Could not be happier! 5 Stars all the way, amazing after sales service
I ordered a 76 Page photobook from MILK with our wedding photos - The software wasn't 100% intuitive to begin with but after watching a few video tutorials became very easy to navigate and work through. The template choices were fantastic and absolutely gave a high end quality look and feel to the book.

lt). Production was super quick and shipping was extremely quick, only 3 days to arrive to my work address in Perth. Unfortunately the book was slightly damaged when it arrived (Had a dirty finger mark on the front linen cover which couldn't be removed) - I sent a photo to MILK who immediately ordered me a new book at no extra cost, no hesitations from them. The new book has just arrived and is absolutely flawless. The quality of the book itself is stunning, photo pages are beautiful, as is the cover and stitching on the spine. It looks better than other friends who spent $1500+ for a professionally produced book by their wedding photographers, ours was done at a fraction of the price.Similar opinion? Poor print quality
Extremely poor print quality. Uploaded hi-res imagery taken by a professional photographer, only for the photo books to be printed blurry, flat and in some places, with uneven photo edges. I had two test books printed with the intention to have another three printed, but will be looking elsewhere. Highly disappointing given the high cost. Turns out expense doesn't always equate to quality.

Apalling
Tried purchasing a gift certificate - I’ve been charged $200 but their site said my payment was rejected. No way of getting through to speak with anyone. Customer service phone number rings out to an answering service. Straight-up pathetic. So now I’m off to dispute the transaction... f’ing hopeless excuse for a business.

Customer Service let’s it down
I’ve had a number of photo books from Milk. This recent one may be the last.
After spending hundreds of dollars with the company we weren’t happy with our latest book. Having contacted them about what seemed to be massively limiting the pages. I was told the maximum pages were now 80 (our last book was 200)
On receiving our new book it was much smaller & no outer cover either.
Whilst it was hard to compare the cost to the previous book due to the huge difference in page numbers, it’s just not in the same league.

Disappointed with Final Product
I bought 4 books of my wedding photos to give to family members for Christmas. The books themselves were fine but the cover photos came out dark, desaturated, and blurry. MILK customer support took 3 days to respond, then told me that they use a matte stock on the cover, which makes dark photos slightly darker. This was not mentioned on their website. They also tried to blame the photo for the poor way that it came out, but there are plenty of darker photos inside the book that came out just fine! Lovely album and great customer service
I purchased a large leather layflat album from MILK books and I absolutely adore it. Initially I wasn't happy with the cover photo being stuck on the outside (literally a photo glued onto the leather) but when I emailed the company with my concerns they were so lovely about it - and organised a reprint without the cover photo (and allowed me to edit my book again to add the cover photo to a page within). So I can't fault the end product or the service!

clunky software, spotty customer service
I have been admiring Milk Books for the longest time as they appear very high-end and simple to use. When I found I sale I was able to purchase an album and had 1 year to create it. Now that I am able to edit and upload photos I am finding the web software slow and clunky.
CONS
- There have been many times where my pictures just stall and don't upload so I've had to clear cache and restart my browser.
- The thumbnails of the picture doesn't alway display - so I have to add the picture into the album to see what it is and then remove it....Read more
