My brother and his wife highly recommended their Makin Bellissimo so I went into the Newcastle store and spoke with Annette the salesperson. Great service, excellent knowledge and advice, so glad I didn't waste time at a department store and opted for specialist advice instead, top shelf service, really happy all round with the mattress and the experience

We brought a king base from the south side store, all done over the phone, the customer service from start to finish (Delivery) was amazing, they were friendly and helpful

I purchased a Siesta Plus QB mattress online from Makin Mattresses and opted for delivery. They phoned me the following day to confirm a delivery date and as promised, I received a confirmation text of the delivery window. On the day of delivery, the staff arrived within the scheduled timeframe and were very helpful. Bought a new caravan mattress from these guys. Their staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Store personal helped put the mattress in our van in an efficient and friendly manner. Best part - their Australian Made!!! You can even see them making the mattresses at their warehouse/shop.

2 matresses collapsed after 4 months use.
1 substitute that was thin like a caravan matress, not a plush 2.5k that we paid for.
When i asked manager Jackson what i was covered for under warranty he replied "why do you want to know?" A magistrate will decide that i guess.

To be honest we only wanted to purchased a new mattress as we wanted a King Bed. Our old one was not over 5 yrs old yet. Decided to buy a king and our Son has our old mattress. After looking at other mattress we decided to go with Makin Mattresses. Best decision ever. I usually take at least a month to really get use to a new mattress but this one the Bellissimo soft king has changed only taken a couple of days. Now I look forward to jumping into bed sooooo comfortable.

The only totally flippable, customisable and guaranteed comfort mattress. With a 5 yr comfort guarantee you can change it if your situation changes. Our old mattress wasn’t flippable and even though we turned it my husband side went saggy. When we got our new mattress I no longer woke up stiff and sore. I can’t rave about the Bellissimo mattress enough.

Required a custom sized mattress for an inherited weird sized bedframe. Phoned up the closest centre (Newcastle) and explained what I was after. They emailed me a form and 10 days later I had my mattress. Super friendly, super efficient and the mattress was exactly as described. Will DEFINITELY be shopping there again.

Great to know that we have supported a local Australian company, keeping locals employed and NOT buying something made in China!! Friendly and helpful staff made the experience even better. Very happy with the mattress as it is double sided so it can be rotated. There is a huge range for every budget. I would never buy the overpriced one sided mattresses from China ever again!!

Who knew there was a locally made bed for the plus size boy and girl. Perfect night's sleep. Great service from the store manager at Nundah and delivery team were on time and awesome. A made to order slumber paradise for plump people. All delivered within a short time. Very impressive local company.

We purchased a Makin Mattress after seeing the TV commercial, went down and did the obligatory 5 minute lay on it, felt ok, Bellissimo after we took it home perfect.

We were impressed by the knowledgeable staff who directed us to the mattress to best suit our needs; their willingness to work with us to meet our needs within our budget & the flexibility in delivery as we realised at the last minute that we would require home delivery & they diverted the truck to drop off to our door

The service was great, staff friendly and not pushy, allowed us to check mattresses after they explained all the different ones by ourselves. Answered questions we had and promptly. After we chose the one we wanted and paid for it, it was delivered on the day we asked for and within the time frame they said. The delivery guys were great, friendly and professional. We are absolutely happy with our purchase would recommend the Bellissimo range beds.

Exactly what we expected. Good quality, comfortable, value for money and made in Australia. The separate pillow top is easy to rotate. I hope we still love it in a few years!

We received great service from Christine, the availability to template the mattress was crucial to fit the Caravan bed base, time frame was great, mattress extremely comfortable and cut perfectly to shape of template. we did notice a variance in height, specs said 190mm but measured 120mm when picked up. Overall service was good and quality itself was great . Would definitely recommend

Purchased a natural comfort wool latex pocket mattress a year ago $1,300. Now it’s like sleeping on a sack of potatoes. Big divots where we sleep, roll- together is a major problem. I spend all night fighting my way to the edge of the bed.no amount of flipping and turning of the mattress has made any difference. Stay away from this one.

We went to the Thomastown store Froncine was great to deal with the mattress we bought is fantastic we are both now getting a good night sleep plus the fact that we can rotate the mattress as needed also the drawers underneath come in very handy for the bed linen we would definitely recommend

I ordered and bought a Matilda caravan mattress from Makin Mattresses (Brisbane South) in early January 2020. I needed it within a week for a week-long caravan trip. Not only did they complete my 'made to measure' mattress 5 days before I needed it, it made my trip really worthwhile.
I have never had such a good sleep in my caravan and while we copped 200mm of rain in Northern NSW, we slept soundly, high and dry on a bed as comfortable as any I have ever slept on.

My new bed from Makin Mattresses is perfect. Prior to purchasing I shopped around but no-one else could supply what I wanted. The base on castors is easy to move away from the detached headboard which helps making the bed a lot easier than my old bed, not to mention vacuuming the floor! The double sided quality mattress is very comfortable - exactly the right choice. Everything was in stock and delivery was prompt and efficient. I couldn't be happier with the overall experience.

What a wonderful experience it was buying from Makin Matresses. I wasn't pressured and the staff listened and catered to my needs while advising and supporting me in decision making. We had an excellent and very informative experience purchasing a mattress super happy with what we bought its like a cloud and we can flip it over both top and bottom and rotate regularly so no one area wears out like it did with the other mattress. We found dealing direct with Makin Mattresses as a manufacturer was very enlightening.
They impressed us with their range and unique method of construction, all of which was explained to us by knowledgeable staff. Added to this is their Comfort Guarantee which we found irresistible for our first purchase of a queen Bellissimo Duet 2000 and the choice of a base with storage drawers was a nice touch.
Subsequently, we purchased a pair of single Siesta mattresses and drawer bases to replace the old beds in the guest bedroom. All were delivered and installed by staff obviously proud of the product they were handling.
