Excellent vehicle
Everyday car with long trips out in the country twice a month, 800-1000 km run.
Great responsive wagon with a bit of power to spare.
Tows very well for its size.
Excellent fuel (deisel) economy & even better on the long runs.
Many, many after market parts & accessories available to make my ride even sweeter.
Prior car was 2.8DTi Mitsubishi Delica, also a great vehicle.

Love the extra space
Love this car!!! It’s such a lovely smooth ride, fits four kids and 2 adults comfortably plus all the extras that come with them. Parking is a breeze with the reversing camera. Petrol usage is fabulous, full tank usually last for two weeks going for 40min trips each day. Can’t say a bad word about it

Mine is a lemon!
2014 ZJ Aspire
Road noise is appalling!
First year, the plastic covers of the seat (the one that protects your foot from the metal railing of the seat) were all broken. I was told because my foot or the foot of my passengers were hitting them! Hello they were there to be protective things right?
2nd year, the stereo headunit malfunctioned, I shifted to reverse and the reverse camera went on. Then I shifted to drive, guess what? The reverse camera was still on!!! I had to stop on the side, turn off the engine for 30 secs before I restart...Read more

Diesel is cheap to run and tows great
Fantastic vehicle. Bought new.Plenty of grunt and cheap to run. 6.1 lt to 100ks Korumburra to Sydney. We average around 7lt to 100ks
It has all the safety features and they are worth it. Our son is 6ft 8 and has plenty of leg room in the back. Tows the van with ease.
This is our second Outlander.
I replaced the standard tyres as soon as we got it with Toyo Open Country HT and they have done 70,000 ks with no sign of wear.
Update. Now done 100,000ks
Stillon the toyo tyres i fitted 235/60/18 it makes the Speedo accurate
They are well made. The front end is so good that it hasn't even needed an alignment.
Highly underrated and reliable.

Good Value for Money
The Aspire model is packed with a lot of features - my favorite is the automatic cruise control which can decelerate or accelerate depending on the traffic in front of you. The Front Collision mitigation is definitely good to have, but I noticed it turns itself off when there is a lot of rain which is kind of unexpected (but maybe it is).
The alloy rims looks great on this model.
3rd row is good for kids, but adults will not feel very comfortable there. It's a compact SUV anyway, so you would not expect that.
Fuel consumption is alrigh...Read more
t, on the highway with 90km/h you can see the consumption drops to 6.9l which is great. City driving will most probably be at 12l though. I never drive in ECO mode - I don't see much difference with the fuel consumption with it on or off. The thing that I sometimes do not like is that in order to make it more economical the auto transmission goes to higher gear too early, e.g. with 40km/h it is already on 5th gear and with 50km/h on 6th gear which makes the car look unresponsive - you have to kick the pedal hard for it to lower the gear enough to get the needed power. So what I sometimes do is to switch to manual gear (that's a nice addition too) and manually change the gears.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I got 2015 Outlander Aspire top of the range SUV. great car. great Fuel economy. 3rd row spacious than most of similar size SUVs. Great options. Value for money...FCM (forward collision mitigation), cruise control, GPS, Reverse sensors, Active cruise control works great... BAD...Interior not looking that great. Mitsubishi have to improve the look
