Really good service
I purchased my overlocker from the Glen Waverley store after doing some research online. They had a deal where you got quite a few things free. I called in advance to make sure they had one and advised them when I would be in to collect it. I went in the next morning and the machine was there but they were missing most of the additional add on's that were mean to come with it (such as dress making scissors). A great outcome
I had a problem with my Brother N50, and, after initial problems with the sales staff at Metro Preston, was contacted by the owner of Metro Sewing himself. He was very kind and re-assuring and fixed everything up to my complete satisfaction. So the service is there and if you don't feel you are getting it, go to the top, because this man really cares about his business. I will go back for an overlocker. Thanks [name removed], for putting my mind at ease and ensuring that I can relax and enjoy my weekend. :-)

Great service! love my new Janome ovelocker!
I recently purchased a new Janome 8002D from Metro Sewing centre.
Right from the start, they were super helpful and recomended a machine that would fit into my budget I also received a free sewing kit which (although isn't the best quality) is great until I can buy the other things I need.
I called Metro sewing centre a few times before I purchased and again after it arrived to get some help trouble shooting the tension and everytime I spoke to them they were pleasant and helpful.

Bought an ironing press machine online and after a week waiting i contacted the store, they informed me that I would receive it in two days. Aniother week and nothing! Calked back again they said that it was delayed... That i would get it in a couple of days. Called them again and the lady on the phone said she didnt know where the purchase were... And that she couldnt refund me as she had to find the ironing press first!! Called next day again and the old lady on the phone said it was lost... But I would get my purchase next week. Prompt friendly service
Ordered online and my sewing machine arrived on my doorstep less than 48hrs later. Got a nice thank you email from them too. Their website is easy to use and the process was very straightforward. I was very pleased with the efficiency of the process having been mucked around by other sewing stores with stock issues etc.

Poor service
Went to Preston Metro to get my sewing machine repair. The customer service really poor and the ladies there are stuck up. Every single sentence from their mouth costs money. They want me to pay if they were to teach me how to use the needle threader even if I bought the machine from other metro stores. Fortunately, I bought the machine from them. Though one if the lady showed me how to do it after I showed her my receipt I told myself I will never invest a cent to the store anymore. Very dissapointed. lady told me if i need help with the machine I can walk in to any metro shop for help. It is not true. A person in preston store told me no such thing.
