Do not respond to phone calls - have to leave messages.
Do not get back and do not give a time frame for the service when they will fix the broken shutter. Very rude receptionist.
It's 6 months since asked to do repairs -still waiting.
Had to get local person to get it uninstalled as have no faith in the modern group to provide service. I will never recommend them to any person.

3 external roller shutters have now been installed since 2017 without fault. Great product and still going strong. The installer, very friendly, professional and clean should be commended for his work. Thanks Modern Group.

Shutters were purchased and installed in 2016 and then some more were purchased and installed in 2017. We are happy with the product and they have worked faultlessly since then. I understand calling the customers after the product is installed is important as it shows good customer support and care. However to keep calling every year for four years has become annoying. We have asked to no longer be called but today we again received another call. What part of "please don't call us anymore, we will call you if the need arises" do you not understand?

Modern have looked after us for over fourteen years. We have installed shutters at home and just recently at our holiday house. Great job, couldn't believe how fast and efficient everything ran. From Andrew at the call center, to Neil who quoted the job and Eugen the installer. Very professional. I highly recommend this Australian company. Great job guys!!

Our first contact with Modern was a couple of years ago when we were looking at installing plantation shutters in a couple of our main rooms. I believe we got a great deal after some negotiation and the installation was very professional, the guy was here all day and did a fantastic job. Our second time a couple of months ago was also very similar with a great deal and extremely fast delivery and installation as we had family coming over from the UK and they did everything possible to install them in time.

From the first phone call to installation it couldn’t get much better. Very professional. Time frames were spot on. I am so pleased with the end result. Love the fact that they are Australian made. I had roller shutters fitted on the west side of the house to keep the bedrooms on that side cooler and darker for quests. We now have a completely cleaned and treated clay tile roof which looks excellent. The work was undertaken after almost 40 years since installation.

Exceptional service, easy process and quality product (both shutters and external roller blinds) describes our experiences with the Murarrie office. My husband and I were so impressed the first time around with the plantation shutters that we couldn't wait to get the next installation of shutters for our bedrooms. So, we didn't! Within 2 months we had all our bedrooms completed. The external blinds have been a blessing by stopping the western sun blazing into our lounge and the outdoor area can now be used all day to relax in. We love the quality of the product and the Modern "family" who are genuine and authentic in the way they care.

Had plantation shutters fitted to the whole house, from the first contact and quote to the installation was a easy process and couldn't do any more to help with the process. Highly recommended.

The service I received from Modern was fantastic. I love that they are made in Australia. When the shutters were installed I realised that this was truly one of the best decisions I have ever made.

A little while ago we had our roof restored with modern after stupidly going with a cheaper company first and it not lasting 12 months before the paint started coming off..We have now got a beautiful looking roof that we know is gonna last us for our lifetime atleast. and we got what we paid for this time.If only we got it done with modern first we could have saved alot of money

When we decided to install a servery in our kitchen thinking about security of course there was only one choice for us and that was to call Modern group and have a roller shutter installed.After we removed the window and framed it out Modern came in and did the rest. We couldn't be happier with the results..

Called into the office as the check measure hasn’t occurred and haven’t heard anything. Was advised that the job had to be changed to another installer due to him being sick and that I was be called today (Monday) called again and was sworn at and told to [censored word removed] because I wanted to cancel. They offered me $130 discount and claimed I was being rude. I never raised my voice, I never swore. The guy on the phone then told me he is going to dump the shutters on my front lawn then send me a VCAT letter and get his money. Then told me that he is recording the call and make sure that the massive legal team he has get everything from me.

Now I have paid a company $500 which refuse to do anything but swear at me!!
