Modern have looked after us for over fourteen years. We have installed shutters at home and just recently at our holiday house. Great job, couldn't believe how fast and efficient everything ran. From Andrew at the call center, to Neil who quoted the job and Eugen the installer. Very professional. I highly recommend this Australian company. Great job guys!!

Called into the office as the check measure hasn’t occurred and haven’t heard anything. Was advised that the job had to be changed to another installer due to him being sick and that I was be called today (Monday) called again and was sworn at and told to [censored word removed] because I wanted to cancel. They offered me $130 discount and claimed I was being rude. I never raised my voice, I never swore. The guy on the phone then told me he is going to dump the shutters on my front lawn then send me a VCAT letter and get his money. Then told me that he is recording the call and make sure that the massive legal team he has get everything from me.

Now I have paid a company $500 which refuse to do anything but swear at me!!

I had my motorized shutters fitted 18 years ago by Modern. I have never had any problems & I often get call backs from Modern to see if I’m still happy with their product.
I have recommend their shutters to family & friends & I will continue to do so.

I phoned for a quotation and was given several reasons why I can’t get one. The customer service officer named May, just seemed too busy to want our business. She was full of petty excuses.

Had a new shutter installed. Something went wrong and we rang the company. Technician named little Eugene came over to see the problem. No fuss. Shutter fixed in just few minutes. No dull moments. Professionalism at its best! Thanks Little Eugene. Thanks Modern.

had the hole house done 18 months ago, got the battery controllers, the small kitchen motor has stopped working and need to replace it, not happy jan as there only covered by a 12 month warranty, should of got the electric motors, so now i hope i dont have to replace the rest of the house motors,

Everything was installed quickly and efficiently and I had no issues until the motor broke on one of the shutters only 4 years later. Wasn’t happy about the fact that I had to pay quite a large amount to have it replaced.

The outdoor blinds make a big difference to our back deck area, when they are up you hardly notice they are there, & when they are down they stop so much wind & rain, & look great.

Love the shutters themselves. They perform as advertised. However the battery unit that powers the closing and shutting won't last long. I have had to replace the battery several times.

I have been satisfied with the whole service provided. From beginning with quotations to final outcome of roller shutters being installed. I have.no issues with the service, especially the phone ladies who called to ask how and if all was on track. Very polite and friendly.

We required blinds for our deck and chose Modern Group for a quote. The salesperson was polite, they took their time, as we were fussing about all aspects of items available. We were offered a extremely easy payment plan as the quote was more than we expected. Processing took minutes, we were happy with our purchase. Double checking of measurements and fitting were professionally done. The quality of the product underlined the expense and it is worth it. They look great, are easy to adjust and do the job they are required to do. Even the wife couldnt find anything to complain about.

Been 8 months now its great we have 14 windows done with remote batteries very easy to use and handy battery last for long time felles more secure and reduced noise and keep the house with great temperatures in cold and heats

The product is very helpful and we save the energy. The agent were very friendly and accommodating to our enquires. I dont think so if we can manage to install properly the way they do it. Were one of the satisfied customer.
