Hello I have just purchased the Miele TCE630WP Dryer and am looking to hinge the door on the other side as I am close up against a wall. I see there is provision with the screw holes already built into the machine but I haven't been able to find how to do it. I am sitting here with the door in pieces and scratching my head.

Hi Gary, thank you for your question. It is not possible to exchange the hinge side on this model due to the internal configuration, the front panels are used in many different models worldwide some of which may come with the hinge set to the right from the factory. Kind regards, Anna.

How do I deactivate the buzzer I hear once the dryer has finished its drying cycle for a TCE630WP dryer? It is extremely annoying.

Hi Rina, please use this link to view the operating manual https://www.miele.com.au/professional/inactivem-user-manuals-177.htm. Type your product as 'TCE 630 WP', download the operating manual and on page 66 are the instructions for 'Buzzer Volume'. Kind regards, Anna.

Poor unintuitive instructions are probably the worst features of the TCE630WP. To solve your problem you need to go into programming mode. To do that you need to (1) select a program, (2) open the dryer door so the green start/stop indicator disappears, (3) now here is the totally unintuitive part. Press the area where the stop/start indicator is supposed to be and hold it!!!! (4) Keep holding and close the dryer door. Keep holding. The start/stop sensor will start flashing, but keep holding until the flashing turns to a steady green. Now let go. A few seconds later the panel will go into program mode where you can change the settings. Now follow the manual's programming instructions to alter the buzzer behaviour.

I have just purchased the TCE630WP and the matching front loader. We live in an apartment and we needed to reduce the condensation in our laundry as there is no window. The condensation issue has certainly been addressed but I am struggling to get the Cotton setting to dry my towels in particular. I put the load on 'extra dry' but they still aren't dry enough to fold and put away. Is this a problem other people are experiencing?

Hi Deb, there are settings that can be adjusted to get the laundry drier. I would suggest since you are within your two years warranty to book a warranty call to get the technician to adjust settings. The machine can be adjusted to dryer settings in cottons and minimum iron, and the cooldown should be adjusted also. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us on 1300 464 353. Kind regards, Anna.

Hi Anna, I have called the 1300 number and spoken to customer service representatives, they were very accommodating but I am concerned about getting a technician to come out as if it's not a warranty fault it will cost me $179. I have just dried a pair of double bed sheets, they were in a ball when the cycle was finished (which means they aren't rotating) and they were still quite damp in the middle of the balled sheets. I put them onto the Cotton setting on 'extra dry'. The dryer is jumping slightly during the cycle which concerns me.

I initially had the same issue. Now you can follow the manual's programming instructions to increase the cotton drying levels.

Usually cotton extra dry then a quick dry on extra dry. It’s annoying how long it takes though.

Same question as Emma E above. We get an F66 Error message and the machine stops full of wet clothes. Power off and the next day it works OK. Happens about once per month. We were given the wrong instruction manual so that is no help.

There is another “mystery filter” behind a little door on the bottom left. I now vacuum the fluff off of it every couple of weeks and it’s working again. The service guy didn’t point it out... I had to figure it out myself.

How long is the extra dry program since a reviewer mentioned it was the program that dried the clothes well. I am interested in comparing to the drying time of a normal vented dryer. Thanks

Generally 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. I usually then have to put it on another “quick” cycle for 45 minutes to get it to a level of dry-ness I can deal with. It’s actually working quite well now though.

Hi my Miele TCE 630 dryer is great except for the constant beeping. About 30 min into any drying cycle it stops, beeps loudly 12 times and doesn't restart, even though the clothes are still damp. Any suggestions how to 1. turn off the beep altogether and 2. convince it to keep going till the clothes are dry.
I followed the instructions ins the manual for turning off the beep but it still does it.
I like to run the dryer late at night when electricity is off peak but totally unable to do this with a beep that wakes the house
thanks in advance

Sounds like your machine needs a service. I tend to use the one setting which is COTTONS -> EXTRA DRY because that works. As for programming I can't even get to the first step because no combination of the initialisation instruction steps work.
