I’m gutted. I love this washer but it has just started blacking out..Dead as a dodo. Lots of clicking when I turned it on then blackout. No light no anything. It eventually came back on an hour later. I did 6 loads fine. Next week again just entering 18 min rinse cycle portion after 30 mins wash and blackout. So wash didn’t get on the line before I went to shops. 2 hrs later machine came back on, performed 1 rinse and blacked out again. An hour later it came back on and I was able to finish the wash. I have a feeling it is the Mother Board. Which will be horrendous cost to repair. Anyone else have this happen? I think its about 8 years old.

Take the bearing out then go to bearing only. Store they will match it
Then come to Brisbane and fix mine

Lol, I thought it's special bearing . I just went to a chain and bearing store for a cement mixer, definitely will ask them.
Cheers for reminding me.

Have just purchased the 8kg washer, and asked the salesperson as to what detergent is the best to use omo powder or omo liquid? He said powder as the liquid would drain through, so I went and brought powder as I always had used liquid ( gave my liquid away) Have been reading reviews and information only to read you can use liquid! I'm confused, could you please tell me which one to use or can I use both and what brand is the better to use. Regards Kim

How many years could I expect to get out of a Mielle front load washing machine? There is normally only two of us living here.

Ask Miele but considering they give 10 years warranty in UK.. I expect at least 10 but hopefully 15. My last machine was ASKO and lasted 12 years.

I've had mine 4 years and I've never had a problem, I use it every day and my kids who have left home, still come home to use my washing machine. I have friends who have had their miele for 10 years+ and have not had any problems.

My Miele WP5943 washing machine is saying 'Remove Transport Bar' ?
What does it mean? As anticipated, delivery man has no knowledge of the machine. Miele refuse to send installer, and refund my $25?Now what to do? I bought a floor stock over $2000, not for free, would appreciate some assistance. Thanks

I bought W5943WPS,expecting delivery within next two days.
To my surprised, Miele will not offer delivery, installation or operating rundown of the machine? How will I understand and appreciate the wow factors of it? I paid for the brand but surprisingly no service and assistance.
