I purchased a small set of steps and they caved in on the third use. I have contacted Megamail three times by email and no response……

Received item in good order and store navigation was easy. No "prize" included in parcel and mailing bag had not been tampered with. I guess I was lucky to receive the item I ordered.

The love of the garbage that's sold by this "store" must only be described as low expectations, or the rave reviews have been bought and paid for as no sane person could seriously be impressed with what Magnamail offers.
I emailed this company months ago to stop the bombardment of magazines that are sent and they're still coming.

I am very disappointed in this whole scheme ….. I have been sucked in time and again. I am a pensioner and cannot afford to keep purchasing in order to keep my potential “winnings” still going. The postage is often in excess of purchase. The last catalogue was full of costly, cheap jewellery, which I have no use for. I am therefore forgoing my potential big win.

Their blurb about winning is that you have won UP TO $20,000. You have to assume that what you have won is probably worth $1.00 give or take. They are clever on their wording but they are not lying. When I have received a "prize" it's usually a clock of some kind (worth about $8.00 or so) but they do not "promise" a big cash prize. Unfortunately people don't read these things carefully. The only thing that bothers me is that you have to place an order to get your "prize". That's dishonest. I suspect that if anyone actually DOES win a big prize they probably place a big order. I wouldn't recommend them normally. I only use them when I cant find what I need anywhere else and get desperate.

Terrible quality products. They get yr name/address if you've ever subscribed to Readers Digest which they own so expect more.

Deceptive mail out claiming you have won, its junk jewellery, they pray on the vulnerable in our society. I can't get them to stop sending the letters despite returning them, emailing them numerous times and calling them.

Targeting the elderly and vulnerable this organisation promises "your name has emerged as a CONFIRMED WINNER' and cannot be reached

People who have written saying the MagnaMail promotions are a scam have not read the instructions and the prize list. I Am quite aware that the majority of prizes up for "winning" are just pure rubbish, but some of the items they actually sell are not too bad, and can be useful. One item I did buy from them was broken on delivery, I returned it to them for replacement, and the replacement was smashed to pieces. It's a total Scam, in order to win something you have to buy something. There stuff is total junk stuff you'll find in a $2 shop.

Magnamail takes advantage of vulnerable people such as my 85 year old mother with its deliberately misleading prize promotions. They are worded and styled in such a way as to make vulnerable people, such as my mother, believe they have won a large cash prize when in fact they have not. Have bought from Magnamail infrequently for many years however have been disappointed by many of the products. The last straw was a brochure saying I had won a prize (from a prize I supposedly was eligible for from a recent order) but have to place another order to claim it! Only one item I use in the catalogue and it is $18.90 however the same product is available from Chemist Warehouse for $2. No more orders from me.
