Never been one to spend a lot of money on appliances, but I needed a new Vac, so I did the research and stumbled upon this beaut. I have 2 dogs, both huskies and carpet. Disaster. Until now.
I swear to god I don’t work for Miele or have anything to do with them, but I’ve never been so excited to vacuum. This thing is amazing, my floors have never been so clean.
Dog hair? Easy. Regular dirt, crumbs, mess? Gone. Every time you vacuum it’s literally a satisfying before and after picture.
Only thing bad I’ll say about this is that one of the attachments broke just by dropping 30cm off the ground which was so disapointing until we realised our warranty included replacing it and we got another for free so it’s all good

I love this vacuum cleaner. It glides around and is super easy to use. The bags can fill up easy if you only vacuum, so I sweep also and the bags last longer lol. Ive heard you can get cheaper bags online but ive not tried them. The vacuum has great suction and maneuverability. I love it! No doubt it will last for years.

I bought this vacuum because it was highly rated, and it was made in Germany. Bing Lee had a sale so I purchased it at a good price (half a grand is still a lot of money, but it was less than other places were charging).
I got the vacuum home and as I started vacuuming, I noticed the bag change indicator kept moving to orange. I read the guidebook and noted that it said the indicator will only go orange if the bag is full (obviously). The bag was not full, as I had just started using the vacuum. I took off the hose, and the bag indicator stayed...
Read more black. So obviously this had to do with the pressure of the force of air. This really did not sit well with me, so I took it back to Bing Lee. The sales staff tested out their demo, my machine, and another Miele model, and all three machines kept showing the bag full indicator even though the bags were empty. Bing Lee were able to refund me, and I returned the machine that day. I reached out to Miele to explain what had happened, and their contact staff got in touch with me super fast (it was a Saturday too). The person on the other end informed me that this is a normal occurrence with their vacuums and it is because there is a strong flow of air current that moves the bag. I queried how I was meant to tell if the bag was actually full then, if that was the case. The response was I would have to lift the vacuum head off the floor and put the pressure lower, then tilt it so it has clear air flow. I do appreciate the feedback that I was given, and that they did take the time out to contact me about my concerns, however this unfortunately does not solve any concerns I have about the longevity of the vacuum itself. It was disappointing, as I was much looking forward to owning a Miele.

Was good to begin with then suddenly would not turn on again...
After 2 years, the vacuum has died, im not sure whether its a cord issue or a motor issue but i am extremely disappointed. For a purchase at this cost, Miele should do everything they can to make all the repairs covered. However instead, the service rep advised i need to take it in to repairer and would have to fork out the cost as it has been 2 years... its just not good enough, ill never purchase anything Miele ever again.
Hi Adam, we apologise that you are disappointed with our product. What the service rep has advised is correct. When you book a service call your service technician can speak with you about the costs. Kind regards, Miele.

So I recently purchased this vacuum to replace an absolutely useless Electrolux. After 'test driving' my mum's version of it I knew it was exactly what I was after. Strong suction, a powerhead to pick up the cat hair off the floor from two long haired, constantly shedding cats and the ability to quickly swap the heads over to get a good clean on floorboards and tiles. The powerhead has a removable panel too so it's super easy to clean the rollers when needed. There's a mini powerhead which is perfect for fiddly jobs like cleaning hair off the c...
Read moreat climbing towers and curtains. If I had to pick a negative I'd say the cord could be a little longer as I can *almost* but not quite do 2/3 of the house before needing to swap power points. Yes the bags are expensive BUT I think the fact that it sucks so much better (in my opinion) than a bagless vacuum makes up for that. In addition to that the customer service from Miele is excellent. My vacuum arrived and it didn't have a piece I thought it should have so I emailed Miele (at 7pm at night mind you). They had responded by the next morning replying they would send the piece out to me and less than 24 hours later it was at my doorstep. It was so nice to have such great customer service when nowadays a whole lot of big name companies are failing in that area. Would definitely recommend this vacuum and this brand to anyone looking for a vacuum with good suction and additional tools/features.Thank you Deb for your feedback!

Love this vacuum, the turbo head does a wonderful job at picking up all the cat hair on my white carpet! The cable is nice and long too. The vacuum bags seem to hold a lot and I haven't had to change them anywhere near as often as I thought I would.
Thank you for your feedback Nia!

I purchased the new model Cat & Dog vacuum after disappointing results with other brands with my 2 cats and 2 dogs. I couldn’t be happier. The suction is so strong, it gets all the pet hair with no problems. The carpets have never looked so good! The handle is very ergonomic and it is easy to move around. This is the bagged model, so much cleaner than bagless. I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner.

I just love this vacuum cleaner, the best I have ever used to clean my carpet from pet hair. So easy to use and emptying is a breeze. I don't need to vacuum as often it is so efficient. I chose to purchase the pet hair cleaner as I have long haired chihuahuas.

I’ve had other big brand vacuum cleaners including a Miele more than 15 years ago & after not being completely happy with other brands, I chose to buy another Miele because it’s such a reliable brand and really packs a punch with the suction!
I would probably still be using my old Miele had my last one not been stolen.
Before the purchase of this recent model I had purchased 3 other brands & simply wasn’t happy with the performance of any of them. None performed as advertised as far as great powerful suctions were concerned.

Read morercoal twist pile carpeting in my home, plus two fluffy white dogs and two fluffy ragdoll cats and as you can imagine “White Hair & Charcoal Carpet “ aren’t the ideal combination! My Miele C3 certainly sucks up every speck of pet fluff, and hair, and lifting the pile beautifully. Plus pulling up the sandy dirt that still manages to find its way inside the house even though shoes are left outside.Thank you Jo for your feedback!
Hi Miele Offical.

