I ordered and bought a Matilda caravan mattress from Makin Mattresses (Brisbane South) in early January 2020. I needed it within a week for a week-long caravan trip. Not only did they complete my 'made to measure' mattress 5 days before I needed it, it made my trip really worthwhile.
I have never had such a good sleep in my caravan and while we copped 200mm of rain in Northern NSW, we slept soundly, high and dry on a bed as comfortable as any I have ever slept on.

My new bed from Makin Mattresses is perfect. Prior to purchasing I shopped around but no-one else could supply what I wanted. The base on castors is easy to move away from the detached headboard which helps making the bed a lot easier than my old bed, not to mention vacuuming the floor! The double sided quality mattress is very comfortable - exactly the right choice. Everything was in stock and delivery was prompt and efficient. I couldn't be happier with the overall experience.

What a wonderful experience it was buying from Makin Matresses. I wasn't pressured and the staff listened and catered to my needs while advising and supporting me in decision making. We had an excellent and very informative experience purchasing a mattress super happy with what we bought its like a cloud and we can flip it over both top and bottom and rotate regularly so no one area wears out like it did with the other mattress. We found dealing direct with Makin Mattresses as a manufacturer was very enlightening.
They impressed us with their range and unique method of construction, all of which was explained to us by knowledgeable staff. Added to this is their Comfort Guarantee which we found irresistible for our first purchase of a queen Bellissimo Duet 2000 and the choice of a base with storage drawers was a nice touch.
Subsequently, we purchased a pair of single Siesta mattresses and drawer bases to replace the old beds in the guest bedroom. All were delivered and installed by staff obviously proud of the product they were handling.

Need a new caravan mattress and was the only place in Newcastle where you could test them out. Service was great and made to our measurement. Only took a week to make which was quicker then estimated. Would highly recommend.

We purchased four single bed Siesta mattresses for the kids and Belissimo Duet 2000 mattress for us (parents). We also purchased base with drawers, bed head and linen. All this was delivered from Newcastle to Sydney without a hitch. All the staff we spoke to at Newcastle were friendly and extremely helpful (as were the delivery guys). They answered every question accurately and gave advice without trying to up sell. We changed the quote several times and had no problem - all our changes were made efficiently. The most important thing...the beds are super comfortable and look amazing!! Could not fault this company.

I purchased my makin mattress in December 2018. Excellent service from Kay at the Adelaide store. Also, called them a few months later to enquire on "comfort promise", &, without hesitation my mattress was picked up by 8am, & re delivered by lunch time. All reconfigured as a firmer mattress. No extra charge. I recommend makin to anyone looking for great quality & service. Local to!! Best night sleeps now. :)

Purchased the Bellissimo 2000 in February 2017 and found it firmer than expected but still very comfortable. A change in personal circumstances required the topper to be adjusted. After contacting the store this was able to be done for free using the customer comfort promise . This adjustment process was extremely easy and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
