It looks sooo good in my new home - very stylish.
Food stays super cold.
Love the separate fruit/veg drawer.
It's whisper quiet when running.
The automatic ice cube maker is incredible.
Heaps of room in the freezer.

I wish I could give this fridge a higher rating, but the lighting is horrible. There's a vertical strip of LEDs placed on the rear wall of the main compartment. The LEDs glare in your face when you open the fridge, and at the same time don't provide sufficient light for your items. Everything is in shadow. If the LEDs were 'warm white' colour (more towards the colour of traditional fridge lights), perhaps it might not look so stark and gloomy.
The silly LED placement means if you place any items in the middle of the shelves, you will greatly r...
Read moreeduce the already poor light. Lighting is one thing you can't see when buying a fridge, because most fridges are not plugged in at the store unless they're top-of-the-range units. I didn't expect it to be so poor, especially after seeing other similar-sized fridge brands that have better LED lighting. And of course, Mitsubishi's advertisement images for this fridge are basking in beautiful light, with every item on the shelf perfectly lit. Apart from the lighting, I really like this fridge. I love that the bottom two sections are drawers, which makes it particularly easy to rummage around in the freezer. I wasn't sure if the ice maker would get any use, but it has actually proven itself to be very convenient and we use it all the time. Because we don't have to mess with ice trays, it's much quicker and easier to add ice to drinks and even tap water. The vertical side handle/indent on the main door is also very convenient rather than just a bottom handle. We purposely chose this version (CX) instead of the glass door version (CGX), since the glass door model did not have this side handle. The CX series has been replaced in 2022 (such as the MR-CX450ER instead of MR-CX450EJ). Mitsubishi Electric advised me that they are essentially the same overall model aside from some very slight differences. If it weren't for the lighting, I'd give this 5 stars. I really like the 3 tier, bottom mount design with drawers, and it was very difficult finding another fridge like this that wasn't ridiculously large. So far we haven't had any problems with shelving or issues with cooling. But every time I open the fridge, I'm greeted by that horrible lighting.Purchased in at Harvey Norman.

Bought this fridge on the basis of reviews for it being VERY quiet-well I just wasted $1899, it's not quiet, it’s VERY NOISY - has an annoying intermittent high pitched industrial electric motor sound of varied volumes and a continuous low frequency sound you hear when seated too near the motors on a jet - it permeates through my kitchen and living area to the end of the room for the entire 45 minutes its running, shutting down and shutting up for 15minutes if you don’t open the door. It just makes me wonder how many favorable product reviews a...
Read morere fake. I would not recommend buying this fridge if you hate noise, for those that don't mind noise you can buy other brands for half the price. DB ratings is a bad indicator of how noisy a fridge is because various annoying frequencies heard can be more audible than others but are of lower volume in terms of DB. Also, the delivery guys took it out of the box for me but i never noticed two slight indentations in the silver metal doors visible under certain light until they were gone. I want a refund.Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $1,899.

Can't fault this fridge after 4 months. It's compact and ergonomic. We the drawers for the fruits & veg and freezer. I can't imagine going back to using a regular fridge. It's enough for a family of two and a half and keeps all of our food cold. The ice maker is very convenient and gets a lot of use.
From looking at other reviews I can see that the door shelves might crack if you try to force large bottles in there or too many objects as it appears to be made from a brittle plastic.
We have not had any issues though.
If the above sounds OK to you I would highly recommend this fridge.

Perfect size for small fridge cavity space!
Needed to purchase a small fridge for my new apartment which has a very small fridge cavity space. This one fits perfectly and looks great. I love, love, love the separate vegetable drawer - so convenient.

This is a great fridge. Whisper quiet and compact. It’s my first bottom mount freezer and while it has a smaller fridge space, I have to keep reminding myself it has a separate fruit and vege crisper which is actually quite large. It takes a bit of getting used to but so far it’s all good.

Best fridge I've ever bought! How the times have changed!
I love the design of this fridge and how much attention to detail has gone into the practical compartments and features.
There is a large section for general fridge items, a second draw for fruits and vegetables, an ice section where you can store thing like ice bricks, a large freezer draw and an ice maker!

amazing fridge, lots of space, the veggie drawer is so good, the ice maker is a big plus, inside is very well distributed the spaces, totally recommend! it's even better for us as our kitchen is small and we were struggling to find a model that has enough litres for 600mm wide.

Good fridge but vegetable drawer not so great
I want to love this fridge, the fridge section is great and a good size (although two plastic shelves broke yesterday, hoping for a painless replacement). The freezer feels a bit small but is manageable and the ice maker is awesome. But the vegie crisper is the biggest let down. Having a separate draw for the crisper is ingenious and I love the layout but and here is the but, it doesn't keep my vegies crisp. All my vegetables end up limp and terrible. My brocolli stays crisp for about 2 days at best and my poor carrots and cucumbers are almost ...

Not overly cold and the shelves keep breaking. We are on our second round of shelving. Shelves are cheap and not good quality plastic. The front of the fridge look cheap and scratches, dents easy. Not happy with the purchase, however one positive is the ice maker! That has been designed welln and is a geat fuction.

Needed to upgrade my older fridge. Only need a smaller unit to fit my kitchen.Decided on the Mitsubishi as it seemed to have the best warranty and reviews.
After only a few days use, can only say I am totally sold on this fridge, especially the ingenious ice maker and the crisper drawer with a special light.
The flexibility of the shelving is convenient and more than adequate for storage.
Great Fridge.

We've had the fridge since April 2018 and it's been great. Love the vege drawer. This is the best fridge I've ever owned. It is compact but if you don't need a huge fridge I would highly recommend this model. For the prize and the features - it's great value.

I love this fridge so much... I bought two :-)
I absolutely love this fridge. So much space considering the liters capacity and the vegetable drawer is the best invention ever. I loved it so much i bought a second one (as we had extended family with us and needed more room). I see they have a 492L model now which looks great. I highly recommend this fridge!!!
