Adjustable base and mattress.
Problems with adjustable motor was out of warranty but customer service was outstanding. Replacement motor sent and now working as before. The teams at both Sleepys and Sleepmakers seem to work well together.

A real let down!
Claim Ref. #619840
Last year in November, my husband and I bought a $2400.00 Beautyrest Gold Phoenix FIRM mattress at the Harvey Norman Super Store Erina. A substantial amount of money for a mattress, wouldn't you say?
After three months, both of us started to wake up with persistent morning back pain. When we began to investigate this rapidly progressing loss of firmness and support, the upper layer had started to sag (on both sides) between the shoulders and the buttocks. It has now an indent close to 35 mm. While we accept that all mattres...Read more
ses eventually sag over a reasonable period, we believe that a FIRM MATTRESS should not start losing its firmness after a few months, especially when it has been rotated frequently, as suggested by the manufacturer. We complained to Sleepmaker, send them the required photos for our mattress to be assessed. The reply was a generic answer which did not address the issues at hand, namely the loss of firmness of a firm mattress and our back pain. It was, according to the experts part of a normal wearing of our mattress. Sorry, Sleepmaker but we do not believe that one can assess the loss of firmness of a mattress unless one lies on it and experiences it overnight. Photographs are a useless tool to determine these issues. Moreover, if we want to have the matter investigated any further, we'll have to pay $100 for the transportation costs. And if the Sleepmaker experts, once again, find no manufacturing faults, we'll have to pay an extra $50. Well-done Sleepmaker, very impressed with your aftercare customer service. It looks like you neglecting to take care of your clients' back while well covering yours. One star for me, none if I could.

Warranty you can trust
After 7 years, our SleepMaker mattress developed a dip and we sent a complain via Domayne (seller). The mattress was very expensive, but very happy it came with a 10+15 years warranty.
It was a very pleasant support team that guided us though some checks and in the end, a very helpful team of removalists came and picked up the old mattress (we were provided a temp. mattress during this time) and after a few weeks we were asked to go back to Domayne to test and pick a new mattress (because the old one was not sold anymore). A week later, a mattress was delivered.
Thanks MJ at SleepMaker for making a warranty claim so easy.
We now enjoy a new SleepMaker mattress!

Too hot despite being a advertised as a cool mattress
Sleepmaker Ravello Medium Ultra Plush
Comfortable mattress but hot to sleep on
Both myself and my parter have to keep moving to cooler parts of the bed.
I asked my daughter to try it without telling her anything about my experience.
After 5 min in the bed she said its comfortable but its really hot.
The selling point for me was the advanced copper infused cooling system.
Extremely disappointed.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced from Daivd Jones and Sleepmaker
I was searching for a new mattress . Found one at David Jones Chadstone. i went there 3 times and also took my daughter .
i purchased the mattress and base from Sleepmaker in DJ and spent over 10k.
3 weeks later i was so excited it was coming. Turned up and It was a firm mattress and i purchased medium plush. Cant even say how disappointed i was.
On notifying DJ I went in with my daughter who also agreed it was way to firm. I was told to expect firmer. The lady was very nice but couldn't help as it was pre ordered and thats what i got.

Terrible after-purchase care
Bought a Sleepmaker Hamilton memory foam mattress a few years ago. The support has now failed on one side of the bed and is clearly sagging with any sort of body weight. Despite being within warranty, and despite having a bed frame from the same company, they refuse to admit fault and honour the warranty. be warned, Sleepmaker appear great at first but if you have any sort of problem they don't want to know about it.

Perfect solution for different styles of sleepers
We recently bought 2 long single Lifestyle Sleepmaker mattresses to put together to make a king bed. For us it is the perfect solution because one of us is a very light sleeper and the other a deep but very active sleeper. Sleepmaker offered the perfect solution for us with 2 long singles.

Super Convenient & Comfortable.
I recently bought the SleepMaker 101 'bed in a box' from Myer. The box was easily loaded it into the back of my Mazda 3 hatch. Took no effort to get the box up my tricky stairwell (hence the reason for the bed in a box) and took matter of minutes to unpack and load onto my bed base.
In terms of comfort, I was initially concerned that with it being a foam mattress that it would be too soft. However, the mattress distributes your body weight well giving it a nice soft but firm feel. Very happy with the comfort of this mattress and I highly recommend it.

Super comfortable
Bought a Sleepmaker Spirit Plush mattress and base. I sleep on my side and find this mattress is great for that. My hip and shoulder used to feel uncomfortable in my old bed but are fine on this. MYER staff were friendly and helpful

So comfortable Sleepmaker Maison cortona mattress
Our new bed was delivered 3 days ago and we love how comfortable it is. Susan from David Jones in the Bourke St Mall was very informative and knowledgeable about the product and was instrumental in us purchasing out new cortona mattress, base with drawers and head board.

Questions & Answers
gary g.asked
why is it taking almost 3 months to have a brand new mattress picked up for inspection? When you pay for a product you expect it to be exactly what you ordered. Ours is definitely not what we ordered. A simple site inspection by a representative would attest to that. But no, we have to go through a plethora of idiotic photo taking, from every angle, twice, sending stuff back and forth, waiting for the next response and so it goes. "sorry. xmas is coming so we have to wait until the end of January". Stuff that, what planet do you think we come from? Darn well get on with it, You sent me a dicky product and I want it replaced and not in 3-4 months time. If your quality control was working you would have very few complaints and less people employed in your customer service call centre. As I've spent 30 years of my working life in customer service I can help you with that if you wish, and you certainly seem to need some advice.

Hi Anne, I bought the Dakota Deluxe Plush for the guest bedroom about 10 months ago and everyone that has slept on it has raved about it. I rang Harvey Norman yesterday and bought the exact same one for my bed I’ll be having my first sleep on it tonight. Very happy with them.

Our mattress also recently did this. We did the warranty thing pics as well and got told this is normal. Crap i say. Tell my sore back that. Sleepmaker just wont honour there 10 year warranty. Warranty means nothing . Its just a sales pitch.
Sleep Ninja X.SleepMaker
Hi there - the warranty is a manufacturing warranty so if there is a manufacturing fault of course we will honour it. Can you please send through your claim number so we can further investigate your case?