This vacuum is amazing, it has several power settings and a few different heads and they all work very well., its just the cost of the bags, I do have a long haired dog and need to vacuum a lot, so the cost of bags does add up.
It has good suction for hard floors, the hair remover power head works well on carpet and been able to slow it down to use the brush adapter in the car is great.

It is a Good vaccume. Excellent suction.
Vaccume bags prices are a bit expensive. But worth if you can afford it.
Manouvering may be difficult if you are small made like my wife. However the performance compensates any such concerns.
Require a reasonably large space to store the vaccume cleaner

It was the first time I purchased an expensive vacuum cleaner and it is worth every single dollar I paid for! It's very quiet, extremely powerful and it has advanced filtering system that cleans even very small dust particles that other vacuum cleaners miss to clean. The only negative side of it is expensive bags.

I was so shocked the first time I used this vacuum the amount of suction it has is amazing. The turbo head is so good it gets every tiny little bit in the carpet and you don’t have to keep adjusting things from one surface to another just glides over wood, tile, carpet, Lino. I was so impressed that I told my mum about it and she purchased one the next day. thank you Miele for making a task that isn’t my favourite so much easier
Thanks for your great feedback, it's lovely to hear you are enjoying your Miele vacuum.

Normally when I wanted a thorough vacuum I would have to get my husband to use his very heavy Nilfisk industrial vacuum, so I decided time had come to get my own vacuum cleaner. After researching a bit, I settled on the Miele C3 Powerline Cat and Dog as we had three animals living inside with us, all happily shedding hair quite constantly. I try not to have high expectations of appliances and wasn't expecting this to do as good a job as my husband's vacuum, and it doesn't of course, but it comes really close. It is pleasant and easy to...
Read more use and I love the adjustable noise control. Works well even on a lower setting. It does use bags, but after having used a bagless vacuum in the past, I think the extra expense of bags is worth it as the dust remains contained and you can just throw the whole thing out without getting dust everywhere.Thank you Billy for your feedback!

I have owned Miele in the past, about 8 years ago when I changed to one more suitable for commercial use because I was cleaning other peoples houses as well. Don't get me wrong the Miele was more than adequate, but the bag cost and capacity just didn't make it an economical choice when using it in a more "commercial" manner.
Now that I haven't been doing that sort of work for quite a while I thought it was about time to upgrade my almost 8yr old vacuum. So I brought a Miele C3 Cat and Dog (we have 2 cats).
I must admit when I tried to vacu...

Read moreand adjust down for floor mats / rugs. Having the tools on board is great, especially for giving the lounge a quick vac. So yes I can understand why some of the Miele range has lower wattage motors, sometimes more power isn't always necessary and perhaps might even make the job harder. Although if you have pets this one is definitely warranted. The bags even though they're smaller capacity than my last vacuum they seem to last just as long if not longer. So yes they may be expensive but I don't think I'm having to buy them more often than I would consider reasonable (on my 2nd bag at the moment). I guess because they do indeed have a better design to allow airflow etc.- 5 reviews

I had been using a Dyson DC23 for the last 10 years. After parts continuously needed replacing (mostly the turbine head) I decided to make a change instead.
The Complete C3 cat and dog Miele vacuum was raved about in reviews everywhere, and at $330 delivered online I couldn't go past it.
We now use this beauty for hardwood floors, tiles, short pile and medium pile carpets and rugs, and it exceeds the ability that I found in the Dyson at less that half the price.
Some great things about this vacuum are:
- one press LONG retractable cord
- three wheel maneuverability
- power modes
- GREAT suction and awesome turbobrush
- dustbag filterability as we have 4 cats and 2 dogs
- durability and quality of all parts included in the package

This is our second Miele Cat and Dog. The first one lasted 8 years till the motor died, this next one is around 2 years old. Great suction power, and works quite well on carpet, tiles and timber floors. Like any wheel mounted vacuum cleaner, it doesn’t travel along as well as it could, so a little difficult to maneuver. Genuine bags are expensive so look for non genuine ones. It will never be a magic device that removes allergens from the house, so the HEPA filter is just a token gimmick really. Overall, pretty happy with it, it does what it supposed to do fairly well and would buy one again.

Having acquired a golden retriever, my house was covered in long blonde dog hair, and blonde 'dust bunnies' in all the corners. The in-laws were coming, so something had to be done ASAP. Today I added to my fabulous collection of Miele products by buying this vacuum cleaner from Bing Lee. I'm a huge fan of Miele products because they last forever and none of my Miele products have ever needed repairs. The dog hair came up in one smooth maneuver and I can't quite believe how easy it was on my back. My other Vac killed me and took me from zero to crap in 0.1 seconds. Very happy lady here. 5 stars to Miele. Another fine product.

Light and easy to get around, easy change bag system, doesn't blow out dust and cause allergies.
Get any pet hairs up of any surface and I love long handle to reach above cornesses and tops of windows etc.
Easy switch over head settings from tiles to carpet and cant believe how wonderful carpets come up

I brought this vacuum cleaner because I have got 2 dogs that shed hair everywhere. It came with an extra turbo head + a mini head - the turbo is so excellent at picking up all of the dog hairs!! My house is finally dust + dirt + dog hair free!! The on board mini attachments are super handy and so easily stored. Really good vacuum- we will see if it stands the test of time. I brought this model because it’s still German made unlike the C1 + C2 models which are now made in China.
