The mother of ACDC Tig welders . . . literally #UPDATE - please see below#
#UPDATE - I recently received a question asking me where I actually purchased this welder. When I tried to look him up on eBay (where I located item), the seller is no longer registered. His profile is still there though (unique-welders ( 228) ) I did receive good service from him and, so far, I love my welding machine 8) . . . but, although his (+) reviews far outweigh the (-), apparently not all purchasers agree This welder, rebranded is still readily available and the seller did tell me he owns the factory in China, whatever that may impl...Read more
y # 1) It works extremely well. This is my first welder and It would be a while before I could properly use all its adjustments, so I paid a welding professional to test it out. Result . . . FAULTLESS!!! and VERY CAPABLE 8D 2) This seems to be the original. I love researching stuff before I buy (the internet can be an amazing thing) and this welder was no exception. This merchant's welders seem to be the same machines sold as/by other brands . . . Rossi, Weldsmart, Unimig, Boswell, all be it with their paint, stickers and sometimes aerodynamic body kits . . . and price tags. I could be wrong, but have a look yourself. 3) It doesn't have an aerodynamic body kit so, although I'm a novice, I don't feel I look like a pratt. 4) If you do buy one and live in Melbourne, save the shipping and pick it up yourself. The merchant seems like a really nice/interesting guy, so you can get that "I don't mind spending my hard-earned here" thing. Seems very capable, good quality and great value. Nothing for me.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hi Phil,
First, sorry to take so long to reply. I didn't know your question was there.
I bought it from a guy in Altona VIC via eBay ( Member id unique-welders ( 228) ) . His profile is still on eBay, but he's no longer registered.
This has 1000 character limit and I can't shorten the rest of my reply to fit. I will post separately if possible.

Thanks thats the guy from unique welders, that sold me my welders he doesnt care about any of his customers some he kept there money and didnt even send them at all, have a look at his negative feed back on ebay, I bought myself a unitig acdc inverter welder that has 3 1/2 years of warranty as i need my welder this welds way better than the maxweld did and has real warranty,
The maxweld still welds as stick but no tig, checked a few things the welding web said to do but no go still, eventually it will get it fixed I hope

I can scan mine and email to you 8)
Hi garyshouse,
I would greatly appreciate a copy of manual For the Maxweld also. I didnt get one with mine either, but am otherwise happy with the TIG, I only weld aluminium with it and it works well.
