After a negative review and a follow up call from customer care, my complaint was referred to general manager. He was able to sort out all of the original installation issues and as a result I ordered another 4 roller shutters. We are very pleased with the work carried out

We had a complete house done including a huge stacker sliding doors supplied and fitted by Modern group and found the quality of the product first class and the installation was carried out in a very professional way and the finished job was first class WE were advised every step of the way from the time we placed our order to when our shutters would be ready for installation

Our first contact with Modern was a couple of years ago when we were looking at installing plantation shutters in a couple of our main rooms. I believe we got a great deal after some negotiation and the installation was very professional, the guy was here all day and did a fantastic job. Our second time a couple of months ago was also very similar with a great deal and extremely fast delivery and installation as we had family coming over from the UK and they did everything possible to install them in time.

From the first phone call to installation it couldn’t get much better. Very professional. Time frames were spot on. I am so pleased with the end result. Love the fact that they are Australian made. I had roller shutters fitted on the west side of the house to keep the bedrooms on that side cooler and darker for quests. Exceptional service, easy process and quality product (both shutters and external roller blinds) describes our experiences with the Murarrie office. My husband and I were so impressed the first time around with the plantation shutters that we couldn't wait to get the next installation of shutters for our bedrooms. So, we didn't! Within 2 months we had all our bedrooms completed. The external blinds have been a blessing by stopping the western sun blazing into our lounge and the outdoor area can now be used all day to relax in. We love the quality of the product and the Modern "family" who are genuine and authentic in the way they care.

Had plantation shutters fitted to the whole house, from the first contact and quote to the installation was a easy process and couldn't do any more to help with the process. Highly recommended.

Hello, we have been buying Modern Roller Shutters since 2005-2006 and went back to Modern when we needed another roller shutter to keep the heat out of our bedroom as we knew the high standard of quality and customer care. I had an issue with the product and now they are prepared to rectify it. So far so good will update the outcome.
Mesh didn’t let air in which created a very hot room

more than what they offered. They help and wait till I got enough money after they gave me price to help me. Job done profesonally. Shatters fitted nicely so when it is windy it will not shake. I am really happy with the job and service. Thank for everyone.

Our shutters have changed the look and feel to our home they have made our house cooler and have made the house look more modern and have made our house look more inviting to our guest

Install for shutters was good and to the date at quotation.
However, post install phone calls are a nuisance.
When contact details are given for purchase - they are not for cold call sales - I will call if you are needed.
Have requested my number to be removed from cold call listing worked for a while - now started again.
When you hand your phone number over- be warned they will hound you.

I had plantation shutters installed in 3 bedrooms, early on Jan 14th at Toowong.

The entire process was unbelievably professional, from the quote to the finished product.

I note the very efficient, courteous service from all concerned, particularly Manager Brendan, Production Mgr Sandra Hobbs and the installer Richard.

Our 3 x 5m wide outdoor blinds to our 16m x 3m sized back patio looks awesome. It made the outside look like a whole new room. Cooler in summer. Tested it in a storm and it kept the patio area clean and dry. No more prying eyes from neighbours, no more birds coming in and attacking our budgies and making a mess on the ground. No more constant sweeping of leaves from the patio. Beautiful addition to our house. Thank you Modern !!

From the first phone call to Modern to the install of both shutters and outdoor blinds they were professional. The process was easy from sale, to measuring and the installation. No mess left behind from the installers who were polite and professional (Sean, Warren & Richard). Both products look fabulous and cut down heat into our bedrooms and lounge. We can change the direction of the blinds to adjust privacy and light. We were so impressed with the quality and service that we have already ordered more shutters. We would highly recommend the Modern Group.

We are very happy with our new plantation shutters. They look much better than the old vertical blinds we had, and also cut out light and heat much better - perfect for the current heat wave. Service was great and installation was quick and professional.

I changed old blinds to new shutters on the windows on the western side of the house. What a difference both in looks and heat control. I am so impressed that I am looking to replace other old blinds to shutters. My installer was very good and I would recommend this product to all.
