. Ridiculous, who designed this thing :/ There is a 'zoom' option on the control to zoom in. To zoom in you press menu, then settings, then down down right, then select zoom, then down to 2x instead of 1x, then select, then menu again to exit.... Beep beep beep beep beep. Really? Really? The manufacturers website actually contains no useful information about the product, no features or specifications, just pure marketing dribble. The delay! The talkback has about a 3 second delay before it starts. But even the baby noise coming through is delayed.9 comments

o much, you have to press the (very small) key for a few seconds and only then you can talk into it. Also i noticed that the audio fails for a few seconds, even when you are not touching the device itself and the screen stays on. When you try to talk into the handheld device, the audio doesnt come through at the receiving end of it. My conclusion would be to not buy it for the specs they say it has. If you want a Babymonitor that just shows the baby and you forget the other specs, then its ok.I think this product is great, at the end of the day the monitor isnt a baby sitter or a reason to not get off your backside and attend to your baby if they are distressed enough that you need to chat... plistic and the unit itself easy to operate, in fact you become quite obsessed and start watching your baby out of pure fascination.. One of my concerns for Luvion Baby monitor was whether it would reach back to the monitor because our house has so many corners and it also has a steel frame, you hear so many other mum's saying that their units have interference and they are crackily and drop in and out of service . Not this baby monitor.. Everything that it states that it will do, it does. Visually - perfect... Clarity of audio - perfect... Customer service - perfect. If you are humming and haaaing about getting one like i did then don't, you wont be disappointed.. What i like about this product, lots of things ..I like how if my little girl starts crying and i can see she is just wanting some attention i can turn the light on from the parent unit, i like being able to turn the music on. I researched so many video monitors and found this one to have everything I wanted! Since receiving this monitor I have not been disappointed. I don't know how I survived without it.
Refer to my pros and cons. There are so many good things about this monitor - no other video monitors I could find had all these features.

Does everything a baby monitor should!
We've had this for about a week now and it's simply amazing. The picture and audio quality are excellent, the menu and operation are very straightforward and simple to use. The scan mode is really useful as it saves the battery and alerts you when the baby either makes a loud noise or moves a lot.
Great quality audio and video, simple to use, great value for money
The lullabies don't sound fantastic, but we use our own CD player and lullabies anyway so it doesn't really matter

Luvion Grand Elite - brilliant video baby monitor!
We are stoked with our monitor, I did a fair bit of research and nothing came close to this one. It has so many great and practical features and definitely eases my mind when I can see bub clearly the whole time he is napping.
I would definitely recommend this to others - its the top of the range when compared to other video baby monitors!

Yes, you can do this on the Grand Elite 3 Connect by pressing the first button (has a little house) icon) on top of the monitor and then selecting the first icon that appears onscreen (crying baby). Select the preferred sound sensitivity and then press the red 'off' to 'on' to activate.

Hi, we have a luvion grand elite baby monitor.
I have 2 questions, am I the only one who thinks the sound sensitivity is a bit poor? Unless my baby cries loudly we won't hear anything!
And secondly the monitor all of a sudden is not working! There is a huge black mark on the picture and lots of blurry lines! So now not only we can't hear properly we can't even see the baby! Is there anyway I could connect the camera to my iPhone?

Hi, I'm not aware of any smart phone interface but that certainly doesn't mean it doesn't exist, I'm just not aware! Also it sounds silly and I'm sure u have but is your volume on camera up full? My baby only ever had to make a slight whinge and I could hear clearly! Hope this helps...
