Shutters were purchased and installed in 2016 and then some more were purchased and installed in 2017. We are happy with the product and they have worked faultlessly since then. I understand calling the customers after the product is installed is important as it shows good customer support and care. However to keep calling every year for four years has become annoying. We have asked to no longer be called but today we again received another call. What part of "please don't call us anymore, we will call you if the need arises" do you not understand?

Modern have looked after us for over fourteen years. We have installed shutters at home and just recently at our holiday house. Great job, couldn't believe how fast and efficient everything ran. From Andrew at the call center, to Neil who quoted the job and Eugen the installer. Very professional. I highly recommend this Australian company. Great job guys!!

Called into the office as the check measure hasn’t occurred and haven’t heard anything. Was advised that the job had to be changed to another installer due to him being sick and that I was be called today (Monday) called again and was sworn at and told to [censored word removed] because I wanted to cancel. They offered me $130 discount and claimed I was being rude. I never raised my voice, I never swore. The guy on the phone then told me he is going to dump the shutters on my front lawn then send me a VCAT letter and get his money. Then told me that he is recording the call and make sure that the massive legal team he has get everything from me.

Now I have paid a company $500 which refuse to do anything but swear at me!!

We had a slight issue with the process we experienced when obtaining a quote, however this was quickly rectified by Steven who was most concerned about our problem and couldnt do enough to solve it for us. Knowing there is that kind of back up and Customer service goes a long way to instill confidence with this company

Installed with a minimum of fuss in very good time.
The installers were very professional and courteous .
The blind is excellent value for money.

I had my motorized shutters fitted 18 years ago by Modern. I have never had any problems & I often get call backs from Modern to see if I’m still happy with their product.
I have recommend their shutters to family & friends & I will continue to do so.

I phoned for a quotation and was given several reasons why I can’t get one. The customer service officer named May, just seemed too busy to want our business. She was full of petty excuses.

had the hole house done 18 months ago, got the battery controllers, the small kitchen motor has stopped working and need to replace it, not happy jan as there only covered by a 12 month warranty, should of got the electric motors, so now i hope i dont have to replace the rest of the house motors,

Everything was installed quickly and efficiently and I had no issues until the motor broke on one of the shutters only 4 years later. Wasn’t happy about the fact that I had to pay quite a large amount to have it replaced.

We got 5 Dux outdoor blinds along our pergola. We have a windy area with a dog kennel and now we find it cooler in the summer. We can sit outside on hot days and cooler days now and enjoy our backyard.

The outdoor blinds make a big difference to our back deck area, when they are up you hardly notice they are there, & when they are down they stop so much wind & rain, & look great.

Love the shutters themselves. They perform as advertised. However the battery unit that powers the closing and shutting won't last long. I have had to replace the battery several times.

The installation and set up all went very well. However on review I think that the sales man was very aggresive and the price I paid was excessive. If I was to do it again I would have done more research and probably would not have used MODERN.

The blinds mean my alfresco area can be protected from dust, leaves and birds so it's clean and ready for entertaining at any time. Highly recommend the product and Modern Group.
